Very friendly and helpful staff (though sometimes it felt a bit weird when there were more staff members during breakfast than guests), the room was very clean and quite comfortable. There is a small kitchenette and a dining area, as well as a tiny balcony, very cozy and nice place to stay at. The bathroom was well equipped, with plenty of toiletries provided, as well as some earplugs and slippers. Despite a central location we can't complain of any excessive outside noise. The staff was very accomodating with late check-in and we could leave our luggage after checking out. The breakfast was also pretty nice, I loved having cannoli every morning.

The space for our belongings in the bedroom wasn't particularly practical: some hooks for jackets and shelves wouldbe nice. The sink seemed to be somewhat clogged and a paper tissue dispenser kept breaking and falling down. Also the water in the shower is kinda slow warming up and reacting to temperature setting change.

My stay at the ALMA Hotel in Palermo was exceptional. The young, dynamic, and incredibly helpful staff, especially Noemi, made check-in a breeze. The hotel's central location provided easy access to historic sites, and despite a room facing the street, closing the balcony door blocked out any noise. The meticulous cleaning staff and their polite service were also noteworthy. I highly recommend the ALMA Hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Palermo; it exceeded my expectations in every way.

While my stay at the ALMA Hotel in Palermo had many positive aspects, there were a few drawbacks to note. Firstly, our room was located on the 6th floor, and given that there are other B&Bs in the building, the elevator was often quite busy, leading to frustrating waits of more than 5 minutes at times. Additionally, we encountered a minor issue with ants in the bathroom, although the cleaning staff promptly addressed the problem. Finally, while the breakfast offered was satisfying for a day or two, it became repetitive and somewhat boring as the menu remained fixed for longer stays. These are areas where the hotel could make some improvements to enhance the overall guest experience.

Very warm welcome. The parking didn’t look easy so we opted for the valet parking, this was quick and easy. Great information was given to us both verbally and written. The receptionist was very helpful and made us immediately comfortable. All the staff were lovely, at breakfast; all helpful and attentive. The breakfast was great, lots of options, great cakes/pastries, cereal, toast, fruit, etc. The property was in a good location for sightseeing and the receptionist gave us a map and information on where to go, what to see and how long it would take as we were limited with time. The room was fine with a fridge with complimentary soft drinks which were much needed.

The staff was very accommodating and welcoming. They helped arrange a car from the airport to pick us up and were flexible when our flight was delayed. I appreciated how communicative they were over messaging and helping answer our questions. The room was clean, nice, and the bed was VERY comfortable. The blackout shades worked very well and helped for a good night’s sleep! The location is a close walk to all the city attractions, especially the Teatro Massimo and many restaurants. The daily breakfast was nice, just enough to fill up to start the day. Will definitely visit again if ever in Palermo!

More vegetarian and savory options for breakfast would be nice.

Hotel location is great - walking distance to main point of interests, Staff are extremely friendly and helpful, they helped us with several bookings, local information (buses, airport transfer etc). Room we stayed in was very comfortable, very clean, we had all we wanted / needed. Very comfortable beds with great mattress and pillows - great help with someone with sensitive back like mine! Breakfast is a mix of savoury (ham, cheese, yoghurt) and sweet (pastries, cakes, cereal, fruit) - all very fresh and tasty!

Hotel is based on a very busy road and traffic noise can be distracting BUT the hotel provides ear plugs so good night sleep is guaranteed

Our room was very comfortable with everything that we needed, especially a comfortable bed and we liked the balcony. The staff were so lovely, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was plentiful and varied, most enjoyable. The location was fantastic, easy to get to most central sights, including the three main markets in Palermo. The staff organised a taxi for us to get to the central railway station. Everything at the hotel was accessible by lift. We will return to Sicily and Palermo and will choose Alma Hotel next time.

From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located within a beautiful building where a lift takes you to reception on the third floor. Our room was on the sixth floor. We were very happy with our room. Breakfast (included in our price) was everything that we needed with a great variety of choice. We liked the location close to Teatro Massimo and the main road leading to many other sights. The hotel accommodated our hire car with valet parking.

The staff is wonderful and very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice, and the cakes were all made by the owner. Location is deceiving as reception is located on the third floor of a multi-use property, and the rooms are on various floors. The shower was the best! The mini bar was complimentary, which was nice, and reception always had refills.

At first, the location looks a little dicey, but it is actually in a good location for seeing the sites.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There were lovely added extras like breakfast and free beverages in the mini fridge. It was right in the centre of Palermo so most things were within walking distance.

The area can be a bit noisy with traffic and there was building work going on which caused banging at 8am a few of the days.

the room was very modern. the bed and pillows were the best we’ve had in 4 weeks. wonderful. breakfast was ample, with lots of choice. but by far the best thing we liked about the property, was the young staff. always smiling, happy to laugh at our jokes, and incredibly accommodating to our needs. they are a credit to the hotel.
