The hostel was clean and the staff was the loveliest. Andrea gave us the warmest welcome and was the friendliest. The beds were comfortable and the location is unbeatable, just around the train station.

I wouldn't hold this against the hostel as I'm pretty sure it was a one time thing, but the events in the bar were cancelled the only night we stayed due to a private party and we couldn't use the kitchen, laundry and shared toilets in the evening.

VERY large hostel. (8 floors). All the bells and whistles. Self-laundry, bar, kitchen (too small and well used), fast elevator bank, lots of common space, large outdoor patio. Your own light and socket of every bed with a small privacy wall at your head. Comfortable mattress and very good quality sheets! Large drawer lockers under bunks. 24-hour front desk.

The dorm layout was terrible! The bathroom is literally IN the dorm room. I mean NO door from sinks area etc. No barrier from lights and noise.

Super close to the train station! Very easy to navigate anywhere from there. Early breakfast hours available for early travellers. Staff was helpful and felt safe inside the accommodation.

No where to get dressed outside of showers in the mixed dorm rooms. So you had to keep everything inside the shower with you. 2nd lamp and plug at bed also didn't work.

Close to the train station. Toilet showers and sinks in the room. Very social guests. Good price.

There isn't much to dislike, but I do prefer beds with curtains.

It is clean. The breakfast buffet is really nice. Staff speak english. The place looks nice. The location is near bus stops. They have everyday activity for guests. But since I am just staying for one night, i prefer to sleep. They give free earbuds for guest. The toilet has that manual bidet, not the hand bidet, the one where you sit bidet. Complete set of beddings except the duvet has no appropriate cover but should be fine.

You have to check in early so you get the spot you want, especially if it is festive season in venice. If you are arriving at night, it is beside a bar. There is no light for the hostels name, so you have to find it. The entrance is a curved sliding door that is manual. You have to push it by force. There is no available plug beside your bed. The sockets are limited. The earbuds didn't work as the room that I am in has females who don't give any consideration for other guests. There is no curtain or any way you could put your towel on top of your bed for privacy. There are no mats on the bathroom and toilet. Make sure to bring extra slippers for you.

- Modern, creative design (eg. stickers in the elevator, motivational quotes on the mirror) - vibrant atmosphere, high popularity - activities available during fri-sun: live music, party, etc - clean room - good coffee machine - laundry services: both washing and drying machines available (charged)

- the sink & hairdryer are installed outside the bathroom; was embarrassed when coming back to room and having the shower late - the reception is often busy… not so easy to raise inquiries, not to mention to seek for more casual/random conversation (like travel advices) with them - one little odd thing happened: I requested 1-night extension on the last night of my original stay. I was told to move out the room as there’s new reservation. I packed my luggage and left the room in the next day’s morning. When I came back at night, I was arranged to the same room… feel like it can be handled more flexibly

I stayed at Anda Venice hostel for three nights. The location is convenient, close to the bus stop and train station to go to Venice Island. Overall, the hostel's atmosphere is great, decoration, space, rooms, activities, food, bar, parties. Rooms were comfortable and beds too. I liked that they had activities to do every day. You can also do your laundry there. I added breakfast to my stay and it was also good. If I ever get back to Venice, I would totally stay here again.

- There's a space in the ground floor where you can work if you work remotely, but it's an open space, therefore if you're having phone calls or video calls, it's not really convenient, it gets pretty noisy after 5pm and there are always people walking around that area, making a bunch of noise. It's not quiet enough. Fortunately, I had to work only one of the three days I stayed. Also, wifi stopped working for at least 40 minutes that day... I wouldn't recommend this hostel if you're a digital nomad. - Each bed has their own light and outlet, mine didn't work.

The biggest hostel I ever stayed in! 8 floors with many rooms! + very modern, big lobby, garden, felt like hotel + good and safe location, just 5 min walk from Mestre station, many hotels on the way, supermarket 3 min walk + Train ticket to Venezia Santa Lucia only 1,45€ and 10 min. Careful, after 10 pm the ticket is 16€ to return to Mestre! + very big, clean rooms with two separate showers and separate WC, hair dryer and three sinks and mirrors + comfortable beds with lamp and socket, clean, NO bed bugs! + big lockers beneath the beds, don't forget your lock + AC + kitchen open until 22 pm + laundry room + programme every night (DJ, live music...) with security at the door

- The sinks and the hair dryer were in the hallway of the bedroom and not in the bathrooms. It was disturbing at night. - The kitchen was too small for so many people. Most of the people ate outside but still it was very crowded in the evening and they just had a few pans that worked with the induction cooker... - the area around Mestre station and the hostel is good, at night I wouldn't walk too far away from the hostel, it might be sketchy...

Hostel is situated next to train station, which is great, because from there you can get from Mestre to Venice in 10 minutes and its also around 30 minutes to other cities located around. Some locals told me that its dangerous to be around this area during the night, but i didnt have any complications at all. The hostel itself is modern and fun with party or other program every night, they also have their own bar/club right in the hostel. as a solo traveler i appreciate that thanks to every night program i got to meet a lot of cool people from all over the world. I recommend this place 100%

My stay 29th dec - 4th jan In case you stayed the exact same dates as me you would know that many called me the life of the party or party girl. I love parties so of course I went to every party(4) during my stay. For guests it’s free and there was also security at the parties. So if someone is bothering you and they won’t stop don’t hesitate to get help cause they will help you. The bartender and security that worked on 29th, thank you for helping me out. In conclusion as a girl I felt safe while partying and also knowing that my room was only a few floors away. I met a lot of new people and some of them I still am in contact with them. The people in the room you’re staying in might be nicer and more social than you think. I am social so I also talked to the staff - I don’t know all their names - but Julia and Parsa were kind even when I had many questions or my key card wasn’t working. The breakfast buffet(€7-8) is way cheaper at the hostel than on the Island. There was sausages, bacon,eggs(scrambled and boiled), different types of bread, plain croissants or filled with jam and sugar on top, turkey, ham, cheese, cornflakes, milk, apples, oranges, juices, coffee machine, and some stuff to make your own salad but I didn’t pay much attention to that. The room I stayed in had 9 beds also 9 lockers(bring your own padlock), a desk with 3 chairs, 3 sinks with mirrors(with lights), 2 showers and 1 toilet. The rooms got cleaned daily - so like the toilet and 2 showers. The cleaning ladies were also kind and if you see them also greet them. You can wash and dry your clothes(€4 each). The washing machine can hold 3 kg. In case you forget to bring your own towel it’s €5 for your stay. If you arrive earlier than check in or your flight is later than check out, you can storage your luggage in the lockers in the lobby. Free of charge with your own padlock. I really enjoyed my stay at Anda, I felt comfortable and safe. And of course I would stay there again when I go back.
