Staff very accommodating and breakfast was tasty. Public patio for breakfast overlooking the Duomo so beautiful and tranquil.

Opened the window one night and got bit at least 20 times by mosquitos then they were in our room the rest of our stay.

Unfortunately, I was sick during my stay but the staff were lovely and very kind to me. The room was well set out and the bed was very comfortable. The view from the communal balcony was incredible, even if I didn't get much of a chance to enjoy it. The location is perfect, right next to the train station and near the main tourist attractions.

It can be easy to walk straight past the entrance the first time you arrive so you have to check the instructions on how to find it before you arrive.

Relais Luce Florence is a small, well-run bed & breakfast hotel in the city of Florence. It is conveniently located - literally a stone's throw from the main train station. The building has a lot of charm, with old elevators and thick walls, keeping city sounds out. It also has beautifully painted ceilings and plenty of space. The inside of the bed & breakfast itself is outfitted in a modern and fresh manner. It is also clean and bright. My two favorite aspects of my stay were: 1. the staff - I believe it may be family run(?). The staff are so lovely and friendly and helpful. The were most welcoming and accommodating (we were late arrivals). 2. The breakfast - everything you could ask for in a continental breakfast - fresh, wide selection of warm and cold foods, juices, etc - all served to the table. In addition, access to the balcony allows for beautiful view of the Basilica di San Lorenzo and the surrounding area.

Delightful stay, I sincerely have no complaints. I hope to see you next time I am visiting Firenze!

This hotel was a real joy. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, the rooms are beautiful, and the accommodation is located within walking distance (less than 15 minutes) of the major sights. The view from the terras is breathtaking. While breakfast is not normally included in the booking, it is available for a very reasonable price - just fill in the breakfast for and hand it to a member of the staff, or leave it on the reception desk. A number of very tasty options are available, including fresh fruit, boiled eggs, toast, yoghurts, different drinks, etc.

No notes, I have already recommended this hotel to others, and would do so again.

great location right by train station and within 15min walk everywhere. staff were very friendly with providing things to do and restaurants to go to, as well as the breakfast each morning was really great! natural light in the room and lots of space, and updated facilities in the bathroom. the terrace was a lovely area to have breakfast and sit outside with drinks in the evening. even by the train station and Main Street it was very quiet and could not hear any traffic

Located a few minutes walk from main train station with clear instructions on locating the hotel as it is inside a big building. Was celebrating our wedding anniversary and was surprised that the staff gave us a welcome gift. The Santa Croce room comes with a private terrace/balcony which is much appreciated. Wifi is stable and fast. The room is clean and has a modern/minimalistic theme with open concept wardrobe. First time to encounter a toilet with twin rain showers as well. Staff was courteous, friendly and helpful, especially with restaurant reservations. Much thanks to Elena, Maddalena and Stefano for making our wedding anniversary a memorable trip. We opted for breakfast in the room and enjoyed the view from the private terrace. Recommended!! and will stay here again on our next trip to Florence.

Since this a B&B, the reception is only on duty from 7:30am to 6:30am. If your room is located on the second floor, you will need to carry your bags up a short flight of stairs.

Great location close to train station (within 5 mins) and the old town highlights (within 7-15 mins), helpful staff, nice clean room, great shared patio with an amazing view.

Breakfast was good but could be improved. Its a pre order format , not self serve buffet and was not too the same food standard quality or options as the other hotels we stayed.

This is a great property right in front of the station. I have mostly seen B&B's struggle with spaces but the rooms were spacious (large bathroom), the outdoor space is great to have breakfast or enjoying the views of Duomo while sipping wine. The hosts are very warm and served us great breakfast. Would highly recommend this property to anyone. Consider yourself lucky if you its available for your dates.

Super friendly staff, very organised, lots of information on arrival and huge list of local recommendations in the room. Beautiful and big room, comfy bed and great facilities. Breakfast was amazing on the terrace overlooking the duomo and also very generous (not just a cornetto). Very close to the train station so you don’t have to struggle with your bags across the city, and an elevator once inside. Easy walking distance to everything in Florence. Wish we could of stayed longer, fantastic and would highly recommend.

Fabulous location. A five minute walk from the train station, so perfect for travellers taking the train. The room was modern, with good A/C and a step out onto the wonderful balcony view. Every morning you wake up to a stunning view of the Duomo while you have your breakfast. Stefano, Madalina and Elena are all friendly and go out of their way to help you with anything you need. I am gluten/lactose-intolerant and they provided many options for me to eat. The balcony provides a great space for solo travellers to meet the other guest's and have good conversation. The BnB is nearby several Gluten-Free restaurants. I will definitely return as I had such a wonderful stay here.

I found a few mosquito's in my room I had to kill -- not unexpected for Florence but still a bit annoying. The mattress was a bit too firm for my liking, didn't seem to be memory foam.
