staff were amazing and so helpful all the time. helped us also with shuttles and and excursion bookings (with no commission either). it was about a 10 minute walk to Damascus gate and the centre of Jerusalem. about 20 mins walk to all the amazing bars high street and food etc

air con was not amazing in our room but not majorly fussed

The fact that breakfast is included in the bill. Polite and helpful staff. The staff/manager called Yahia was exceptionally helpful on the very last day when we had a bit of a problem somewhere else; he was very helpful. This place is recommended.

For the price, it's all good. Keep these prices for some time, and we will certainly come and stay here.

I loved that old fashioned Jordanian Middle Eastern atmosphere . You enter the lobby - you are in the Middle East and the Levant. Enough with the plastic europeanish places . The place is a time-capsule and I hope it remains as it is

The garden and the place for breakfast is very cozy. I think it would be an excellent idea to have a coffee machine and basic things so that the guests can prepare their own tea and coffee all day long and whenever they want to. This hotel is very “homey”. This will make the guests feel really at home. It’s easy: Just let a kettle, Nescafé , black Arab coffee or maybe filter coffee and filters and let the guests to prepare it themselves . It will be great

Staff were great! Abraham at the front desk and his staff members really looked after us! He was extremely helpful & friendly. Gave us great tips & was there when we needed him. Even gave me his personal phone number if I needed it. He upgraded me & my friend to a suit after there was an accident of booking a double bed for me & my travel buddy so we could have two seperate beds as originally requested.

The only negative was the breakfast was very rash. Was literally only 2 boiled eggs and 2 slices of cheese per person. Toast with butter or jam, cordial & milk with cereal. Not sure if it was budget cut. But most Israeli breakfast even if they are continental rather than buffet are generally generous & set you up for the whole day. The staff were always content to give me & my buddy more eggs on request but hope they can atleast up grade it abit to make it more standard. All in all I was happy to stay there.

I was travelling in Jordan and crossed the border to visit Jerusalem. I stayed at Addar hotel for almost a week and a half. The staff at this hotel are amazing. They were so helpful and welcoming which makes such a difference to a hotel stay- especially when you are a solo traveller. Anything I needed help with, they took care of. I cant say enough about the staff, they were so considerate, polite and kind; this is what most stands out to me at this hotel and it made my stay so pleasant. They really looked after me. Yahya was so helpful in helping me organize my stay and guiding me. It was such a good experience to be there. The hotel is in a convenient location to the walled city. It would take me about 10-15 min to walk to the Damascus Gate entrance. The bus stand is also nearby. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay in when visiting Jerusalem.

This hotel felt exactly like what the word translates to in English: "Home." It was my home away from home. The rooms were massive and way more than what I expected per the price, it was like having an apartment more than a hotel room. The staff were some of the friendliest I've encountered, and I traveled to many different locations in the world. There was a close shop that you can pick up quick grocery needs, great restaurants and a quick walk to the Old City. Yahia was a great concierge and set up personal tours and taxis for me when needed. Just such a pleasurable experience all around.

Great location, staff is very friendly and helpful , Nayef and Abraham were amazingly welcoming. Best coffee I’ve had there was the one they are serving at the breakfast and the garden -great place to have your breakfast, lunch or just relax. Will definitely choose to stay at their hotel again.
