Dei Serafina reception was very easy to find and in walking distance from the train station Lucia and Briken were both very helpful and friendly to me prior to and on arrival. My large apartment was very central in the old town , quiet and with a roof terrace. The apartment was tastefully renovated in an authentic way, beautifully decorated with lovely furnishings and facilities for self catering. I had breakfast on 1 of my mornings, it was served close by in a separate building. The ladies prepared a beautiful spread of salami, cheeses , fruit and homemade cakes, cooked breakfast was also served. Also thanks again to Briken and Lucia for organising a boat trip and their restaurant recommendations.

Location was outstanding! The bar owned by this proprietor run by her son was outstanding! 95% of the staff are great but one female server was not appropriate to the wonderful brand they’re trying too achieve.

Functionality of the apartment! Beautiful unit that lacked storage everywhere. No ironing board no real place to unpack and put clothes away for two people for 7 days. Great decoration that got in the way of the living space. For example we needed to tie back the bedroom lights because we would hit our heads on them always! we need to use all three levels for storage. The bathroom had no place to put our toiletries for daily use. The shower nozzle lacked water pressure. The lightening in the bathroom was in adequate for basic needs like shaving.

The staff including Briken and Georgia at Dei Serafini went above and beyond to help out during my stay. The 1 bedroom apartment called Mari was centrally located on the main piazza and within walking distance to the Main Street for shopping and eating as well as the beach. If going to the local beach, I recommend taking reef shoes as it’s a rock beach. Also, if you’re a light sleeper, I recommend noise cancelling ear plugs as the piazza can get noisy at night especially in August which is peak time for local and international tourists to travel to this area. The hot water needs to be looked at as there was little. Other than that, if you want more space, to be in the middle of the action and feel like a local, it’s a good option. Photos attached - note they were taken upon check out hence why the bed wasn’t made and rubbish needed to be taken out.

The place is in the historic centre of the city. They make amazing homede breakfast, which was the best thing in our stay! If you choose to stay in the property, you definitely should pay for breakfast. The two ladies every morning bake tarts and focaccia that are outstanding! Our apartment was 3 minutes walk from the beach.

In the description of the apartment, it was claimed that there were two bathrooms, which was important for us because we were a group of three people. Unfortunately, there was only one. The other thing is that the bedroom isn't separated from the other room. Last but not least, in the mornings is a little bit noisy because of the garbage trucks that are collecting the glass bottles.

The location of our rooms was fabulous, right behind the main piazza but it was very quiet and private. We adored the breakfast room down in the next street - authentic local dishes made fresh each morning by the gorgeous Marianna who could not do enough to make sure we were looked after. She was a little ray of sunshine.

I think the open shower in our room could do with some glass to close it off a bit so water doesn’t run under the bed when showering. It was very pretty to look at but not really practical. I think the mattresses have seen better days too.

I was in paradise staying at Dei Serafini! The staff was extremely helpful and any question I had could easily be sent through Whatsapp and they were quick to reply. Perfect location in the heart of the old town. Amazing room with an incredible private terrace overlooking the ocean. They also have partnerships with 2 beach clubs and setup transportation there and back for us with their private driver. We were spoiled at the beach club. I also had to do some work from the apartment and the wifi was very fast. Loved staying at Dei Serafini and will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Polignano a mare!

Everything was amazing!

Where is the button for 7 stars? We had an amazing, amazing staying at Dei Serafini. Could not find a better location, facilities and set up for us. First we booked a 2 rooms apartment and we got un upgrade. Highly recommend the villa no 61, with beautiful view both to sea side and plazza. Two days latter, some friends come and booked another two deluxe. Everything was spotless. Special thanks to Briken from front desk, who was more than helpful, with excellent English and very responsive and an extra, extra star to the cleaning lady who found random 350 Euro in the room (that one friend didn't even knew about them), and put them it in a safe place. If ever back again in the Polignano, this is the only option we take into consideration.

If I really have to name something, carry the luggage on very narrow stairs .

I liked the Jacuzzi at the rooftop, it was really relaxing. and the host was really tried to help us, when we had a problem with car rentals and flight delay late at night. Thank you so much!

Not much, but a suggestion; I think it'd be great if indicate there is a extra cost for outside of checkin timing (it was 43 euros for us). We arrived later than we expected (as our flight got delayed 2+hours) and we had to check in after 10pm, and therefore there was extra cost which we didn't know. Not complaining but good to know for other people.

Beautiful room and view from the rooftop with spa. Allowed early check in with no additional costs.

Was very disappointed having asked the staff the day before we left to pre book transportation to the train at 8am, the staff instead requested I ask in the morning as someone would be there. Instead there was no staff and had to run with our heavy luggage. Had messaged with no response till almost an hour later and no acknowledgement.

The property was very cute, love the stone walls and the decor. It was in the most perfect location. Staff were extremely friendly and hospitable. The Prosecco and taralli were a lovely thought.

Whilst the suite was lovely, it was quite dangerous going up and down the steep stairs to the bathroom, especially during the night. Would have preferred bathroom and bedroom on same floor.
