The B&B is within easy walking distance of the station, even with heavy suitcases. The shuttle from the airport comes into a platform at the back so you do have to walk down the slope and through the tunnel under the railway and up in the lift to get to the front. There is also a lift at the B&B to the top floor. The lady kindly stayed later than usual to receive us after our late flight. It was helpful having the key so we could pick up our cases later in the day for onward travel.

After arriving quite late at night, the wealth of instructions was quite hard to remember and we didn't manage to get the coffee machine to produce any coffee in the morning when there was no-one there to ask. A set of instructions would have been useful.

The decor was really lovely, like a traditional guest house, even though it was in what looked like an office block. The room had good facilities , was clean and relaxed. Paola was helpful in showing where to visit and how to walk via the pedestrian road to the river/historic centre. Good, quiet aircon. It was v close to the Keith Haring mural and Art Burger restaurant (which does amazing burgers). Lots of more traditional food nearby too.

The only downside was staff were not there but they replied immediately to WhatsApp messages. The breakfast had a lot of sweet stuff and again no one was there to ask. There was yogurt and lovely fresh fruit juice though, so some healthy stuff.

The location is very close to the train station and relatively close to be able to walk (the town is small!) to Piazza dei Miracoli (and therefore to the leaning tower) which makes it a good choice for a mini-tourist trip! The location is very pleasant The first pleasant surprise was the operation of the elevator, because the location is on the 6th floor of the building! The common area (where Paola has arranged a portion for breakfast) is a beautiful one that exudes a family atmosphere. As for the breakfast, it was appreciated by us because although it was not a continental breakfast but rather an upgraded Italian one, we found a lot (and plenty) to be satisfied. For those who are into the English breakfast style or egg fans, you won't find anything like that BUT there are plenty of options (all cold) from which you can choose. Again, for the two nights we stayed there, the breakfast was good The room according to the description, was OK for two nights, but I will list some downsides below

If the first pleasant surprise was the elevator, it was also the first unpleasant one, because the motor driving it was somewhere very close to us and we could hear it with every command... Especially at night, this is unpleasant and for those who sleep lightly it can be a big problem. Moreover, the problem of sound insulation is one that we have constantly encountered in Italy. Here from our room, the conversations in the common area could be heard as if they were in our room... Similarly, when you flush the toilet, the sound can be heard throughout the apartment. It was disturbing that, despite the patience we were advised to have, the hot water did not flow during our stay!!!

This is a charming B&B! The host has done an excellent job of thinking of all the little details to make it comfortable. She is very welcoming, and we felt like we were being hosted in her home but given complete privacy - the perfect B&B combo. Very impressed.

The lobby looks like it is having some work done, so at the moment the building itself looked a little dodgy when we first entered! But I suspect it is temporary, and it is clearly a well maintained building, so will lose this issue once finished.

Great location. A very short walk from the station; not at all far from the main sights of Pisa. Plenty on the doorstep. Our host gave us a very warm welcome, plus helpful tips for our stay. Our room was comfortable and spacious. The air con was a plus. The property had a good sized balcony with lovely views. Breakfast was plentiful, and guests had access to the food/tea, coffee and juices at other times. Our host also allowed us access to the property after checkout so we could leave our bags until we headed for the airport. A helpful extra

There was nothing we didn’t like

The bed and room were very comfortable. The location is very close to the train station, so that's handy for train trips and the airport (via the PisaMover) and it's no more than a 20 minute walk to any of tourist sites in Pisa. The help-yourself breakfast was great and you can get it whenever you want so there are no time constraints. The owner was flexible about check-in and we were able to leave our cases after we'd checked out until we were ready to fly.

It was quite hard to find initially as there's no sort of sign out front (and google maps isn't very helpful in pinpointing it). It's just an apartment in an anonymous block, so you need to find building number 4 then look for the the "Dei Cavalieri" button to buzz up!

The B&B is a charming property with lots of character. Our room was comfortable, clean and nicely furnished with a small balcony overlooking Pisa. The breakfast / lounge area was also very comfortable and had a quaint, Italian feel to it. For breakfast there was a good selection of cakes, pastries, yogurts, pancakes, meats, cheeses etc. which we very much enjoyed. No hot options, but we were not looking for that. Paula was a lovely hostess - she left us to ourselves once she checked us in and we very much felt like we had the place to ourselves and the other guests. She was also very happy to help and provide recommendations if needed.

The owner does not stay at the property and needs plenty of notice of arrival so she can check guests in. This was our fault but our phones were not working so could not provide notice - we ended up having to find someone in the street whose phone we could use and then wait outside the property for her to arrive to check us in. There was also a bit of an issue with locking / unlocking the door into the upstairs hallway where some inside guests seemed to get locked in. However, should not be a problem if you listen to the owner's instructions!

This B&B is situated on the top (6th) floor of an apartment block. It's about 5 minute walk to the railway station and also convenient for the city centre. When we arrived in Pisa we made contact with the very helpful owner who kindly sent us a photo which showed how to identify the building, as the apartment block is located above a bank (cassa di risparmio) and not entirely obvious from the address. The room we had was very tastefully furnished, spacious, clean and well equipped, with a large comfortable bed and good air-conditioning. Very quiet when you pulled the shutters down. Breakfast is a self-service affair that you can have at any time - this suited us as we had to leave early for a flight. Not the most exciting of breakfasts, but there were the usual cereals, bread, pastries and some ham and cheese in the fridge and a toaster and coffee machine. We thought this place was ideal for a short break in Pisa and would happily stay here again.

The location is quite good, very close to main street, restaurants, etc, easy to walk to any key point: airport, train station, the tower, the museums. flexibility to check out but to leave the luggage safely until departure. that is purely a golden advantage we have enjoyed 100%. many thanks for having this idea

the mosquitos killed us - the nest has some wholes and it should be replaced or a system with mosquitos repellent solution would be great (not a toxic spray tube that we can inhale). we have each at least 50-60 bites and could sleep well at all. for those with children, please be advised that the triple room access is a rooftop room with an impossible stairway case (very abrupt, not advised to leave children under 3/4 yrs unattended breakfast is 80% sugar/ sweets based

Very cozy B&B, with a view of the Leaning Tower from the terrace. For breakfast, in addition to sweets, a selection of meats and cheeses and the option of toast. Paola is an over-sympathetic and very helpful person. We had a very early flight for which she helped us order a cab and was ready to answer my phone at night if something was wrong, but fortunately there was no need, as I think I would have had a hard time making it at 4 am. If you are planning to stay in Pisa, this is the perfect accommodation.
