There were a few different people on reception. One guy was very helpful in arranging a taxi pick-up. No cooked breakfast, but there was some variety from day to day. Freshly squeezed juice if you asked. Fridge in the room. Comfy beds. Close to lots of interesting places. Convenient for the airport bus.

The shower head was stuck on the wall quite high; I missed being able to remove this from the wall. Very limited bar services. The hotel was unable to supply a corkscrew, so we needed to go to the restaurant across the road to ask them to open a bottle. I was confused about the payment for city taxes as I asked on Day 1 (check-in) whether we had paid for everything and was told that we had, so this was a bit unclear. It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room.

The interior of the hotel building is very retro and you can smell it in the air as well. The staff members were very nice and helpful. Great location, easy to get to everywhere.

The window of the bathroom is connected to the balcony of the next door room. We could hear the next door guests talking on the phone on the balcony and we'd image they could hear us flushing the toilet while they stay on the balcony. It's a bit awkward. Breakfast is not included, and to have breakfast at the hotel they charge €10 per person for which we thought what they offer for breakfast wasn't worthing the price. There were a couple of cafe on the doorstep outside of the hotel and we went to one of them every morning for breakfast, more choices of breakfast and spent less .

Very good and quiet location. Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast. Interesting old building with lots of paintings. Very good value for money.

The bathroom was old but serviceable, some guests complain about it but this is fairly reflected in the three star rating and the price.

Excellent budget option! Room 110 was a basic double I booked for single use, and it was very comfortable with a small balcony; I think it might be a bit too cramped with 2 large suitcases. It was quiet, and I was able to sleep with the windows open. Towels changed daily, and housekeeping was good. Friendly staff. EXCELLENT location with good bus links and endless eating and drinking options. You can also walk just about anywhere. I was travelling on my own and felt very save in the neighbourhood.

You make your own coffee for breakfast and it was OK, but not great. The rest of the was OK with the best pistachio croissants I had in three weeks. excellent homemade cake, if you like the real Italian breakfast.

Overall, Hotel Joli offered great value for the money. The location was excellent, and the atmosphere was cozy. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which enhanced our stay.

However, we did encounter one issue. We arranged a taxi to the airport through the hotel, and the reception quoted us 50 euros. Unfortunately, the taxi driver charged us 60 euros, claiming the extra cost was for our luggage. We only had two normal-sized bags, and it seems unreasonable to expect travelers to the airport without luggage.

Having paid the bill in cash and given a receipt by the receptionist, we were accused by the night receptionist of not paying the whole amount, and had to produce the receipt to prove as much. Never got an apology.

Lovely quirky hotel in a nice side road next to a park and a couple of blocks from Via Roma. Room was small but we probably should have booked a better room, everything was good in the room, the shower was excellent. The lift was a wonder to behold! Breakfast was standard continental but plenty of it, the cakes were yummy. Reception staff were helpful.

The wifi was virtually non existent, not really acceptable in this day and age.

Me and my partner had a very pleasant, stay at a very welcoming clean and well located hotel with staff who were happy to help, if we had any problems. Hotel, Joli is also a very artistic place, created with most certainly the artists touch which adds to the characteristics of the place. I would very much highly recommend for people to stay there. They will have a wonderful time.

Firstly on arrival the receptionist was telling me the breakfast schedule after directing me to my room, he also told us where breakfast was held, and I asked about Television and he showed me a remote and told me how to use it and told me which well known channels they had and he did say they only had subtitles in italian language. I accidently damaged a balcony handle in our room by using the handle wrongly in an attempt to lock the door. Mortified I went down in the elevator to groundflloor reception member who said he would pass this to his colleague by the time I had re-entered our room the colleague was knocking on my door with TOOLBOX and replacement locks and handles it was then CHANGED IMMEDIATELY !!! and with a smile I also asked to be moved to a room further across hall from elevator as WIFI would cut out depending where I stood. Once I moved to the other room I had WIFI signal continuously. Very quiet hotel, shame as its a lovely building and the three receptionists are staff are really approachable and the cleaning team and chef are all friendly. The hospitality team deserve to be paid a much much higher rate per hour.

Hotel Joli was very nice and the staff were great. the room size was great, it was an easy walk to the center of town, great restaurants nearby, parking was a bit crazy but we found something a few blocks away. The breakfast was a true contental with fresh baked croissants. The hotel has lovely character.

The only complaint was that the bed was a bit hard so a bit uncomfortable.
