I traveled to Florence with family at the beginning of July. The host was very helpful with changing our dates due to our flight cancelation. Im grateful for that. He communicated with us prior to reaching the property and met with us to show us the room. The location of property is great, very close to center. Just a short walk from main center and restaurants. The room was great, clean and brand new. It had just been renovated. The breakfast was great, good selection and the lady was very helpful with our food choices. Overall I had a great experience and I strongly recommend Canto degli Aranci.

During my recent stay in Florence, I had the pleasure of experiencing the delightful Canto degli Aranci Bed and Breakfast, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in every way possible. Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the owner, who made sure everything was in order and provided clear instructions about the amenities and local attractions. Communication with the owner throughout my stay was exceptional; they were always available to answer questions and offer recommendations, making me feel truly welcomed and valued as a guest. The breakfast served each morning was a delightful assortment of local delicacies, providing the perfect start to a day of exploring Florence. The location of the B&B couldn't have been more convenient, with all the major tourist sites within a comfortable 10-20 minute walk. This allowed me to immerse myself fully in the beauty and history of the city without worrying about long commutes. One feature that stood out was the accessibility of the property. There is an elevator conveniently located from the first floor, which made moving luggage a breeze. Speaking of which, the owner kindly assisted me with my suitcase upon arrival and even arranged for a taxi during check-out, demonstrating a level of hospitality that goes above and beyond. The rooms themselves were spacious and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. As someone who occasionally works remotely, having a dedicated desk was incredibly helpful, and the stable WiFi connection allowed me to attend video conferences without any issues. In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend Canto degli Aranci to anyone visiting Florence. Whether you're traveling for leisure or business, the combination of excellent service, prime location, and comfortable accommodations make it an ideal choice. I look forward to returning and experiencing more of what this charming B&B has to offer.

Flavio, the manager, is fantastic! He’s incredibly helpful, accommodating, and charming. We shared our circling experience trying to return a rental car. He told us Florence has a traffic congestion pricing system for non residents. If you have a specific hotel destination, the hotel must arrange a pass or you will incur a fine. He went out of his way to ensure that our getting lost in Florence would not cost us! He also called the rental car agency to obtain our car’s plate number. He went out of his way to assist us and make sure we were not fined. We had an inside room and it was extremely quiet. No street noise! The room was larger than most with a sitting area adjacent to the bedroom. Housekeeping was meticulous. The staff at breakfast were friendly and gracious. We look forward to a return visit!

Messages before arrival from our host, arranging our arrival. Greeted exceptionally well, made very welcome. Requests for little items to help our stay always met with friendly and positive response. Room was larger than expected, comfy bed, exceptionally clean and bed made/towels changed every day for a 3 night stay which we did not expect but appreciated. Communal area was lovely, light and airy, breakfast room was very well set out, simply but with a little style, with excellent continental breakfast choices available and additional effort to accommodate a Coeliac which again is always greatly appreciated. A great location, both for the day and evening. Easy walking distance of all the places you would likely wish to visit regards the tourist trail. Our host also provided us with some excellent suggestions of local smaller places to eat, where the ambiance and food was distinctly Tuscan, and all within 10-15 mins stroll. Upon leaving, we checked out but were left with access to the Hotel for safe storage of luggage for our last few hours in the city, allowing us to see out the trip without the need to carry bags for the last couple of hours, then collect and head to the train station. Flavio was a wonderful host. Great place to stay, excellent value for money.

We loved our stay. The location is close to the main attractions (5-20 min walk) and very close to great eateries. We enjoyed the breakfast almost every morning. There's an assortment of delicious pastries, cheese, meat, tea, and they will make you the best hard boiled egg. There are tourist books to read and take to your room that we browsed. Jars of candy in entryways. And if there is anything you need, the owner Flavio will help you. He is the kindest person you will meet. We felt very taken care of and safe during our stay. One day we ran into him in a bakery around town and it was like bumping into a friend in another country. The room was beautiful, roomy, and quiet. We had an incredibly comfortable king size bed. The first night we slept 15 hours after our flight! If ever in Florence, I would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was everything we could've asked for and more.

The room was very clean with stylish decor. Our room was a corner room for 3 people and very spacious. The location is very convenient and easy to access to all the main historical sites. There are more than enough options for restaurants, markets and cafes nearby. The good security with two locked gates and it felt safe. Just to set the right expectations, this is not a full service hotel and no staff is on site 24 hours. The breakfast is nice with good options of pastries, cold cut meat and cheese, fruits and yogurt. The staff offered to make coffee and hard boiled eggs.

This B&B is located on the 3rd floor of the building. There is no elevator from the entrance to the first floor. On one night, there was a live music in the building or somewhere very close and it was noisy. Other than that, the windows are sound proof and it was quiet.

The location was amazing. Flavio is an excellent host and super helpful and honest. The biggest headache in florence is parking but don't worry Flavio had that sorted well. The rooms are located in an old and classy building that felt very modern and spacious. There is an elevator installed in the building however its from the 2nd floor, not a big issue at all. The widows were some marvel of engineering. Once they are closed you hear nothing from the streets. The rooms were spacious , Bed comfortable, location impeccable. I highly recommend a stay here.

The room was very nice and clean. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of options. What made me write the review is that the day we checked out we still wanted to see some more sights but I was not feeling well. Even though we had checked out since the room was not booked that day they let me stay in the room so I could lie down while the rest of my group went to the museum. We were also allowed to leave our luggage until we went to the train station that evening. This was all very appreciated!

No ironing board and iron but it was not that big of a deal.

It’s in a great location, walking distance to everything but without noise due to double glazed windows. The rooms are beautifully decorated with every amenity you could possibly need and immaculate. The double showers are hot with fantastic pressure and the air conditioning works very well. The breakfast is varied and very tasty with great coffee. The host is superb in that he was very welcoming and accommodating and answered every question we had, and offered great advice on where to eat, shop etc. We will definitely be back!

Everything was perfect!

This is a lovely place to stay. Staff are very warm and welcoming, it is in a great location and the rooms are bright, clean and quiet. You can help yourself to fruit, biscuits, pastries and other things from the kitchen/dining area. The staff will happily organise tours for you.

Be aware that there are 32 steps to climb before you get to the lift (they state this very clearly in their description). Breakfast doesn't start until 8.30am. That is a bit late if you have a 9am tour or an early departure.
