The Rhu Glenn is a lovely hotel, away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly.

This hotel is a little off the beaten track. This is perfect if you want a quiet break away, but you'd definitely need a car to get to all the nearby attractions. The breakfast was ok, but we would have preferred a buffet where you can choose whatever foods you want. We had to ask staff to bring essentials to the table, such as butter, marmalade, orange juice.

The hotel couldn't be any more convenient. It was a great place to stop for a night. The restaurant was open late, and the food options were plentiful. The breakfast in the morning was great. The large scone with clotted cream and jam was a highlight.

Most rooms face the road and west toward the sun. So, the room was a bit hot early in the evening, and there was minor road noise. Still nothing to be too concerned about.

the location is excellent for travel and stay whilst visiting Waterford. Being a little outside of the city meant that it was quiet, relaxing and most of all a beautiful place for a night stay. We enjoyed the atmosphere and the ambience that Rhu Glen provided. We availed ourselves the opportunity for a stroll along the country road and soak up the peaceful surrounds. A fantastic location for visiting the sites of Waterford.

There was nothing to dislike here.

Rhu Glenn Hotel was an absolute gem of a find for families! We were so impressed with the facilities, the service and the super friendly staff! They helped get us settled and went above and beyond when we arrived late with cranky kids. As a family with 4 children, it is so frustrating to have to book 2 rooms at hotels for our kids who are too young to stay alone anyways, so we are so grateful when a hotel offers accommodations for all of us to stay in one room comfortably! The family room was perfect. The location of the hotel was very convenient to many sites. The staff at breakfast, dinner and at the front desk all were so friendly and helpful! The food at every meal was delicious also! We would love to visit again.

It was quite hot in our room due to the summer heat and the window only opened a tiny amount so there was no airflow. It made sleeping difficult. It would be wonderful if they had fans to offer guests for times when the heat is uncomfortable.

Generally everything was fine. Wi-Fi signal was quite poor but I believe that due to room location. ( 11). But, nice room. Large. But, It was a family room for three adults.

Unfortunately, at last minute, Son unable to come with us due to something unexpected. So, only myself and wife attended. Lady on reception was informed on our arrival and stated she would offer is a Twin / Double room. There was also the question of a third breakfast which we would no longer require.We were still given room for 3 and charged same including 3rd breakfast. Had hoped to have been allowed some discount under the circumstances. But, it was very short notice.

lovely pleasant hotel, staff ,brilliant really helpful and friendly the food in the bar was excellent. The restaurant was not open when we were there only for breakfast in the morning which was also excellent part buffet part table service. The hotel was very clean throughout if a little dated but this added to the charm of the place . Very spacious car park and very well maintained outside with beautiful flower baskets everywhere

My only problem was that there was no elevator but this is clearly stated on the website

We are a family of four with 2 young kids and the hotel manager made us welcome right from the start. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and refilled with tea, biscuits and mineral water. We had dinner one night at the hotel and it was delicious and even the kids finished their plate. The location was excellent with easy access to Waterford and Wexford with plenty of parking. All in all it was a wonderful experience and looking forward to staying again.

the hotel is spotless clean if your in to modern decor this is for you it’s cosy and comfortable staff were lovely especially a red haired bar man (i didn’t get his name) he gave us suggestions of things to do with the children if it was raining the food was lovely really enjoyed our stay ample parking aswell

Stayed here with my sister for a weekend break and had a brilliant time.. ...Really nice hotel...lovely staff from start to finish!! Nothing was too much trouble!! All so friendly and helpful...lovely food as well..excellent location..just a few miles into Waterford city.....thank you John and your lovely staff...excellent service..we will be back!!

Our room was at the front and with the warm weather we had to leave the window open hence the road noise The cost of our room I feel was to expensive and should have included breakfast which was an additional charge
