Our stay here was exceptional and extremely welcoming. Everything was perfect including the cleanliness, the fantastic breakfast options and the close proximity to most major attractions. Eugenio, Judith and the other staff went out of their way to offer advice & book taxis for us. They went above & beyond and nothing was too much trouble. As it was our anniversary while in Palermo, Eugenio surprised us with a lovely bottle of Prosecco. We would most certainly stay here again. Thank you so much !!

The BnB is made very lovely inside out - almost as loveley as the people who work here. The rooms are beautiful designed with a nice view on the park or port. The breakfast offers a delicious selection of bread, spreads, eggs cereals, very good home made coffee & juices etc. Also the location is a 10/10 since it is situated close to the sea but also the beautiful old town of Palermo. All in all we had a wonderful time at BnB Dolcevita and will for sure be back!

Fantastic accomodation, very comfortable, very clean and it offers a warm welcome. There is a great feel and soul to the place . The property is just a 10 minute stroll from the centre of the city with Eugenio and Judith offering advice and help of what to see and how to get there. Breakfast choice was excellent with great Italian coffee served by Judith. Calm relaxing break in a lovely, lively city. Great hosts, put a bottle of Prosecco in our room to help celebrate our wedding anniversary, which was a lovely touch. We would go back in a heartbeat.

No negatives

Nicely renovated house with nice entrance and staircase part. Helpfull and welcoming hosts. Not far away from main center parts, landmarks and some of the popular sightseeings.

In our opinion the b&b room was very well overpriced. The furnishings, equipment, breakfest and mostly everything else is well presented but really simple and budget type, in our opinion it really doesn't have everything to do with boutique or deluxe as described. Our room was on street side with loud traffic. Cheap plastic windows really didn't provide soundproofing. As kindly asked we leave ten points...

We stayed at BnB Dolcevita for four nights. The rooms are tastefully decorated and very spacious and clean. The bed is comfortable and the sheets are of high quality. Breakfast and coffee were good. The services were great. They printed our bus tickets for us and booked a taxi for us to the bus terminal, which turned out to be a brand new Mercedes limousine and only cost €18 to the bus terminal. We enjoyed our stay at BnB Dolcevita.

Brand new property. Minimalist and elegant design. Beautiful old building restored in great location. Comfortable bed. Top quality crib. Mr. Eugénio was the nicest, kindest and attentive owner we ever met, making that extra mile to meet out family needs. Felt like home.

The BnB is a great place if you want to visit Palermo but don't want to be in the busy city centre. It is a good place to explore the city on foot. In front of the BnB is a parking lot where you can park your car safely for a small amount per day. We got an upgrade to the suite, which was a pleasant surprise! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It is a quiet place where you can relax and wash off the day. The host and other staff were very friendly. The host gave us some recommendations of the places we should visit, which was helpful.

The air conditioning was leaking in our room. It didn't form a puddle on the floor, but you could see a wet spot on the wall. Not that big of a deal, but the room could seem tidier if this was fixed. But the owner said it is hard to get workers in August. So, it is totally understandable and it was no problem at all.

This building going to be gorgeous when the renovations are done. The bnb looks great as does the entrance and staircase of the building. There was great water pressure too.

The host unlocked our door when we didn’t answer. I was in the shower and my children were playing video games in bed. He wanted to know if we wanted breakfast. I find this to be very problematic. Kids are not supposed to open the door for strangers and they could have been sleeping or changing or any number of other reasons the door was locked and we hadn’t answered.

We travelled to Palermo with a group of 12 people. The hotel was simply amazing, starting with hospitality, and ending with the people working there. Special thanks to the reservation team for help with all of the queries and to Eugenio who has been very helpful each day to make our stay even more special. The rooms are very spacious and recently renovated. You will rest properly after the all-day walk. Highly recommended! Hard to find anything better in a whole Palermo. You will not regret it.

Lack of the safe box

Wonderful hosts who could not have welcomed us more graciously, and who made us very comfortable during our 3 night stay. Delicious breakfasts, much of which was made in house. Great location, near water, but a very doable walk to the area of the opera house, shopping and dining streets, and to many of Palermo’s historic treasures. We loved our stay there.
