Beautiful house and garden, on site parking place, very tastefully arranged. Staff was very kind and helpful. When checking out, the colleague who checked us out asked explicitly what they could do to improve and remitted the parking fee since the air conditioning was not working properly. I very much appreciated that gesture!

Air conditioning was not working properly, the room was cool but not as cool as we would have liked. The breakfast is ok-ish but given my experience with other 5 star hotels I found it a bit absurd that you pay 30€ per person and then get a menu where standards at hotels in this class like omelette or fresh pressed orange juice at charged at quite extensive prices. Would suggest to go out and have breakfast in one of the many places close by instead.

There was no coffee machine (or kettle) in the room. Which is a standard for a 5 star hotel. The TV channels don't have a English speaking language channel. It was very difficult to find the hotel. It was a bit frustrating.

property is beautifully authentic. The food service was great both breakfast and dinner at their restaurant. Staff was very thoughtful and went out of their way to accommodate us for a few items. It’s a very charming boutique hotel and the service you get is impeccable.

location was outside of the historic center so everything was a long walk away. Room is very smaller I would recommend opting for one of their larger or superior rooms.

Overall, Dimora Palanca is a fantastic choice for a comfortable and memorable stay.

The hotel's location is convenient for walking to major sites, taking about fifteen minutes to reach them. However, the immediate surroundings can feel disconnected from the hotel's style and character. It takes a fifteen-minute walk to find something that matches the hotel's aesthetic, making it feel somewhat detached from the neighborhood.

The staff was very nice. And the design looked amazing and clean. Housekeeping is 10/10. The hotel makes you feel like you’re living in a regular house (and it was a regular house before) which is really nice and make you feel welcomed.

There’s no gym or spa. And since its a boutique hotel the door is closed at all times so when you arrive you need to ring the bell and wait for someone to open the door for you.

Good location, short walk to all the major sites. Small area for Car parking on site. Reception delightful and very helpful. Beautiful hotel. Bedrooms clean and well appointed. Bedding and bed comfort was exceptional. Good size en- suite bathroom. All you would expect of a 5 star hotel.

Waiter was daft but funny....there seemed a shortage of staff in this area which let the hotel down. Breakfast buffet was ok, unfortunately hot food was cold and more attention needs to be made to refilling the cooked breakfast salvers. A little disappointing as light lunch served in the garden courtyard was lovely.

Loved my stay, It was welcoming and intimate which is what I love about boutique hotels. The style and design of the property is stunning. Great location and I was able to walk everywhere. I liked the service at the restaurant as well. Overall the entire property is gorgeous, clean and quiet. It felt like a home away from home and I look forward to returning during my next visit.

They tried to charge me 50 euro for a car service to the hotel from the train station which is less than a 5 minute drive away. I didn't appreciate that as it felt extremely inappropriate and tried to take advantage of me. I followed my gut and took a taxi instead which cost only 8 euro.

The design and interiors are beautiful, staff is incredibly helpful and breakfast was great.

My only “negative” comment was we really struggled to get taxis back to the hotel at night (not the hotels fault) and often ended up walking and it’s a bit off the central locations.

Our stay at the Dimora Palanca was excellent in all respects. The rooms are modern and beautifully laid out. The room for our girls even had a jacuzzi in the room and an attached terrace. The hotel felt more like coming to your private residence than a hotel. The staff were very friendly and efficient and always on hand to assist. Nadia was instrumental in making sure we had a excellent stay in Florence. She was not only very enthusiastic in planning our trip but was also was super friendly and jovial. We would definitely like to visit Florence and Dimora again.

If there was one area for improvement it was the breakfast. However our server Luigi made up for that with his prompt and efficient service.

The property is absolutely stunning. It is so well located, far enough from the crowds but at the end of the avenue that takes you anywhere you want to go in Florence. The staff was very attentive, especially the restaurant and breakfast team. The garden is a delight and there is parking (a rarity for any hotel in Florence but was very useful to us since we rented a car to head to Tuscany after). I would recommend this place 1000%, best and pillows were perfect.
