Lovely room and beautiful location.

On arrival we were told that we had to book breakfast and the preferred solt wasn't available. Also, felt slightly admonished as we were also told that it was explained on an email after booking. We booked that morning from Dublin and were travelling by car so didn't look at emails before arrival. Our time slot wasn't available. My 85 year old mother was upset. We were later told that we could have breakfast when we wanted. Perhaps a note on the hotel site about this would have alerted us to the breakfast situation. I felt this situation could have been avoided.

The staff were amazing. The cocktail bar was beautiful and the food in the roseville restaurant was lovely and very enjoyable. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. The pool and jacuzzi was just so relaxing however there was no one in the pool reception the whole time we were there, just be mindful incase something serious happened. I would definitely stay here again.

It's only personal preference but I would have preferred a buffet breakfast. In saying that though the breakfast was very tasty. Although the breakfast tier trays weren't great. Not much I would eat off it and I could see lots being returned to the kitchen still full which shows that other people weren't too keen either.

Beds, ensuite bathroom spacious and clean, very clean hotel in general, temperature of the room was perfect, surrounding areas very beautiful, leisure facilities were very nice.

We had dinner in the Alyward Lounge and my mother was waiting an hour and 10 minutes for her food to arrive as there was a mix up with her order, while I got mine much sooner and was trying to wait for hers to come before I ate but it was going cold so I ate it so therefore we weren’t eating our meal together by the time hers came. The food was exceptional though and this was only a small annoyance.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this Faithlegg hotel, and we can't recommend it highly enough! From start to finish, our experience was simply fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we can honestly say that this hotel exceeded all of our expectations. One thing that really stood out to us was the exceptional level of care and attention that the staff paid to our young daughter. They went above and beyond to ensure that she was comfortable and happy throughout our stay and that as parents we had time to relax and unwind. We really appreciated the extra effort that they put in. In fact, we were impressed by the attention to detail that the staff showed in all aspects of their work. From the immaculate cleanliness of our room to the seamless check-in process, everything was just perfect. And let's not forget about the waiters and staff who worked tirelessly to make sure that we had everything we needed. They were attentive, courteous, and always willing to go above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. All in all, we had an excellent time at this hotel, and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. If you're looking for a hotel that truly cares about its guests and offers exceptional service, then this is definitely the place for you!

One of my favourite hotels I've visited what did I love? The room: gorgeously decorated, really well lit (very rare for a hotel) with a fab dressing table to do my makeup, huge comfy bed, great shower, loved the traditional key instead of a swipe card, elemis bath products were lovely. Food : top notch and I'm extremely fussy. Breakfast (veggie options)and dinner casual menu in the cocktail bar delicious not to mention the margarita and the decor in the bar is impressive absolutely beautiful. Well thought out menu fresh food not frozen or processed. Caters for veggie and vegan well with thought put into the options. Location: lovely part of waterford, we spent day one on the way to the hotel in the city, day 2 driving the copper Coast and day 3 (check out 12) took the free bikes and cycled the grounds then grabbed coffee in the coffee van. Staff were so friendly and accommodating especially over breakfast when I wanted to very awkwardly change up my breakfast a little. They have a beautiful pool and large jacuzzi, steam room, sauna and gym. Just a great hotel 4 star price without being too over the top. Left with some off their produce: faithlegg brown bread, marmalade and olive tapenade. Just a great hotel. I live in Dublin and hope to next try their sister hotel Kilashee but I'd really love to come back to Faithlegg also if I can afford to visit both. A well run hotel credit to staff and management .

Nothing everything was excellent.

I felt very young there (!!!) as most of the clientele were older, retired couples or groups. There were a few younger families/couples though. It was very peaceful and a classy place. The room was beautiful and spacious (got an upgrade to a master room which was a lovely surprise!). The food was very good in the restaurant.

As I wasn't drinking, I was a bit disappointed with the options for something to drink with dinner - the selection of non-alcoholic drinks was very limited (basically just your typical fizzy soft drinks, and things like plain tonic water). I live in Poland and there is a thriving non-alcoholic market here, with many delicious soft drinks and often home-made lemonade (of seasonal flavours) available, as well as things like Kombucha and a large selection of hot teas (including home made versions with fruit, honey etc.). So, returning to my home country, I was surprised how little was on offer.

- Breakfast was fantastic, and of a very high quality. - Large swimming pool and amazing jacuzzi. - Live music in the bar area was good, and the bar was very lively. - Bathroom was great with separate bathtub and shower. - Fantastic location set in wonderful grounds. - The gardens were beautiful and peaceful.

- The changing rooms to the pool were locked way after the opening time. Staff had to be informed as they had forgotten to unlock the door. - Only one key to the room, which made it difficult for my wife and I to go our separate ways.

From start to finish this hotel was perfect for a great weekend break, we do not know the area and by chance booked this hotel to attend a family Christening in nearby Waterford. Everything about the hotel and our stay was perfect, it ended up being a really relaxing, tranquil break. The suite we had was a bonus (did not expect it), the food, room service, spa, grounds, and staff made it. We will definitely be returning! Thank you Faithlegg for everything.

Beautiful location, great breakfast and bar staff

Noise level, very loud late at night due to weddings. No disclaimer when booking.

The dinner and breakfast we had here was some of the best I’ve ever had in hotels. The staff were extremely helpful and very nice and always helpful. We got upgraded to a suite for our anniversary and it was absolutely gorgeous. The room had lots of extras that a lot of hotels don’t provide (luxurious mini toiletries, coffee machine, homemade shortbread etc). The leisure and spa facilities were spotless. I will definitely return if I’m Waterford again.
