Plus Florence is listed as a hostel, but it exceeded BY FAR my concept of what a hostel is. It had 2 indoor common areas plus 1 outdoor; A bar; Indoor and outdoor pools; Coin-operated laundry facilities; A gym; A 2-tier terrace, and onsite breakfast options. Some floors also had vending machines with beverages and snacks. The facilities were safe. Parking is also offered at an extra fee, but limited in space, so book ahead. None of these I know about ahead of booking. =P We managed to book a private room for 2 (2 single beds, but we were able to just join them together) with a private bathroom. The room is small but very adequate for a short stay such as ours (2 nights). The shower was very nice, with adequate hot water and good pressure.

Nothing! Would be great if it was a bit cheaper.

Really spacious rooms and clean. They also provided fresh towels which is not the norm with most other hostels but much appreciated! Pretty quick walk from the Firenze SMN train station.

Elevator was next to useless so used the stairs most of the time. Had to pay to keep my luggage for a few hours at the property after checkout.

Location is the main reason for choosing it. I recommend the breakfast too, pretty good choice for the price.

Rooms are not so cozy. At your leaving, the storage of your luggage is payable.

There are two buildings, the front one is a hostel. The second building has private rooms. The location is excellent. You are about 15 minutes walk from most of the attractions. We walked everywhere for the week we spent there. There is an on site restaurant where we ate breakfast. It was 9 euro for a buffet breakfast, where you could help yourself. It was 4.50 for an Italian breakfast of juice, coffee and croissant. My husband is coeliac and they have gluten free croissants which they cook for you. He had the buffet breakfast and they cooked him two gluten free croissants daily. The rate for the stay was very reasonable. The room was large and airy. It actually had three beds in it. We pushed two together. The bathroom was beautiful. We are a retired couple and there were a lot of couples of varying ages and some families with children. The room had soap and other toiletries. There is also a swimming pool. There is one outdoors but the indoor one was open as it was October. There is also a sauna and other fitness equipment. They do evening meals also, but we ate out.

It would have been handy to have a kettle in the room.

I enjoyed the facilities: comfortable shower, a roomy closet for each resident (you may bring your padlock. Honestly, I left it open; girls were sweethearts in my room), and large enough room for 5. There was a lovely goodie bag with small toiletries and clean towels. I loved the common area, where there was a fridge, kettle, and microwave available for travelers. And they provided an open buffet breakfast for 9 euros, which I loved! Also, they had indoor and outdoor pools (I didn't use them) and a rooftop terrace. Overall, it is an amazing place for group and solo travelers.

During check-in, the receptionist took a photo of my passport with a cell phone without further explanation. When I asked about it (for obvious security reasons), he became overly angry, raised his voice, and threw several cell phones in front of me, trying to explain that this was a mandatory police registration. The pillow was not very comfortable. I used my travel pillow instead, and I believe it is something common in Italy (as I saw the same in other cities); there was no duvet cover. Instead, there were two flat sheets, which I didn't find very hygienic). The gym equipment was not extremely new. I tried to use the indoor bike, but it was rusty and didn't have a security wrap for the feet. So I couldn't use it. Also, there was also a treadmill and elliptical.

I really liked this hostel! Very big and very clean. Beds were very comfy and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was a good size pool and sauna which I didn't get to use as I was only there for 1 night. There was at least 5 washing machines and dryers which I needed at that point in the trip- quite expensive though, especially as I had to re-dry some items as they didn't dry enough the first time. There was a bar and a pool table which served food.

Washing machines and dryers were more expensive than I have come across. 5 euros to wash and 4.50 to dry. The bathroom in the dorm was big and spacious but after 1 shower it was flooded with nothing to mop up excess water. For one night it didn't matter though- remember some bathroom shoes and you will be fine!

1. Toilets were clean 2. Had my trip during winter and the good things is they dont have restrictions in using the heater. They also provided blanket which provided heating during the night. 3. Location was also good it was only a couple of mins walk from the center.

1. Late check-in and u have to pay for 3 eur for the luggage room. 2. Beds didnt have curtains which could have been more effective in providing privacy to the guests. 3. The room i was assigned to had only acvery limited no. of sockets. Beds didnt have sockets beside them which made them difficult for me to charge my devices.

The location is great, the bathrooms and toilets are refurbished, and well functioning. They are also cleaned regularly, so the hygiene is at a high level. I also liked a pool. The sauna near the pool is maybe a bit small, four people max, but it was hardly ever crowded. The terrace view is outstanding, because the Duomo and the Medici chapel is like on "the palm of your hand". Great place indeed!!

The beds are really bad, because their metal construction and the iron net supporting the mattress are terribly squeaky, so every movement of yours or of your roommates is extremely annoying!!

The room was a standard hotel sized room with a double bed and a bunk bed, and an attached bath for the 4 people in the room. The pool was nice with waves, open late, and had a sauna as well. The location was pretty nice as well, not right in the middle of the touristy zone, 15 mins walk from the station, and near some good restaurants.

The check-in could have been faster. There was a line and took some time. My room was in the second building, behind the main building of the hotel. The kitchen, pool and reception all were in the main building, so needed to put on a jacket to brave the cold to walk to the main building.

Room and bathroom in good condition and clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower gel was included.

Many secret costs ( if u want another towel 3€, lock 4€). No kitchen facilities. No free coffee/tea like in many hostels. Staff was always busy and not friendly.
