The location was excellent. I liked the neighborhood. Good communication between the staff and I. Good shower with a fan in the bathroom! This is a challenge in a lot of places in Italy but not at Genesi. Great shower!! Daily room cleaning!!

Heritage building, had a bit of a smell to it. Very, very basic accommodations.

The hotel was clean. The owner contacted us and sent pictures of the hotel and explained the code system.

Since the room was cleaned prior to our arrival, you could smell bleach in the bathroom even in the afternoon. Also, the double bed were to singles pushed together.

Easy to check in and great location. Bed was comfortable and kept a nice temperature by the AC.

Bathroom was very small and not really suited to a family of three.

Our host provided clear instructions for accessing the property and we received a nice welcome at the hotel reception desk when we checked in. Ideal location in terms of the proximity of the main train station. The shared facilities were okay, with plenty of tea and coffee making options and a large shared fridge. Our room was a very good size and it had lots of storage space

There was a lot of outside noise at times, due to the close proximity of a main road and aged windows which seemed to provide almost no sound insulation

Our room and bathroom was clean, which was the most important thing for me. Since the size of the room wasn't that big our A/C was very useful in the hot summer time and was able to cool our room in minutes. The location of the hotel is really good, only a 10 minutes walk from the Duomo and other famous sights to see. There is a morning bakery and a local shop nearby which was a great help when we needed something asap.

Our room wasn't that big, but since we only went to the hotel for sleeping it was a great choice. If you're planning on spending more time at your room you might find it small in that case. Our bathroom didn't open from our room, so we had to go back and forth through the 'collective place' (kitchen), but we were alone the whole time in the apartment so it wasn't a problem.

Location was not bad to get around! Room was small but comfortable.

No elevator to your floor, not comfortable with all your luggage! Lots of mosquitos in the apartment so we got bitten a little. The smell in the staircase. For the price I would of stayed in a hotel. You share the main living area e:i kitchen. Rooms all around, when others get home late you hear them very loud! Shower very small.
