Great place to stay for a couple nights, especially when you are visiting nearby attractions (cinque terre, portofino). 3 minutes walk from train station. We had a room on 4th floor with exceptional view. Cheap breakfast. The lady at the reception desk speaks great english. Since it's near train station the buses are of great frequency and it's easy to get everywhere.

It is rather far from any beaches since the hotel in industrial part of the city (1hour by foot to the nearest beach or 15minutes by bus). It can be loud because of the train station. Breakfasts are rather boring, no warm food of any kind, just bread, jams, cheap ham, cheap cheese, coffee and juices. Rest of the staff at reception desk (besides the lady) is either very rude or can't speak a word in english or both.

Clean & very close to train station which was handy when arriving & leaving. Also close to many restaurants & the waterfront.

No kettle in my room so couldn’t make a tea or coffee to have in the room. Also the bathroom needs a little table to put your toiletries on, there’s nowhere at all in the bathroom to put stuff. The bathroom was spotless snd huge though the shower was very compact.

Great location right next to train station Genova Piazza Principe. Open access to balcony on the top floor is a nice touch. Friendly staff.

great position perfect actually a few steps from piazza principe station and the piazza too the staff or owners not sure are great very friendly and nice and thanks for preparing my room so fast sorry i arrived a bit too early i have slept well really i dont know about the breakfast because i have left at 5 am thanks again to all the staff antonio

Hotel was easy to reach and is near a station. Price per night was really good. Rooms were cleaned properly. Staff was friendly.

Hotel itself is pretty old, so many things near broken and musty smell in the hall (not in room). Beds and pillows were uncomfortable. Bathroom was quite small (but did contain everything I needed).

The location in particular is excellent - literally a couple of minutes from the train station. Exit the station, look up to your left and you can see the hotel straightaway. The room was clean and tidy - no frills - and overlooked the railway platforms and the city It was quiet throughout the stay Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice of food and a very clever hot/cold drinks machine

The balcony terrace was locked unfortunately

I liked how friendly and helpful the receptionist was. They let me lock my bike in a secure backyard and helped me in when it was raining and I had loads of luggage on my bike.

It is up a steep hill, but has a nice view therefore. It looks all a bit outdated, but it is cheap.

Location right next to the train station and cruise terminal (watch the ships from the lovely roof terrace) Very friendly reception and cleaning staff, the lady at reception spoke perfect English

The surroundings of the hotel might make some people feel uncomfortable (nothing the hotel can do about it) The hotel and room interior are tired

Location is superb to reach the old city as well as the main station. The room was well arranged for a single type. There is a great view from the terrace. The stuff was friendly and supportive.

Liitle too noisy, but it was expected, the hotel is next to the train station, just above the lines. The shutting of the window solved the problem to a bareable limit.

The location near the station is perfect for an overnight stay. It is also walking distance from the Old Town and near shops and restaurants. The lady at the reception gave me a good recommendation for a local restaurant which was very good.

The hotel is quite old and barely maintained but it does the job for one night. Very basic stuff throughout but in working order.
