The location was great, it took less than 1 minute to reach the cathedral from the street. In addition, it is about 8 minutes by walking to the train station. The room was generally clean. They also let us leave our luggage until we left Florence.

It has no windows. The room was clean, but there was a bad smell that we could not distinguish. When we examined it, we decided that it might be damp. In addition, there is an elevator when going home, but there is no elevator inside the house, so you have to carry your suitcase up 10-15 stairs.

Location couldnt be better, central to everything, 1min walk to Medici Palace, 1min to the Duomo and around the corner from san Lornezo Basicilla. Communication from staff was excellent easy check in/out. Room was excellent very clean and bed very comfortable. Will definitely stay again if revisiting florence!

Everything was great for us, but if you have mobility issues it may not be suitable for you. It is on 1st floor of building.

Excellent location, 5-10 minutes from all attractions. Happening town square as soon as you get out of the property.

The washroom facilities weren’t great. Water flow from the basin tap was very slow, warm water took a long time to come. Only 1 small handsoap and small bottle of shower gel was in the room for 2 nights stay, more could have been left to use as needed.

Very good location, almost in the middle of everything in florence. Room was renovated and very clean.

The daily room make up could be done better by changing the bed sheets and towels. To get to our room we had lots of stairs ;) not many though but for us with 4 luggage it was a bit of a challenge.

Our bathroom had a very bad smell the whole time. The last day we realized the trap valve Wasn’t closed properly and that was probably the problem so it could have been resolved had we known the issue.

The whole place was very clean. Also the room was very clean. The room was big and nice. The shower and the temperature of the water, perfect. It was easy to access from the train station Firenze S.M. Novella. Great location just 50 meters form Il Duomo di Firenze, and right in the center of the city. Close to all touristic spots. The most important positive aspect for me was that a women (I believe the owner) reached out to me via WhatsApp before our arrival and helped me with everything. The few times that I reached out to her she replied right away and in a very nice was always providing a solution. This was a massive positive aspect.

Something that can be improved was that I had to remind the person in charge every day to change the towels. Nevertheless he always did it and always with a smile. Also, even though they requested a credit card for the booking and I provided the card before I arrived, with a lot of anticipation, they charged me when I arrived which was confusing and I had to check my credit card log because the other hotels charged me in advance. And that was an expense that had to be taken care of after booking.

Very accommodating allowing us to leave our luggage prior to check in and after check out. Great central location. Big, comfortable room and bed.

Breakfast was a little disappointing- limited choices of some croissants (would stay without the breakfast option next time).

They don't have an elevator, it was a challenge if you have big and heavy luggage though a staff members helped us carry our other luggage going up and down.

The location of the property is superb, right by the Duomo and the staff are excellent. It’s worth booking just for that. its tastefully decorated with a table and tea making. We had a triple room which was nice and spacious.

The shower over the bath was nice and hot but the bath has a narrow base which made it tricky and slippery to stand in and get in and out of. It would be a lot better to just have a shower. It seemed like the bathroom had been renovated in part but the bath/shower was left as old. There was a mini fridge stocked with goods like a hotel with high prices but this is called a B&B so we expected a fridge we could at least put our own water in and a welcome bottle of water would have been well received given the heat. Our room also was at the back of the building with no outlook at all. The location made up for that though.

Booked at the La Spezia train station and walked down. Our first place staying in Italy and so we’re a little surprised at first by the way it worked but don’t let that get in the way. Great location, super friendly staff and she cleaned it every day. Highly recommend.
