Excellent location, within walking distance from all the points of interest and from the Piazza Principe train station. It's on the second floor, with elevator, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and squeaky clean, with large windows overlooking the street called Via Balbi. The hotel offers no breakfast but there is a good bar just next door, so very convenient.

The whole place is old and it shows: the shower cabin was damaged, there were missing screws here and there, etc. But the price is very good and the place is clean, so... They won't give you a key for the main street door, so every time one has to ring the bell. However the owners will answer in seconds, so not a big deal. (I think they do it for security)

don’t let the look of the place trick you - it’s not the a modern looking place but we had a great stay. we had the opportunity of chatting a bit with them and they are really genuine people, devoted to their little business. the owners were really nice and accommodating. the room was immaculately cleaned everyday and bed made. the place is quite central, just down the road from the station (literally 2mins walk) and around 10mins walk from city centre.

prior booking we didn’t know about the city tax to be paid -€1.50 per person per night - not that it was expensive or anything, just it would have been nice being informed beforehand. also, the ac is against a daily payment of €3 for half day or €5 for full day - we opted to have it for the night (half day) as during the day we were usually out and about. again it would have been better if we had known beforehand. bathroom might need some update ax there were cracks in the tiles and shower cubicle.

The staff is very kind and friendly. The location is perfect. We like our stay in the hotel very much!

The only thing that maybe be improved that there is no keys from the outside door. So every time you should to disturb the hosts to come in.

It was a lovely stop over for us. Check in was easy enough. Old style hotel where you leave your keys at the reception upon leaving but the staff were always around to help. It was 3 euro for airconditioning which is fine. Bed was huge. Staff allowed us to leave our luggage in the dining room until our train arrived.

The staff there was nice and helfpful. They gave us very good recommendations for places to have dinner late. The location is unbeatable and the 24 hour reception works fine. The room was very clean.

The furniture and the facilities in general are old, it needs some work of redecoration.

The people working there where really nice and they even opened us the door in the nighttime after we were partying in the city at around 5 in the morning. The place is really near to the city center and you have a busstop right at the entrance.

Not air-conditioned

Situated in city center near real life of non indigen people. We can park bycicle over night in the breakfast area. Hosts are very attent.

room keys are almost the same for all rooms. but we feel there like in family

Friendly owner with a good sense of humour. The room & en-suite bathroom were both clean and tidy.

It was a little noisy outside, but that’s to be expected from a city hotel.
