Good sized room for two people with lots of storing options for clothes. Room was on the side of a semi-busy street but windows kept the sound out well. Pretty good view from the second floor. Our room had old electrical sockets (3 pins), but our regular 2 pin chargers fit and worked no problem. The staff was very friendly and we were allowed to keep our bags in the reception area before we checked in and after we checked out.

Minor nitpicks but can't complain for the price and great staff.

As a solo traveler, I lived Florence two days and this hotel provided me the best experience of it, its perfect location around 8mins walk away from the central station surrounding with a nice park, varieties of restaurants and attractions. The professional work of the beautiful Chinese receptionist also impressed me very well. My room is spacious with comfortable bathroom and the large size bed garantiert my sound sleep as if staying home.

The only stuff dissatisfy me might be the breakfast they offer. Well it was not that bad but I hope there would be more improvements in the future.

Brilliant location, a short 10 minute walk from the train station (Firenze SMN) and just a 10 minute walk to the Duomo. The hotel is situated in a quiet area with a fabulous cafe/bar just across the road (Dolcesalato) which we went to each morning for fresh pastries & coffee. The room was clean with fresh towels everyday.

our room was at the back of the building near the courtyard & we had to keep the windows closed due to the mosquitoes.( there are nets at the window) there is aircon.

We recently stayed at St James hotel for a night, and it turned out to be a great choice. Our room was quiet and over-looked a park. The hotel's location was perfect, offering easy access to the city's action and being conveniently close to the train station((10 minutes walk). The value for money was impressive, considering the comfort and amenities provided. The check-in process was a breeze, thanks to the friendly staff. If you're looking for a convenient and affordable option for a one-night stay, this hotel is highly recommended.

Excellent location, no need to book cabs or take buses,teams etc. It's walking distance from the train station and all there is to see in Florence. Staff are very friendly and service is excellent. Our kids lost my wife's spectacles in the room somewhere but the cleaning staff found it for us and we collected it even after we had checked out.

Needs a renovation, but the staff know that and they are working on it from what I can tell.

The location was good and staff was kind and attentive. I was upgraded from a single to a double. With a heavy suitcase I took bus no. 1 back to the train station so there was even less lugging involved. I was happy about the elevator and quiet location of the hotel. Even though I stayed next to the reception it was quiet after 22:30 or in any case, my sleep was not disturbed. This was excellent value for money. Reception kindly held my backpack in a safe place after my stay. Room temp was good in early October and air conditioning would have been available.

The shower warmed up very slowly and had poor water pressure. No big deal.

We stayed two nights in a double deluxe room, which was modern and spacious, clean, well soundproofed and overall in very good condition. The room was equipped with a desk, a beautiful armchair, a fridge, a smaller wardrobe room (!) αnd a 4k TV with Netflix and YouTube! Also the bathroom was also really good. Stable WiFi, with 40 Mbps download and 20 Mbps upload speed, measured in room. The hotel is located very close to the center and a short walk (or a very short bus ride) to Firenze SMN train station. Top VFM hotel and highly recommended.

Elevator was efficient but could be bigger and better. Room has enough space for an extra table/furniture for the luggage.

Big spacious room and bathroom. Very big for a solo traveller, the biggest by far of all 3 hotels I have. For the value of money, I would recommend booking here for a soloist if you don't mind paying extra and needs your privacy with short stay.

I checked in the late evening, not easy to locate the hotel. A signboard will be nice. Had to leave my luggage at Hotel De Villa. Which was not an easy walk on the cobblestones. The distance to the train station from the hotel is quite a walk. But doable.

The optional breakfast was lovely. It was tasty and available for an extended time since we were jet lagged. The location was very good. It was in a fairly busy part of town but it was still mostly quiet. The staff was very courteous.

We had a pipe break in our room which forced us to evacuate rather quickly in the morning. It was no ones fault; an old building and these things happen.

The size of the room was realy good. The breakfast was ok, poor options, but it was value, cheaper then take at the street. The breakfast attendent was very nice, "molto simpatica". The hotel is located a walking distance from every turistic site of Firenze, mainly the Mercato, Piazza San Marco e Santa Anunzziata.

They did not changed our glasses during our stay.
