a bright , light , spotlessly clean and spacious room. good facilities, ensuite was great and the adjacent kitchen was handy for use of the fridge and kettle. room is very conveniently located on a street with shops, nearby railway station, markets and not far to walk for some of the main attractions of Florence. It's a loud part of a busy city. but the soundproofing on the windows was very good. ceiling fan was also a bonus. Staff very helpful and on hand for any information or queries.

Clean and spacious room; self check in; it was possible to leave the luggage there (although it's basically just put into a room where - in theory - every guest with valid door key number has access -> not sure if that's more of a security issue than giving it to a receptionist who also does not check IDs or anything else when you retrieve your luggage); nice staff; we were also allowed to use a toilet/bathroom after check out.

Loud at night (window do not close very well) and minor aspect: the room appears quite empty and therefor not very comfy.

The property is in a great location and very clean. Near the market and a 10 minute walk from S.M. Novella Station. My original booking through Booking.com was wrongly cancelled half an hour before I arrived. I was very anxious. The hosts would not take responsibility but Booking.com found me this alternative accommodation and Vanessa was waiting for my arrival. She is a great communicator.

On a busy road, so can be noisy at times.

The property was easy to get to from the train station. Our triple room was a generous size and there was plenty of hot water a available for us each to shower. Our host was very friendly and helpful, allowing us to leave our suitcases at the property after check out so that we could make the most of our last day in Florence before our evening train.

When booking be mindful that there is no lift. This was not a problem for us as we were able to carry our hand luggage up the two flights of stairs.

Lovely short stay in a convenient area Florence surrounded by bars, restaurants, leather markets and the amazing fresh food market around the corner. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage in the communal area until our room was ready. Super clean room and nice hosts!

Only downside was us dragging your suitcase up 2-3 staircases, not a deal breaker though!

Lovely spacious, clean room (no.2) in big old property, in keeping with the rest of Florence. It’s decor was simple but had charm. Great location, 5 minutes walk from the station. Great to have use of a kitchen, if required.

The host was in the lobby when we arrived and she was not particularly friendly or welcoming! It did not spoil my enthusiasm of final reaching Florence, a long-time dream fulfilled! The window was not large in comparison to the room, so the room was quite dark without the lights.

I like how close is it to the main attraction and how close to grocery store and also great trattorias. You can take tram and get down in the station and walk about 500m. The street is busy but you’re in a great place to explore tuscany. Just remember to pack light and be careful in front of MCD (beside the tram) bcs there’s a lot of people loitering. But overall the host is really helpful, responsive and nice. Totally recommend

Great place with kitchen and facilities. Central to the city and transport.

There is no elevator or escalator and we were on the 3rd floor. There was a lot of stairs and it was very difficult and uncomfortable to get our luggage to the apartment. There’s a terrible stench in the lobby that seriously needs addressing. It smells like an old drainage or sewerage system that needs replacing.

It is a great accommodation with its location, cleanliness and reliability. Our room was very large and spacious, the air conditioning worked adequately. There was always hot water, the toilet was very clean. There was a local market nearby. It was a place where we were very happy.

The room was very clean, it had its own bathroom which was quite comfortable. We did not have table and chairs as shown in the pictures. But there was a common area which you could use. Staff was friendly and the location was very good, near the train station and city center.

The common areas were quite messy and with no A/C so in summer it was very hot. It has no elevator
