The room and facilities were up to standard and provided very comfortable accommodation. As opposed to the other Boutique style hotels we stayed at in France and Italy this one had very efficient A/C and even though the temperatures were setting records in the area, this room was very comfortable. My credit card was lost in Paris and so I called and locked the card. Unfortunately Booking.com cancelled my room reservation two days before I arrived and sent an email to my home address which I could not access in Europe. The concierge at Milano Melia (Alice) was very helpful and managed to find another room for us. The price could not match the original booking price but we were glad to get a room as our family was staying at the Melia. The buffet breakfast and dinner at the hotel were good value and quite delicious.

Unfortunately I only stayed for 1 night, not much for a super review. The choice of hotel was based on location, as I was passing through the city and needed to be close to the central train station (Milano Centrale), which was great as it was just a few steps away on foot. Even at the station there is now a gastronomic area with several restaurants and bars, which were all open, as I went in August, most of the restaurants I tried to book were closed due to the holidays. The room is super spacious with a great shower (just be careful as the shower box is made of glass, in the middle of the room, depending on who you are with, it can be uncomfortable).

Very friendly and helpful staff both on reception and in the restaurant, 24 hour reception made our early checkout for our train really straightforward and efficient, nice touches like the complimentary refreshments in the room and bao buns on arrival. We stayed in 207 - Room was large, modern, very clean and a comfortable space to relax in, with comfy robes and slippers provided as well. Excellent that the tv supports casting. Lovely strong shower with nice toiletries provided. Excellent air con to keep cool during the heat. Location is perfect to staying close to Milano Centrale (5-10 min walk at most) and also very well connected, close to multiple metro stations. Easy to get to sites like the duomo and Navigli district from here. Many nice restaurants closeby - we ate at La Fattoria further down the street and would highly recommend. The bar/restaurant area was very nice and looked great if you were here for business as well, with multiple plug points/spaces for individual travellers as well.

We didn't have breakfast here as it was 20 euros each a day on top of the room rate, which seemed expensive. However, appreciate that how much people are willing to pay for breakfast is subjective.

Great location, good breakfast, nice room, if anything to criticize then the parking which costs 30€ and is a nightmare to get in and out with the car as well as afterwards to get to the reception (elevator was broken, no alternative then walking up the ramp)

It is teddy and cozy room, close to Central Station. The staff on reception are very professional, feel yourself at home among your family. I would like to appreciate the Hotel Management and special/ big thanks to “Ray, Alice, Carmen and Alicia” the bee’s team 😃. definitely, I’ll get back to same hotel once I visit Milano.

Our stay was fantastic we got coupons for complimentary drinks upon arrival . Location was great, just around 7 minutes from Milan Central Station, and same for metro, which was just few stops to the center. The area felt very safe, also market was near by. Room was big enough with huge windows. But the highlight of our stay were breakfast, absolutely incredible all hand-made, fresh and so TASTY. Me with my partner, enjoyed so much! We didn't spend so long on breakfast during our trips ever, but we just couldn't leave! The breakfast area felt also cozy and it was not crowded. If we are back in Milan we would definitely stay again. Also the lady around bar I guess manager, she was very sweet and gentle, wish if I asked her name.

Breakfast was really poor. It’s the only reason I gave the overall rating as 8/10, otherwise it would have been 10/10. Lack of breakfast options and nothing really tasted good. Probably one of the worst breakfasts I have been offered from many hotels. If I stayed again i would not opt for breakfast.

Location is ideally situated close to the central station and underground trains. The staff makes you feel welcome at all times. The complimentary drinks in the fridge is a bonus. Very comfortable bed, desk and facilities.

A kettle in the room would be nice, even if it is only by special request. Travelers from African countries have to make do with a enormous exchange rate due to a weak local currency. This makes the stay very expensive and one needs to limit the number of nights as a result.

This was my second time in this hotel and I got the upgrade to the ‘studio’ room in the 11th floor so please bear that in mind. It is just plain awesome. The room is extremely confortable with lots of amenities and a killer view. The staff is delightful, especially Lorenzo at the front desk and Carlo at the restaurant. .

The rooms on the 11th floor fixed my one and only issue with this hotel - the bathroom noise that leaks in from the nearby rooms. This particular room did not have this - or any other - issue.

The location was very convenient - it was easy to travel around Milan by taking buses, metro, and trams, or to travel to the airport or other cities by train. The hotel was clean and tidy, making it a good choice for business travelers. One nice touch was the clothing mirror in the room, which made you look slimmer than in real life and gave a boost of confidence. The hotel also offered a complimentary mini-bar with various types of drinks, which was a nice added bonus. On New Year's Eve, we had dinner at the hotel's restaurant and were treated to a 6-course meal for 80 euro. The meal included complementary fruit (orange and grape) and an Italian traditional dish Panettone and lentils , and it was well worth the value.

One issue we encountered during our stay at the hotel was that the WiFi required login with a Twitter or Facebook account. As I don't use either of those platforms, I had to register for a new Twitter account in order to access the WiFi, which was a bit troublesome. Another minor issue was that the bathroom was relatively small - although the basin, shower, and toilet were separated, only one person could use the facilities at a time because the shower had a glass door and the space was very limited. Despite these minor issues, however, we still had a great stay at the hotel and would consider staying there again in the future.
