The location is perfect for staying in Monopoli and close enough to free parking to make it a great location for exploring Puglia further. Riccardo was very helpful throughout our stay and went above and beyond. He messaged us before we arrived with parking instructions and gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat in Monopoli. He even helped set up a surprise in the room for my girlfriend's Mum with balloons and Prosecco for her birthday!

It would have been nice to have some tea and coffee facilities in the room.

Riccardo is an amazing host. We travelled by train and he picked us up from the station and took us back when we left. His knowledge of Monopoli and Puglia is fantastic and he is available every day if you have any questions or are wanting recommendations. Excellent breakfast where you could have savoury or sweet or a mix of both including delicious warm pastries, mixed deli products and fresh fruit. Superb coffee. A 50m walk to the beach and you could also walk 10 mins to access some of the beach clubs further along. Fantastic facilities and exceptionally clean and maintained property.

Riccardo! Wonderful host. Staff! Wonderful and kind. Location is not accessible by car - closest parking lot (make sure you know the rules) is about two blocks. Riccardo offered to pick us up! Location is 1 min walk to beach, easy 5 minute walk to most anywhere in the old town - maybe 8 minutes to the main piazza. Dozens of great cafes and restaurants within 10 minute walk. The B&B is extremely clean, modern, and provides easy access with electronic key. Breakfast great and served promptly - try Riccardo's orange cake! Excellent! We trained out - easy 15 min walk to the Monopoli train station for Regionale train, connected to Bari Centrale, then FrecciArgento train to Roma Termini - way easy and inexpensive, especially if you buy a Speciale fare early.

Nothing that Riccardo has the ability to change - the beautiful architecture is what the architecture is. Note - the stairs are STEEP - and require some adjustment! If you are infirm in any way, there is a ground floor room (no window) that is available. Otherwise, understand the stairs are STEEP and difficult - especially with baggage - BUT, it is worth it!

My partner and I stayed here on our Puglia honeymoon and it was fantastic! Location was perfect - it was near free parking, seconds away from the beach and in the heart of town, close to the bars and restaurants. The room had literally everything you needed - aircon, fridge and balcony and it felt very very safe and secure. Breakfast was awesome with both savoury and sweet options and great cappuccino! The host - Riccardo - was awesome! Spoke excellent English, offered to drive to get our suitcases (which we didn’t need as we had backpacks) and responded quickly via WhatsApp. I also messaged him to check on whether we were allowed to park in a particular place which is probably not really allowed but he responded quickly and we were very appreciative! Thank you! The actual room and building was really really well done, we were VERY impressed with the fancy window opening mechanism. especially being people in construction! There’s also an awesome terrace if you want to get away from it all. I highly recommend staying here and we would definitely return.

We absolutely LOVED our stay, it couldn't have been any better! The room is just paces from the beach and had a lovely view of the sea. Ricardo was absolutely lovely to deal with, he picked us up from the train station in his car and helped us to get a taxi back to the airport. Everything was designed really originally and beautifully in the room, it was a very cool and very comfortable space. It was spotlessly clean! The shared roof terrace is a lovely place to chill and has an incredible view of the skyline and sea. Thank you Ricardo, we will be recommended your place to our friends.

Thank you, Ricardo. We loved staying in your beautiful B&B in Monopoly, Italy. It’s located in old town and convenient to restaurants, shopping and the beach. We could walk everywhere. The rooms were extremely clean and well appointed and the breakfasts were wonderful! We loved the fresh croissants, fruit, cheese and coffee. Ricardo was extremely accommodating. One morning we had to leave very early and he prepared a beautiful breakfast before we left. I would highly recommend B&B A C-Caste!

The location is wonderful. Right on the sea front near the Cathedral. Our room was spacious, with a balcony overlooking the old city walls and air conditioning and a wonderful bed and a hot shower. The rooftop with comfortable chairs and tables was also a most welcome addition. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Riccardo, our host, was charming, attentive and extremely helpful, taking us to the bus stop with all our luggage for our onward journey to Alberrabello. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We liked everything. The property exceeded our expectations.

This was our final stop of a 10 day trip around Puglia, it’s a perfectly renovated B&B in an excellent and safe location, right by the sea, local beaches within walking distance, restaurants, shops, Gelateria, taxi stop, castle, etc. all few mins walk. The host Riccardo and his family could not have done more to make us comfortable. Aside from the excellent location, the rooms and bathroom are exceptionally clean with comfortable beds.

Cannot fault the overall experience, we had an excellent short stay.

We stayed 3 nights with my partner. Our flight was delayed so we were only able to get to Monopoli around 8pm. This was not a problem, Riccardo even blocked us a free parking spot close to the accommodation which saved our lives as parking in Monopoli in August is near impossible. He then transported us straight to the B&B in his calessino. The location is right inside the old down, all the main attractions super close and both the Basilica and Cala Porta Vecchia beach are within 1 minute of walking. The room was extremely clean, the decoration is very unique and cosy with the subtle accents of wood and stone throughout the property. In our room the bedroom area and a shower was separated by a see through glass wall which is a very quirky design. Breakfast was amazing with a selection of savoury and sweet pastries and even fresh fruit. Riccardo was always friendly and smiling, one of the best hosts I have ever met. If we are ever in Monopoli again, will definitely try to stay here.

This place was one of the highlights of our trip, and we strongly recommend it for anyone looking to use Monopoli as their base for visiting Puglia. The location couldn’t be any better, inside the city center, where all the cute streets and restaurants are, but just a few steps from a parking lot (cars are not allowed inside the city center, so this location is perfect). The property is beautiful, and extremely clean, and Riccardo, the host, is a wonderful person that would go above and beyond to make your stay perfect! Also the breakfast is perfection! Loved everything! Will be back for sure !
