We really enjoyed staying at Hotel Auriga - the location was perfect, as we had a train the next day from Milano Centrale. Checking in was quick and easy, the room was spacious and good black out blinds, a fantastic temperature, and lots of space to put our travel cot for our 20-month old. The breakfast was basic but didn't lack in anything we needed, had lots of options for the kids too. The staff were excellent throughout - I accidentally forgot a necklace at the hotel room which has a lot of emotional value. When I called the hotel a few days later, they informed me they had found it and kept it, and offered to post it to my address which they did very promptly and they even covered the expense. This was much appreciated!

it takes only 10min. walk from Milano cantrare station. Very convenient. Hotel staffs are very kind. It's very rare to find a room with bathtub in Milan. We could enjoy to take a bath after came back from sightseen for every single night.

Perfect location for the station and only a 30min walk to the duomo. Spacious room and comfortable room. Excellent showers with good selection of complimentary toiletries.

There was a lack of plug sockets in suitable places. In the main room unless you unplugged the tv, fridge or lamp there wasn’t a free socket. Only free sockets were by the door and in the bathroom.

The location of the hotel was perfect for us, it was near the train station so a short walk which was ideal. There was a lift at the property which made it easier for us to take our suitcases to our rooms. The hotel was clean, looked professional and the staff were friendly and helpful with a good sense of humour. They were welcoming and explained how things worked very clearly. They were also flexible and accommodating to our needs.

The doors to the rooms were a bit tricky and took a while for us to get used to how to use them to open the doors, we got there in the end! It would be good if they could make clear if they do vegan options for breakfast.

I booked here because it was close to the train station and I expected to be arriving by train. I arrived by car instead so I do not know how easy it is to get to the train station. However, I would consider staying here again. The rooms were adequate for a single person. They had a friendly bar and the breakfast was acceptable. The staff was helpful. For business, this looks like a good place to be.

I did have an issue with the elevators and since I had a large suitcase ( I was in Europe for two weeks and had many stops), I did not want to get it down the steps. It took a long time to get down and I had to call for assistance. In the end, this was minor and they sent someone up and I had a taxi waiting for me to go to the airport.

The location was good considering our needs - we needed to be near the train station, and that's the nearest you can get, it's really easy to roll your luggage and it's a 5min walk. But I wouldn't say it's the best location for other purposes - even though the same train station has a subway station that can get you wherever you want. The room is ok, regular size. The staff is nice and the breakfast is good. Room service is great and the cocktails are delicious!

The shower was not great, with low water pressure and a very small tub with a rounded bottom that you can't stand with your feet straight to the ground (and I'm a small person with small feet). So not a great showering experience overall. Apart from that, nothing to complain about.

Location was a huge plus. So close to the train station we could see it but not hear it. Fantastic. Staff was super efficient and kind, and all spoke English. No unsavoury characters usually associated with hotels near train station. Felt super safe walking at night. Plenty of good restaurants and cafes on both sides of the hotels, Chinese food as well. Oh and they are a lot cheaper than Italian food, more than half their price. Local transport by trams and metro to the hotel are aplenty so don't have to walk a lot from all attractions. But you do need to know the right stop. Ask Mr Google. Overall our stay in Hotel Auriga was a great start off on our month long Italian vacation and we're just pleased we got off to a great start. Small and dated design. Kettles, safe and WiFi was broken but it was fixed very quickly. Great staff there.

Excellent location for those who value being close to Milano Centrale train station. Also, very good buffet breakfast, with a lot to choose from.

Carpets are a little outdated, but it is fair to say that there was absolutely no mold, of smell of it. The room and bathroom were perfectly clean. Also, the bath tub could be replaced with a much better (and less slippery) shower stall. That said, bath tubs are still commonplace in hotels throughout Europe.

The facility is an old but interesting experience to enjoy old buildings in Milan. It is so convenient to use public transportation, and Milano Centrale station is only 200m away. Someone stole my mobile phone on the way from the airport bus stop to the hotel. All the effort the hotel staff helped me would not be forgotten for the rest of my life. It was a serious problem for me to stop my journey, but they listened to me and gave me courage. Handsome and so much versatile Roberto, so gentle Antonio, and always good listener John... You guys are my strength to continue this my lifetime experiences. Thank you, guys.

Location to train station was exceptional. Beds were comfortable and room was very quiet. Breakfast was very good value. Lots of choices.

On the first night we were on the top floor (6th floor). The Air conditioning was. It working well. The next three night the management. Over us don to the 5th floor and the AC worked a lot better. The wireless service was not very strong on the fifth floor room we had which was on the end of the hotel furthest from the elevators. Hot water was a bit in short supply in the early evening.
