The room is very close to all Florence attractions & there are lots of restaurants nearby. The room was quirky & fun. Really good shower.

The room was opposite an Irish bar, and we went there once for drinks pre evening meal. However, be aware that the bar has a resident singer and gets really noisy at night. The singing & karaoke goes on til 1am in the morning. There is a steep stairwell, which has no lighting in places. However, this may be out of the accommodation owner's control. There is no safety deposit box in the room. The room looked a little tired and could do with a refresh. The facilities reported on Booking.com need to be reviewed as not all of them we're available as listed.

A major advantage of this property is location - it is just a couple of minutes walk from Duomo and most attractions are nearby. Beyond the good price, some features distinguished CodeRooms for me from other places in the same neighbourhood: very responsive staff, clear indication of a possibility to leave luggage in a closed luggage room, possibility of an easy, independent early check-out and proximity to both train stations: Santa Maria Novela and Campo di Marte

I was quite satisfied with our stay. We received good detailed instructions on how to access the room and it would probably be great to mention you need to push rather than pull the front gate. We had a couple of funny moments trying to pull with all our might:)

We liked the location. Very close to a lot of tourist attractions and even not too far to walk to the train station.

We stayed in the Duomo room, which directly faces the Irish pub right across the street. Our first night (a Wednesday), they had karaoke night and patrons were spilled out onto the street singing until closing time. Even with very good earplugs and the window closed it was quite loud. The remaining nights, even into the weekend were less noisy. So we recommend very good earplugs and keep the window closed. Use the AC to get cool air circulation. The pillows are very flat and perhaps designed for back sleepers. As a side sleeper, it was difficult to find the right height between the two per person to get enough lift for a comfortable sleep.

The location is perfect for walking anywhere in Florence, right in the heart of the historic centre! the design of the room and facilities were great, I think Florence is generally expensive so this is probably the standard rate per night although felt expensive compared with other cities we had visited on our trip. the rooms are honestly great, lots of space, comfortable beds and ease of access to the apartment!

I’m not sure whether this was an oversight on my part or it wasn’t included on the original booking information but it is important to note that if you are driving to this area you MUST book into one of the approved garages for parking, you cannot park on the street unless you are a resident or a taxi. Whilst the garage is pretty much opposite, it is extremely expensive, we paid £55 for 1 night which I think is criminal but ultimately, you don’t have a choice if you are driving and staying at this property, there doesn’t seem to be any other alternative either. just puts a one night stay on the wrong side of value for money as this has to be factored in. Not a criticism of the property itself as that was fantastic, as was the host.

The room (Palazzo Vecchio) was very nicely decorated, big enough, and centrally located. The communication with the host (kinda like an Airbnb) was very smooth. The bathroom was large, everything was clean and the bed despite being a bit small actually very comfy. This place definitely exceeded my expectations and I'd book it again.

The fridge unfortunately was broken. The bathroom does not have much space to put private things as it lacks some shelves (otherwise however all the important necessities)

super great location, great decoration , and super clean. host was ok I wish they answered our concerns and questions faster.

the elevator is a bit tricky to use, especially when you just arrived and if you need to store your luggage's before check in time. the elevator keys in your room so if you need to store your luggage before your check in you need to carry them up two floors. for our stay the AC was leaking so we couldn't use it.

The location was fantastic, the room was clean and well equipped. The luggage storage room was a big plus for us as it allowed us to make the most of our last day without worrying about carrying heavy bags around. A shoutout to the cleaning lady who was absolutely lovely and offered to help us with the elevator and made sure we had everything we needed.

The size of the room was good but the bed a little small for two people.

The location was great, the property was comfortable and clean. Check in was very easy and it was fun using codes to get in and out of the room. I loved having a balcony, even though it was a bit small

It would have been really nice to have a coffee machine in the room and the shower was very small, but there were plenty of coffee places close by

Bed was comfy and room itself was roomy and nice! I arrived early and the cleaning staff was super friendly despite not being able to speak English.

It said that it comes with a balcony, which is does but it’s tiny, you can only stand there & you cannot use it. It’s facing “courtyard” but that’s not a cozy way. Next time I’d rather pay the same price and go for the room that has a city view.

Location is perfect !

Its an okay place to spend a night or two. The bathroom light did not work, i texted the facility manager in whats up and the response was thanks for the information. Shampoo and soap was limited , no water bottles were offered. The room is tiny and the bed was uncomfortable for me . There is loud music from the bar in the ground floor.
