Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was not so great for visiting the local town, but was well-placed for getting back on the main route towards Genoa easily at the end of the stay and the latter was important to me on this occasion. Parking arrangements were convenient, as was the 24-hour access to the hotel. The breakfast was good, especially the home-made pastries and brioche. The room was quiet and had a pleasant view and the hotel had a quiet, green location. The free wifi worked well. The price was not expensive so I consider it was good value for money.

The room was quite small and the bed also small and a slightly hard for my taste, but I didn't expect a huge room for the price I paid and I got to sleep ok. If you want to look at la Spezia, it is a little bit out of the way from the town (don't expect to just walk in), but it didn't matter too much to me (I did drive in though, to have a look at it).

Very friendly and helpful staff. From the very beginning, we were informed at the reception with all the necessary information regarding visiting the Cinque Terre villages. They also recommended us to visit Porto Venere, which otherwise we would not have visited and it was wonderful. They advised us where to park the car in La Spezia to be close to the port and the train station. The hotel had a really rich, tasty and varied breakfast. The room and all areas of the hotel were very clean. Fresh towels were also changed in our room every day.

The staff are absolutely amazing told us everything we needed to know where to go and how to get there the most affordable and easiest way. The location is get only 30 minutes from Porto venere and 9 min drive from the train station. The parking is great, breakfast was great we had a awesome experience would highly recommend it.

Nothing is was perfect in our eyes

It was really nice and calm, relaxing stay. They have single rooms for solo traveller. I really like the atmosphere of the town and hotel. It’s a bit far from the city, so it has been perfect place to relax. I also enjoyed breakfast. There is nice pizza place nearby, that pizza was so delicious. Definitely recommend here.

If you don’t have a car, it would be a bit difficult to get there. Since i didn’t drive a car, i got on local bus departing from la spezia staion. That bus doesn’t run very often, so you need to check the time table.

The staff was extraordinary. Very friendly and super helpful! The breakfast was really good for Italian standard. The parking situation is very well organized too. We stayed here to visit Cinque Terre. It's easy to take the bus down to La Spezia. Also good dinner options around the hotel. We loved the Pizza on the other side of the road.

You can tell the hotel is already up and running for quite a while. However, it's well kept and clean.

Staff is very friendly and overall full of valuable advice. Exceptional self-service-all-you-can-eat breakfast. I would re-visit the hotel for going to the Cinque Terre even though I was not really aware that, despite the location says La Spezia, the hotel's location is not near the centre at all, and up in hilly side (... for good and for bad).

Bathroom (shower) is very small.

Delightful family-run hotel since 1921 manages to maintain its own elegant style of times gone by. Very helpful friendly staff. Take a few steps around the corner to see the view over the bay and then through a bar to have a delicious pizza at the Pizzeria La Foce. Perfect overnight stop on our way driving south.

The history of the hotel being soo old. The breakfast was basic but good.The hotel was saved by its close proximity to a fab bar restaurant across the road.

This hotel is €25 in a taxi out from La Spezia. The bedroom was very small. There was no proper bar service and no food available.

The hotel is on the top of the hill, in an area with great vegetation. The hotel has a retro style inside that we have enjoyed. Very clean, the staff very friendly and great breakfast. Close to the hotel downside there is a nice local restaurant with tasty fish and seafood. The view over the city and the seaside is troumendous from here. Also at the restaurant we have enjoyed the nicest white wine ever called Vermentino. We hope to return here someday.

Everything was perfect!

The Staff at the hotel was very service minded. A very good experience! Having the terrasse available to use was good. Nice arena for an evening walk allso.

Did not check good enough about the location for the hotel. Thought it would be closer to the City center so had to take the bus every day. But okay anyway
