The owners who will take the Hotel back. If you read these, these are good, sincere and hard work people who deserves to keep the hotel. Please give them a second chance, they deserve it!

For us, this hotel was truly a gem in Florence. We felt so lucky to have booked this place. My husband, who chose it on Booking, is a true treasure hunter! The location is excellent, with everything within walking distance. The view from the magnificent terrace was simply breathtaking. The hotel staff is exceptional—one of a kind! Our welcome on the first day was so warm; the manager greeted us and treated us like royalty. He provided us with many helpful tips and insights, even highlighting on a map the best places, nearby shops, food spots, and key tourist routes! Other managers throughout our stay were equally friendly and helpful. The room service was exceptional - A huge thank you to the entire housekeeping team for their outstanding work! Our room was clean, with fresh, pleasantly scented towels and linens. All hotel facilities, both in-room and in the lobby, added to the enjoyment of our stay. The hotel has a strong vintage vibe, which fit perfectly with the atmosphere of Florence. The staff was always available to help with luggage on the stairs. Each and every member of the hotel staff deserves a pay raise for their outstanding service!

Nothing! Many stairs and no lift was ok for us.

We had a lovely introduction of florence by Mr.Guiseppe. We will always remember the stories and him fondly. That was our best intro to any city of Italy! The room was comfortable and we had access to free Cappuccino,Juices throughtout the day. There were bakery items to eat in the morning and we were encouraged to store them as well! The location is just 300m from the duomo and there are lot of restuarants near to the hotel. The area is very safe and lively! All the staff are helpful and nice! The rooftop view is beautiful! The string light switch is there just next to stairs and it is always open! We enjoyed the Christmas market at Santa Croce which is quite close to the hotel. It is in the 3rd floor but they have free luggage pick and drop service till the reception. So no worries!

The staff were very welcoming and kindly insisted on carrying my suitcase up/down the three flights of stairs up to the hotel, and always happy to assist with any questions. There was coffee, tea, juice and water freely available to guests. I was very pleased that they actively encouraged guests to refill their water bottles. The room (deluxe single) was big enough for my needs and had a high ceiling which made it feel less small - though it was long and narrow in shape. There was a bit of noise (I assume from other guests) at night but not every night. The terrace is a particularly strong feature of the property with a lovely panoramic view over Florence. The hotel is also well situated only a 15-20 minute walk from the tram depot and train station.

I have no complaints about my stay. If I could suggest a small change towards becoming plastic-free, would be to find an alternative to the plastic-wrapped breakfast cornettos.

Centrally located and easy to get to all the attractions and great restaurants and bars. The staff/hosts were amazing, so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The wonderful staff carried our bags up the 65 steps without any fuss - very impressed and grateful after having dragged them through the streets from the station. Water, juice and coffee available all day. Mini-toiletries (no conditioner) available. Linen and towels very fresh and clean. Air conditioning was really effective and welcome. Great terrace where you can take your own drinks and snacks. Fantastic view! We weren’t concerned about not having a bar or restaurant as we just wanted a friendly and safe location to get our head down and rest after exploring the city and enjoying the fine and plentiful local restaurants and bars. Quiet location, no street noise in the room we were in.

It’s a little tired, the decoration is old, the curtains could do with a dust/clean. The bed throw was also a little musty. Some people won’t like the stairs, we’re an averagely fit 57 & 63 year old and managed the stairs well. So don’t be put off if you are able to get up and down stairs normally. You can hear other rooms toilets flushing, but doesn’t last long.

Central location, close walking distance from Duomo. Comfortable rooms. Beautiful rooftop space. And, most of all, the staff. Every person really invested time and attention and effort to make our stay amazing experience - and it totally was!

We somehow totally missed the description part saying that the hotel is located on the third floor of an old building with no elevator. I should admit that if we knew we most likely would not have booked it, with 2 senior people and a child in our group. However, the staff had its all so smoothly organized that we barely noticed those stairs and the rooftop space was a great reward.

Good location, clean and spacious room. The view from the terrace is stunning. They do provide coffee (only until 10pm) and juice and plain water throughout our stay which is a plus point. The only thing is there is no lift in the building so we have to climb up 4 stairs. The staffs were very kind and helpful to carry our luggages during check in and check out. Big thanks to them!

The terrace was fantastic. What a view. The room was very clean and comfortable. Marco on the front counter was amazing. He carried my little bag up those 67 stairs with consumate ease. When I went out for my first walk he came upstairs carrying two huge bags for the new arrivals. Quite a feat. On the street there were many choices for food and drinks.

When I booked with booking.com I selected the appropriate dates and hit the confirmation button. Then I received a message asking where I was because somehow I was expected a day earlier. There's something disappointing about that. The next two questions are also disappointing. My motto is less screen time. So what expectations am I supposed to have when I don't dig deep.

Where do I start! the staff are absolutely lovely: Lorenzo, Mario and Martes couldn’t of been more helpful, friendly and knowledgeable of the local area providing us with tips. We had breakfast on the terrace every morning, with beautiful views of Florence, this is a European breakfast so boiled eggs, cheese, meats and croissants 🥐 with coffee, tea, OJ or pineapple juice. The room was clean, and had good facilities with a comfy bed, was the best 3* we’ve stayed in, we will definitely stay again when visiting Florence! this hotel is in walking distance of everything in the centre.

not a complaint, more of an observation: The hotel is located on the 3rd floor of a residential building with no lift, so has a very authentic feel that we wanted for our visit, the staff help you with your bags on arrival and departure, however, if you struggle with stairs this may not be the place for you!

The room was clean, needs painting and showers need door replaced rust and deteriorating. The roof top area is not as described but had a wonderful view. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. There was no hot water the day we arrived but we were not told about this until we attempted to use hotbwater. We did receive a credit for the inconvenience.

The Wii-fi is very slow or not able to connect to at times.
