Breakfast was not included, so we chose a budget option of buying yoghart and fruit from the supermarket down stairs. Nice to have large hand pumps of shampoo and soap, good for environmental concerns. Very easy to locate, access was easy, fast lift. Very close all facilities on foot, supermarket, rail and outlying areas. Walking distance to all attractions.

Power points were dodgy, difficult to plug in the international plug, and their jug plug. It was quite noisy witg doors open and a little stuffy with doors closed. No control over aircon.

Most Friendly Host! Lovely food and espresso. Beautiful and clean room. Convenient to main train station. and pleasant to be able to store luggage when arriving at an off time.

It was a convenient location near the train station for the next destination. It was a fairly easy walk to most of our site seeing locations. The room was warm and cheery. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay.

We could have used better directions on our arrival on how to access the hotel which was on the third floor of the building. It did have an elevator though very small so often we had to walk up three flights of stairs. The breakfast was offered but was an additional 8 Euros.

Hotel Berna is within a few steps from the train station which I used to come in late from Venice and leave two days later to Rome which made it very convenient. It is within walking distance of all the attractions and very safe. Although the room is not luxurious it is comfortable. However, the best part of Hotel Berna, is its staff. Extremely friendly and accomodating. A super special thank you to Nadia who came back to the hotel after hours to release the stored luggage when our tour was extremely late. Nadia you saved my trip!

the hotel is central 5 min walking from station . There are 4 bed and breakfast in same building . they offered free breakfast thanks to booking.com .

the lift is very old if someone leaves the door open you have to go up 4 floors to close it and send it down . ideally there should be someone down to manage this part . it was sad how much we pay and then we go into the smallest lift three floors . i got stuck and go out somehow pls be careful/

Excellent location. You can visit Firenze main attractions on foot. Firenze central station is on the other side of the road. The room was clean and cosy. The bathroom is big enough for couples. You can enjoy a cup of tea in your room as well. The breakfast was great (you can eat croissants, fruit, yogurt, cereals, french toasts, and drink capuccino's/ american coffee as well.).

Well, not a problem but, if you want your room clean you have to put the notice on the doorknob.

Excellent for what we needed. Right in the heart of the historic city a stone's throw from the central train station & the staff couldn't have been more helpful. In particular in recommending the San Lorenzo market for a variety of cuisine which was extremely helpful on our 1st night. Also we wanted an early start to see the city sights before we left & the staff were fantastic in storing our luggage until we returned to head to the train station. Would definitely recommend.

Our family of four very much enjoyed the clean accommodations at Hotel Berna. The air conditioning worked well and was a relief after a hot day. Nadia was very helpful- providing a map and suggesting different places. Duomo was beautiful, we also loved the Food Market- Mercato Centrale. Wonderful place to go and eat with many options and delicious food! The hotel is 1/2 block from the Train Terminal (Firenze Termini). Easy to walk to.

I liked the staff, the B&B vibes and the location. We didn’t spend a heap of time in the room since we were using it as a base for enjoying the Florence area but definitely was comfy and homey enough for us :) And don’t forget to close the lift doors - eek!!! Still feel bad about being so tired I forgot on my first day.

Not that I didn’t like it but just good to be aware that since it’s more B&B vibes, there is more noise than a traditional ‘hotel’.
