Hotel Eden is a good and convenient hotel near the center of Florence. The check in and check out were very smooth, and the staff is kind and helpful. A/C worked well and shower pressure was great. It is a great value if you want to be near the historical center - everything is easily reachable on foot. Also, lots of restaurants and bars nearby.

For the price, this hotel is good and clean - but you cannot expect more than basic furniture. Everything is functional but not fancy nor super comfortable. If you come by car, be aware that parking nearby is only in paid lots - around €20-25 per day. Overall, not bad - it is Florence after all.

The location was excellent, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the room and all of the common areas were cleaned to an outstanding level every day. When you book 1st class in trains, you often need hard copies printed to show your reservation. I would receive the email from Rail Europe and forward it to the hotel and the staff immediately printed it for me. The front desk staff and the maid who cleans the building makes this a desirable place to stay in the city of Florence Italy.

I couldn't get the safe to accept a password. The TV didn't work.

Location, location and location.5-7 minutes walk to Novella train station and tram.All our tours (Cinque terre and Siena/Pisa/San Gimignano meeting point within 7-8 minute walk from the room.Decent size room for 4 people and daily cleaning.Everything you need is within 1 minute walk or just outside the hotel.Duomo is 7 minutes walk too.We never have to use taxi including from train station to hotel with 1 large suitcase and 4 carryon bags and 2 bag pack.Overall this is an excellent value for the money and hotel staff was also very friendly and helpful. Need to go at 340 am to the airport and they called the taxi right away which came within 2 minutes. (FYI: Extremely difficult to book taxi 24 hrs prior especially if someone needs to go early in the morning to the airport.There is a direct tram service 5 minutes form the hotel but starts at 5 am.We also try to book private transfer which was expensive and again not available.So just call the taxi from the hotel prior to your departure with no hassle and try not to use the app taxi or reservation because they can cancel anytime).

No breakfast but it is not a must either as there are tons of places around to eat for breakfast anyway.

Our stay at this hotel exceeded all our expectations. The location was perfect, and the staff was friendly. The cleaning ladies took care of our nice-looking room every day, which was very convenient. The coffee and tea were included in the price, which was also a nice gesture.

Unfortunately, there was no breakfast available. Also, for particularly anxious individuals, it's worth noting that sometimes you can feel the vibrations of the metro in the room.

It’s 5-10 minutes walking from the rail station and 15 mins away from the Duomo, also 1 minute away from a bus stop, so by walking you can get to almost everywhere. Our room has a balcony so we can enjoy sunset and night breeze. The refrigerator downstairs is open to us too so we didn’t need to buy water while we stayed there.

The water pressure of toilet is low so we need to flush several times to clean. Bath water temperature is unstable.

Great location, room was really big and super clean, nothing special as interior or whatever but it didn't matter - it was soooo, so clean and the bed was the comfiest I've probably ever slept in. Bathroom was great size and also very clean. Had a working TV, some storage space, hairdryer was ok, you could use the iron at the bottom floor which was also convenient. It's close to stores and it's basically in the city center, the duomo is like a 5-10 minute walk. Would absolutely recommend!

Maybe the rooms could be a bit more decorated, ours had a painting that was gorgeous but it's a big room and with a high ceiling, maybe it could be given some more italian charm. That's nothing though, everything was absolutely great!

Central location. Close to train station. Easy access to all the major tourist attractions. The room was very clean. There was a lift to reach the floors. Double glazed windows kept the noise from the street to a minimum. The man who was on reception each afternoon (I can't remember his name) was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. I would recommend this hotel.

the location was close to where my daughter was staying . it was also close to center of Florence. the bed was comfortable, the bathroom worked well and the bathroom window had a screen which means air circulation without mosquitos. the tv worked well and the wifi was good. also had a small fridge in room which allowed me to store food.

Location was just right, within easy walking distance of the station and all of the sights. Lots of restaurants nearby. The staff were exceptional, very helpful and friendly.

It's a shame that breakfast is not available, but doing what the Italians do best and having coffee and pastries at a nearby cafe was perfect. There were two almost opposite.
