The hotel location is perfect in the center of florence.the hotel is very clean the service is amazing the front desk are very helpful and they speak English, Mr Oneste the manager very efficient you see him every where he also looks after the breakfast buffet, the ladys who serve breakfast are very happy to help Habiba, Silvia and Beatric working hard to please the guests they are always smiling I wish them good luck. We stayed ten days and wish to stay more thanks to the good manager Mr.Oneste and to the staff of the hotel.

Best location ever for a city break. Couldn’t have been more central. Would definitely recommend. The beds were comfortable and room had air conditioning which was great after tracking around in the heat. The staff on the desk and at breakfast were excellent. Especially Raymond. He recommended and booked some fantastic restaurants . He also arranged our day trip and taxis. Also another lovely lady on desk on other days but didnt get her name. All staff were polite and couldn’t do enough for you. The cleaning staff and breakfast staff were exceptional. Breakfast had a lovely choice of food and endless supply of latte macchiato, cappuccino at your request.

Bathroom a little small. Couldn’t fit two people in at once. Also shower over bath was difficult to use as bath kept filling up as shower was on and went over floor if positioned too high. Also thermostat on shower kept spiking so had to be careful with temperature setting. Also could hear everything outside including cleaning staff and vacuum. However this was only minor and didn’t really bother us. The positives far outweighed the negatives.

Location is right in the middle of everything, down the street from the Duomo in one direction, Palazzo Vecchio in the other direction. Windows look out over a main shopping thoroughfare so there's great people-watching. One of our two rooms had a large bedroom with a bathroom that was up a small flight of stairs, the other was a smaller, more traditional bedroom and bathroom but both were bright and airy. Breakfast is in a very pretty dining room on the first floor and has loads of fresh pastries and other options.

The air-conditioning was a bit iffy while we were there (and it was 100F during the stay, so completely necessary) but after fiddling with it a bit it worked ok. In the larger of the two rooms, there was a slight mildew smell when the circulation fan was turned on full so we turned it down a bit, making the room a little warmer but not as musty. The rooms were also in a main hall near the central stairway and were not soundproof, so we heard people going through the halls consistently as well as someone's dog barking incessantly in a room down the hall. Thankfully, the staff was very responsive in handling the dog situation (we were not the first people who complained after it had barked without stop for hours and late into the night).

Staff very friendly & helpful. Location was amazing. Room was quiet considering you are in the heart of the main part of Florence. Within easy walking distance to everything - 10 min max. Uffizi & Duomo less than 5 min walk. Air conditioning was great considering it was over 100 degrees outside. Nice breakfast included. Cute boutique hotel!

Rooms on the smaller side but not abnormal in Italy & still very comfortable. Elevators close suddenly - just be careful with smaller kids. Water in shower was hard to regulate - room 408. Minor things considering you are in the heart of everything.

The location was excellent and we had a fabulous big room. The staff were very helpful.

The only thing I would stay is that the first morning it was bedlam as far too busy for the size of room. Besides the noise level, we sat the full time we had breakfast surrounded by dirty dish. The staff were working hard but it was just to busy. I would suggest introduce some booking system on busy days such as book between 9-10 like the other hotel did on our stay in Bologna.

The hotel is central, only minutes away from all the historic sites, and on a busy shopping street. The rooms are beautiful, modern and spotless, the staff very helpful. We were able to check into our room when we arrived, an hour before check in was scheduled. The hair dryer in our room wasn't working and we a replacement immediately from reception. This is my third time staying here - I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Florence!

It wasn't a problem for us but the hotel is on a busy pedestrianised shopping street, so keep that in mind when booking.

Excellent location. Cannot boast about the location enough. We were in the superior room and was amazed at how large and comfortable the rooms were. Probably the largest hotel room I’ve stayed in in Europe. Property was great overall and I’d probably stay here again.

My one complaint is that the shower had mold and smelled like sewage. The bathroom while very clean is kind of outdated so it has a smell to it. That’s all.

Great location and breakfast. Even though the location is right in the center of Florence, you couldn't hear any noise from the streets. The room size was adequate for 3 people. Nice to have complementary water when the days were very hot.

Only issue was that our room was next to an area that was used by the hotel employees and it was noisy very early in the morning.

Everything! It’s right in the centre of Florence and only steps away to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. The breakfast was perfect and even offered Gluten Free bread. The rooms were clean, comfortable and a good size for traveling with suitcases. We highly recommend this hotel!

Location was perfect, 250 meters away from the duomo! which was even visable from our window! what a fantastic view! The only down side is that there are no parking facilities nearby. the hotel solves this perfectly by having your car parked elsewhere for a very modest fee! the staff was most helpful. very good and friendly. Breakfast was the only thing that was not to the same high standard, still fine but the bread was hard. this is easily overlooked considering the rest of our experience. If we ever go back to Florence, we will definitely come back to this hotel!
