Excellent location, and we were able to find free street parking close by pretty easily. Check-in was efficient and easy, and the staff is friendly. The wifi was fine, and the a/c worked great. Bottled water and beer are available for purchase 24/7. The breakfast was perfect for us, with great coffee, bread, eggs, salad, and a variety of cheeses and spreads. Our queen suite was spacious. There was an electric kettle with a supply of tea, coffee, and sugar.

Our room, the queen suite, included a sofabed. I had to ask that linens be brought for it, since they didn't realize we would want to use it, and a sheet was promptly delivered. We only realized late at night that there was no blanket for it. The sofabed was also quite soiled. The included kitchenette had no dishes. So if you plan on eating in the unit, ask for some dishes when you arrive.

Authentic & rustic, just fitting in with the neighborhood and overall atmosphere. Streetside parking nearby, Garden Terrace with seating. Room was clean, Heating was great. Staff were courteous and helpful. Liked our stay and will come again when we can.

Really, there was nothing not to like. Having the right expectations is key. This is a small family operated hotel located in an old building with a lot of charm in it.

The people were super nice and helpful, especially Avishai and Rami. The room was comfortable and clean. The sheets and towels were clean and nice. The breakfast was good.

The only thing I didn’t love is that it was a little deserted at night. There’s no front desk with a person there, and it was a little dark at night. I wouldn’t recommend it for a woman traveling alone. But otherwise I would recommend it.

Wonderful bed. Very clean, fresh smelling linens and towels. Owners tried very hard to accommodate me for breakfast and carrying things to my room because I have trouble walking. Rami knew without asking that I wanted a second cappuccino. And he found my passport that I left in the safe. I was very grateful. Beautiful garden.

I would have liked a common sitting area as I am used to this in bed and breakfasts. I imagine the garden is for this in good weather but in winter I felt isolated as I am alone.

Very peaceful place to rest. Close to bus routes using Google maps to old city, Bethlehem, and main train/bus stations. Great morning breakfast. Very help couple i.e. needed bus reservation on some bus routes leaving town like Eilat. We got lucky and had largest room with luxury bath. After 8-12km of walking one day hot tub was relaxing.

Understand no to limited public transportation on Friday afternoon till an hour after sunset Saturday. Walking to & from the old city adds up. The bus to Bethlehem did run on Saturday, which goes past the old city.

This is a small, charming, comfortable and lovely home away from home. Breakfast was wonderful. Homemade bread, delicious caffe latte, tea, fresh lemonade if available. One day I was treated to some homemade baklava. And always eggs with delicious homemade spreads and cheeses. All served in a beautiful place. The small hotel is in a beautiful and interesting old building. The beds are comfortable. The towels good. There is heat and air conditioning. In front of the hotel is a beautiful garden. The place is well cared for by the warm, helpful, gracious and pleasant owners who work hard to make it a lovely and comfortable place for guests. The neighborhood is great. It’s pretty. It’s easy to get everywhere, by walking or bus. Good restaurants, grocery, and shops nearby. Close to Emek Refaim, walkable to the old city.

This is not a luxury hotel. But it was very comfortable, friendly, very clean and exceptionally charming. There wasn’t much I didn’t like. It was a great place to stay in a great neighborhood.

The bed was very comfortable. The staff were great - very friendly and helpful. Rami the housekeeper brought us (unasked) a large piece of watermelon just after our arrival and some milk (as requested). The breakfast was wonderful and served in the charming garden. The large safe was very useful. The curtains could be shut properly to darken the room at night.

The room looks dated with tatty mats and old furniture. The bottom sheet had a sewn-up rip in it. The bottom shower had a broken switch. This was (temporarily) fixed with a piece of plastic immediately after we mentioned it. We didn't use the jacuzzi as it didn't look great to sit in.

We stayed for a short weekend. If you have a car - there is free parking on the street, and driving is 15 minutes to anywhere in the city. Rooms are big, bed mattress was hard enough, very quiet room, excellent AC, clean, delicious breakfast outside in the front garden. Not as good as in the website picture... There are very good coffee houses just outside the street.

It is a family owned property in Baka'a, just a walking distance from the "First station" with all its restaurants and activities. Our room was spacious, and had a jacuzzi. The breakfast was just as we like, homey and tasty, fried eggs,Israeli salad, jam, cheese bread ,butter and spreads. The street has many cafés and delictessen,it has a great vibe. Free street parking was a perk. The room had soundproof windows. All by all, it is very friendly with a nice atmosphere

All good

For us this was a very good location. Breakfast was OK but after 2-3 days perhaps something a little different would be good.
