The B&B is pretty well located: it's 10 mins walk from the railway station, 15 mins walk from the city's main thoroughfare. The contact with the owner was very good (by email, responding fast). Our request to have 2 separate beds was accepted without problems. The flat is located in an old building: it gives some idea of how flats were designed (still are?) in Italy. Italian breakfast was included in the price (a coffee and a cornetto). Check-in was hassle-free (keys picked up from the box on the entrance door) and so was the check-out (leave the key and leave). In general: very good price-quality ratio.

The bathroom (private) is located across the hall which is accessible to other guests (you actually rent a room in a big flat, some rooms might have their own bathrooms) - some might find it uncomfortable. Some rooms have windows from the side of the street: can get noisy when you leave the window open at night. I didn't like the request from the owner to send him/her photos of IDs of all guests by email (but maybe it's how it's done these days). Our room was rather small.

Sandro was very nice and quick to respond to questions! We arrived just before midnight and I had asked if he could send the key code for the front door a few days in advance when I still had internet. Didn't know if my phone would work once in Italy and I was worried I would be out on the street if I didn't have the code. Phone didn't work but I had the code and I was extremely thankful for it. Wifi and AC worked great. We had our private bathroom in the hallway. Location was convenient to the train station and Piazza Emanuel and all of the main cultural attractions are easily walkable in one day. Breakfast vouchers to a Cafe on the Piazza Emanuel were a very nice way to start your day. Thank you Sandro!

Room was lovely, very nice. Close to the train station, not very long walk away from the tower. Bathroom was below average, it was located outside the room, with separate key for the users and it wasn't very nice & clean - however it was fine to use overall. As for the breakfast, it's voucher to the cafe where they serve you hot drink (coffee) and croissant. Place is reccomended for short stay, it was almost perfect and with nice price comparing to other accomodations.

it was a bit loud, especially from other rooms (you could hear a lot of your neighboors actions :d).

Smooth checkin process ... Sandro texted me about arrival time, so he was waiting for us to show up. We were allowed to leave our bags in the room before official checkin time, which freed us up to visit the local sites. We were given a suggested tour of the city, and a recommended restaurant for dinner. The room was quite large, clean, good A/C, and strong wifi connection so all was very comfortable. Standard coffee + pastry breakfast at a neighborhood cafe was a nice touch. In conclusion, the whole stay was very pleasant.

Slight - very slight - inconvenience with the bathroom across the hall. BUt this fact was disclosed, and ultimately, it was a very minor irritation, not enough to change my very high +++ opinion of B&B Red Horse.

The B&B is close to the train station. The breakfast you can take with a voucher from the B&B for 1 coffee and 1 croissant in the close "Kinzica Pisa" Bar / Restaurant - it was perfect! The B&B is a flat with 1 kitchen (not for our use) and 4 different rooms. We had room 3 with own bathroom, and for 4 persons it was perfect. Nice and clean! We will definitely repeat, when we come back to Pisa.

The AACC was more a fan; it didn't fresh up the room, but as it wasn't hot outside, is was no problem for us.

Location was good, easy access by public transport from train station. Area was quiet, no noisy activity. Rooms were good enough and self-check-in was convenient. Have the facility to leave baggage after check-out time so that day activity can be done before moving to next destination. Breakfast arrangement is in a nearby cafe. We were family members of four adults, given two rooms. Overall good and we enjoyed our stay.

No lift if heavy luggage needs to manage if in upper floor.

Great location, next to the central station, very convenient for traveling. Very pleasant and friendly owner. There were no problems with settling and accommodation. Breakfast at the cafe on the square included coffee/tea and a croissant. In general, we are satisfied with our stay at the hotel.

Thin walls and poor sound insulation, if you have a light sleep, then you will have a hard time. Pillows and mattresses were also uncomfortable for us, but this is very individual, perhaps others will not have problems with this.

1) Locality -- few minutes from the Pisa Train Station. 2) Breakfast -- A coffee with a Crossiant from the Cafe, near the square 3) Bedding - Had a comfortable sleep since we had 1 double bed and 2 single beds for 4 of us

The only thing is since there were some stalls arranged just across the street and people were drinking and talking loud, but it didn't bothered us, as we were tired and fell asleep.

Location is really very nice. A big plus that one can check in and out independantly.

It was a bit sad that there were still signs in the kitchen and chilling area that due to covid guests are not allowed to use them. This leaves you with bed and shower only. I travelled quite some places in Italy during summer and autumn but I have never seen these remaining restrictions. I think desinfection of common spaces could work. One more thing to note is that shower is not in the room. One should go through the common kitchen and use a key for that.

Perfect for a one night stopover, close to station and less touristy parts of town such as Palazzo Blu. Felt very Italian in style and the air con was a bonus. All arrangements quickly made with the host. We enjoyed our breakfast in the cafe in the square.

We stayed as a family of four so the bathroom was quite a tight squeeze but would have been fine for a couple.
