Pierluigi went out of his way to help us when we arrived so we could drop our cases off early and go and explore the town. He was always happy to answer questions and suggest places to eat, beaches etc. The B & B is fascinating and very dramatic, overlooking the sea, high up on the cliffs. There are many comfortable places to sit including the lovely roof terrace which nobody seemed to use apart from at breakfast so it was like having a private viewing platform!! The room was good. The location, in the middle of the old town, clise to bars, shops and restaurants was perfect. Breakfast was ample.

The bed was rather hard.

Our room had seaview and was fantastic. You look directly on the rocks and the water. The B&B is located in the old town of Polignano with direct access to the little streets and many restaurants. It is also not far from the little beach where you have direct access to the sea. (but beach is very crowded when the weather is nice)

Although the view is magnificent, we found the price too high for the full package. Compared to other B&B's in the region of Puglia, we didn't feel the passion of the owner renting a B&B. The contact was rather straight forward, a little bit cool. You could choose coffee for free but from an automate/machine. Being in a country well-known for its coffee, this really felt as a cheap solution and degradation of your national product on which you should be proud as an Italian.

A once in a lifetime stay. The view from the balcony of our room was directly over the cliffs of Polignano A mare and to the ocean. You feel as though you've walked on to the set of A Talented Mr Ripley. The staff are extremely helpful at all times and the breakfast, though basic, is delicious.

The property is tired and the furniture is old (some broken). This does however, become instantly charming when you open the window to the balcony. The room is basic, but very comfortable. It is the most authentic Italian stay.

An amazing property in the heart of the old town, with incredible views from your bedroom over the water. The are only 4 rooms in the property with a shared lounge on the second floor, as well as the balcony, also overlooking the water. The balcony is where a fantastic breakfast is served every morning. Our host was a good communicator and has lots of helpful suggestions. We would definitely stay here again if we ever went back to Polignano a Mare.

The air conditioner was a bit noisy the first night, but after that, it was cool enough to have the windows open instead.

Beautiful. Historic. Perfect location in the center of Polignano A Mare with our window overlooking the sea, right above the cliffs, wow. We heard the waves outside which lulled us right to sleep. The room (Seneca) was stunning with period pieces true to the building's history, yet modern with its small fridge, heater, AC and hot water. We were greeted with friendliness and grace and cannot wait to return! Remember that this is in the middle of the historic district of the village, which (like all historic centers in Italy) do not allow outside cars, so park only in designated spots and then walk into the village. We parked 450 meters away and had a wonderful stroll through the village before reaching the palace. Thank you Relais Del Senatore, and see you again soon!

The water view were magnificent. It was right in the Storico Centro. The rooftop deck faced the sea and was wonderful for breakfast, even in late October/early November. It was a full breakfast including eggs of your choice. The common areas were classically furnished and comfortable.

The property is magnificent. Parking, however, is a challenge because the property is in a “no drive” district. Pierre Luigi met us at the car and took our bags for us the three blocks that we had to walk to the property. He was able to direct us to free parking several blocks away.

What a view - it was stunning - so close to the sea- wish we had more than 2 days. Breakfast was on the roof terrace and was looking out to sea. Very spacious room which was very clean and beautifully decorated. Easy to understand entry details and the host was very helpful

There was someone playing the piano nearby until midnight but I think we were unlucky!

We loved this B&B. Relais Del Senatore is located in the old town of Polignano a Mare which means there is vehicle restrictions, however this was not a problem as Pierluigi arranged our transfer from the carpark to the accomodation. The B&B is a beautiful historical building that once was used in Olive Oil production, has been lovingly converted into accomodation. Our room had a sensation view over the Adriatic and was well appointed. Breakfast was served on the roof terrace. Pierluigi was a wonderful host and couldn't do enough to make our stay comfortable.

That we couldn't stay longer

Pierluigi is the GM of B&B Realis Del Senatore and was extremely helpful and put you at ease. He wanted you to relax and enjoy everything Polignano A Mare has to offer. Since we arrived by car he provided an address where we could park and w met there and brought to the B&B by golf cart. This you should take advantage of. It is a nominal fee of 20 Euro to park, be picked up and dropped off at the B&B. Since the B&B is located in a non vehicle area this is well worth the money. They had a fantastic roof top with picturesque views of the caves located in the sea directly below. To be any closer to the sea you would have to be in the water. The roof is available 24 hours a day. You can lounge on the chairs and sunbath or you can have a drink and snacks and look out onto the ocean. It is also very close to the beach. The breakfast was served on the roof and Pierluigi had everything you could want from all types of croissants, eggs, toast, fruit, juices. and every type of coffee that could be made. Pierluigi is the perfect host and he truly enjoys what he does and he makes certain you have a most enjoyable time.

This place is better than you'd expect... our room was perfectly located in the pedestrian centre of Polignano a mare. We were greeted by incredible hosts, beautiful decor and dreamy beds! The breakfast was delicious too, served on the rooftop terrace which overlooks the sea. Simply stunning. I cannot recommend this place any higher.
