Americana Eilat Hotel

Great value for money, good variety at breakfast, lovely pool and mountain views from the room and balcony. Comfortable big bed and big room full of natural light. Excellent location in hotel area, next to the ice mall and near the beaches and restaurants. The hotel building also has a supermarket and restaurant. 15min walk to bus station. Reception staff, housekeeping and guards were kind and super helpful. Will come back.

Mold in bathroom, with shorter stays and warm climate it is tolerable yet not ideal. Soundproofing could be better. Considering the price and overall experience, I can't complain much :)

Staff were all nice and helpful. Food in buffet restaurant was good. Parking was free and convenient. Pool area was lovely. This is an older hotel in a location that might put beach lovers off (a bit of a walk) but the very reasonable price reflects this. There's lots of shopping close by and it's just a block from the marina lagoon. Although we used our own car when going beyond walking distance, there was public transport - including a bus to and from the airport - right outside.

Because it's an older property, there were things that didn't work as they should have: lights that needed replacing, noisy in-room fridge for example.

The bed was really wide and comfortable, there was a bath tub and all the towels were new and white. Breakfast is decent for Israeli hotel. The pool is big and looked clean.

We came off season, the pool was empty and being refinished - this caused quite a bit of noise. The public areas of the hotel presented as what might have been called 'retro' but were simply worn.

Rooms after overhaul, evry thing is new and in good shape. sound isolation is ok if you get quiet neighbors that doesn't sit outside, otherwise it will be a noisy stay.

The pool hours is 10:00 till 18:00.

What you pay is what you get. But for us location ,staff and service was very good.

It is very well located and the staff was exceptional.

Bed without complete set of bars to hold the mattress in position (however the staff solved the problem). The shower was blocked with a ball of hair. The paint room and the pipes from sink and shower need general maintenance.

The breakfast is good I think it would be better if they add more dairy products like different types of cheese The location of the hotel is very good

The public area is not clean. Guess left garbage on the tables around the pool and ignore the gabage bukets. It is realy disgasting

Staff was pleasant and helpful. Most spoke English. Facilities where good and operating. Like an old fashioned hotel. Not overcrowded.

As is typical in Israel, parking was cramped.
