Good location and easy to find if you are driving. Free secure parking. Roberta, our host, is friendly and helpful, and multi-lingual. Good breakfast, with reasonable choice of yogurt, cold meat, cheese, bread, fruit etc, not just the sweet things and cake that are the norm for most Italians. Daily maid service was a bonus too, including changes of towels and bedlinen during our six-night stay.

Some nights there was noise from very loud TV in early hours, but not sure if this was other guests or neighbours. Not much anyone can do about it though.

Our stay at La Villa Desenzano, despite only being 2 nights, was nonetheless a truly relaxing and comfortable one. The villa itself only has 6 rooms and each room is decorated differently Our room (number 4) was absolutely lovely with a very comfortable bed and a lovely spacious bathroom - it also had a large balcony accessed via a large patio door with comfy garden chairs and recliners. There is an electric roller shutter on the outside to ensure a dark room to sleep in and also to keep the room cooler during the day as it was very hot whilst we were there. However you don't need to worry too much as the room does have air conditioning. This balcony became a perfect place to unwind in at the end of a hot day's sightseeing, taking ferries, walking, eating and drinking. Breakfasts are extra but well worth the money with a choice of fruits, cheeses, meats, cereals, juices and fresh bakery to choose from. Roberta, the host, went out of her way to make sure we were happy and content with everything in our room and the villa in general and even gave us a lift to the railway station on a day when we went to Verona. La Villa Desenzano is only a few minutes walk from the centre of town so no concerns about being too far out. As you would expect from a town on the lake, there are a multitude of good bars & restaurants to choose from. We absolutely loved our stay and thoroughly recommend Roberta and La Villa Desenzano especially as we found it to be one of the best places we have ever stayed in.

Everything was absolutely great!! Gorgeous villa, great location - cca. 10 min walk to the railway station and some 5-7 minutes walk to the centre of Desenzano del Garda. The room had everything we needed - there's a safe, a fridge with a mini bar, a bathroom with all the toiletries. We even had a small and charming balcony. Roberta is a very kind host and she gave us a warm welcome (as her brother, too, who helped with the check-out). Would definitely recommend!

Everything was great, we were sad to leave the villa.

We loved our stay at the property, had everything we needed from onsite parking to smart tv to cute little balcony. We enjoyed a night in town and a night in the hotel both of equal enjoyment thanks to facilities and comfort of the room. The staff are also extremely pleasant, helpful and welcoming! Would love to return and highly recommend.

The only suggestion I could make is the mattress is a little springy, so depending on what type of bed you like may be a little uncomfortable.

Lovely villa with great location in the center of Desenzano. Everything is very close in walkable distance when going out. Cozy villa, really nice and clean rooms with everything you need. Great spacious bathroom with rain shower. Hostess Roberta is so kind, helpful and lovely. Managed to make late self check-in effortlessly thanks to got instructions. Would definitely return when visiting Lake Garda. Very good value for money.

Location was perfect. The owner gave clear instructions on how to check in remotely. The room was beautiful with a great shower and it’s own terrace with sun loungers.

Water in the room said it was €1 a bottle but we had 2 bottles and were charged €3. I didn’t mind paying this but the owner should update the price list in the room. Even better would be to give a complimentary bottle.

Roberta was such a great host and couldn’t do enough for us. The location was also fantastic, just a 10 minute walk from the train station and only 5 minute walk from the main area in desenzano. We had a lovely room, very spacious also with a balcony. Roberta was so easy to communicate with upon both arrival and departure and all times in between

Great location, short walk to/from the train station and the lake. Our host was very helpful and welcoming, highly recommend renting bicycles to bike around the lake or just explore wherever you like, mostly very flat and easy to navigate. Breakfast was great, good spread and all very tasty

The mini fridge wasn't really able to cool anything, not a big deal

The hotel is very close (5 min walk) to the centre with shops, bars, restaurants and beaches. Roberta is so kind and we appreciated the recommendations of places to eat when we arrived. The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed, excellent air conditioning and even a small terrace. The en suite was especially lovely with a big walk in, open plan shower. We opted not to have breakfast in the hotel but it looked good, and we could still have coffee every morning at a small charge.

Wonderful room, clean and spacious. Even a small balcony and minibar. Breakfast was very good. Roberta herself: amazing personality, always happy to help, we felt so welcome! This is one of the best places we have ever visited and will be back if we'll get a chance.

I cannot imagine anything to improve. Everything was so perfect.
