All the sweets that staff was brining everyday, the central heating and the hot water, which made out stay very cosy, are the main things we liked. Also we had nice terrace with a table and chairs, maybe during summer it will be nice sitting outside. Location is 10 over 10, very close to everything needed - it’s not far from the city centre (10 mins walk), but also it’s closer to Citta Alta being located in the East, than the West side of the city; fruits and vegetables and bakery next to the hotel; there’s a restaurant downstairs and also very close there’s Aldi supermarket, pizza restaurant and other traditional Italian restaurants. Also there’s a pharmacy very close. Overall we fell inlove with the neighbourhood and Bergamo at all.

Power-outlets were kind of difficult to use, hairdryer has larger plugs and it hardly fit in one. A shower shelf can be put for shampoos and stuff in the cabin.

Stayed here only for a couple of nights during a short trip to Bergamo but had a great stay. 🙂 Staff was helpful, the room and surrounding facilities were tidy and clean. Nice selection for in-room breakfast. The check-in was very easy and quick. The location of the hotel was great- no issue getting to the city centre or the old city. Overall we had a pleasant stay at Locanda Cece e Simo.

We made sure to let the staff know of our arrival time, however the room was not ready. However, the staff was very nice about it and let us leave the luggage in the room.

It's a nice small hotel a bit distant from the downtown on a quite street. The only problem was registration and electronic key. If your cell phone is dead, or internet is slow you might not be able to open the doors.. Also the policy about additional charges is not clear.. We were charged and our friends, who left later, weren't.. The room was spacious, high ceilings, pretty cool inside even without AC. Don't expect to get continental breakfast. These are sweets, cookies and coffee, but that's what Italians have for breakfast, so were felt like Italians these few days ;-)

Electronic key might be a problem.

Friendly, very helpful staff and excellent location. Sleek interior design and my room (202) was quite spacious with a huge artsy bathroom. Everything was spotless. Ample storage and very large comfortable bed, and I appreciated the reliable Wifi throughout building. Enjoyed the cozy common breakfast area with rooftop terrace for a bit of morning sun. A light breakfast with baked goods from the house, complete with all tableware is provided individually in a cute "package" and they use a convenient digital check-in and key system. This all keeps things tidy and efficient, and allows maximum independence. Great mixed residential neighbourhood and I could walk to the Old Town in approx. 20 mins. Absolutely recommend.

the property is lovely! located right next to a restaurant next door which is lovely, but no noise comes from the restaurant so this is ideal. the room was very spacious and fully facilitated with a tv and bathroom amenities. the breakfast was also a lovely touch with many items such as a muffin and juice to enjoy. the staff were also very kind and friendly: giving us clear check in procedures, being patient despite us checking in late and giving us invaluable directions to get to the air port.

my only tiny quarm would be the fact there was only one kind of soap available in the bathroom, separate shampoo and conditioner would’ve been lovely but we brought this anyway so it didn’t affect our stay.

Great accommodation and contact with the property management. Easy access to the property even with closed reception at any time of the day.

The so I'm told typical Italian sweet breakfast can not be called breakfast. It includes a basket of sweet treats like muffins and cakes with jam and nutella, two juice bottles and small slices of that dry bread toast thing.

Excellent location, walking distance from the train station, city center, etc. Nice staff! The most on point self check in location I've been in. The "Virtual Key" - unlocking your door from a web platform - is amazing. We had breakfast included, it was really tasty (but very sugary, not optimal if you are concerned about your weight, haha). The room was very clean and cozy.

An improvement would be to include the city tax in the check-in form.

Good location and very helpful staff. Easy self check-in and good breakfast. The room's cleanliness was excellent. I recommend this property to anyone looking to book a stay in Bergamo.

The bed wasn't the most comfortable, but this was a minor issue. Overall it was still a great stay.

Lovely building, comfortable room, friendly staff. Bus stops right next to the hotel, reasonable walk to the old town. Nice restaurant around the corner, two bigger shops within 7min walk. Air conditioning worked well.

Breakfast was a bit too sweet.

Very clean and cozy. The room was very pretty and on my liking. It was close to the train station (15-20 mins of slow walking) and the old town. They also have a coffee machine and water dispenser in the breakfast room that you may use free of charge.

The only downside is that everything from the breakfast tray is sweet.
