The location was PERFECT! Out of the way from the hustle and loud bustle. There is a free shuttle to and from the main street to Parco, or you can walk the 10 minutes. If you’re in cinque Terre, you’re going to do a lot of walking. Marta picked us up 2 minutes from the train station. The breakfast was a wonderful surprise as Marta cooks your eggs and pancakes to order if you wish! Great fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, breads, meat, cheese, and sweets. Cappuccino and espresso is made to order, and she has American coffee in maker as well. Fresh juices too! The place was impeccably landscaped and exceptionally clean. I don’t think we could rate this high enough….10 is not enough! The pool and private sitting areas were beautiful with an excellent view of the sea. Marta is a whiz with WhatsApp and responds quickly. A wonderful find!!! Thank you Marta and family.

A very nice breakfast was provided, which overlooked the ocean. Beautiful views and property. The location is not in the heart of the village, which is nice to get away from the tourists. It is a ~10 minute walk to/from the restaurants and downtown. The property owners and operators are so welcoming and accomodating to your needs. The rooms were cleaned each day.

Kids at the pool playing "Marco/Polo" and jumping in. We love children, if you have children this is a great place, but if you're looking for a quiet adult stay, you might encounter this.

We absolutely loved our time staying at Il Parco! We were there for four nights during the second week of October, and we’re very lucky with decent weather most of the time. The B&B is outside the main part of Monterosso, about 10 minutes walk up and down the hill (longer depending on fitness levels), however, there is also an hourly shuttle van if desired or needed. The property and grounds are beautiful and well maintained, and the rooms are cozy and comfortable without being pretentious. I can only speak for our room, but our shower was incredible - honestly, one of the best I’ve ever had. Delicious and varied breakfast buffet, especially in Italy, with the option for eggs or pancakes cooked to order. We ate out every night, but saw other guests bringing food back to eat on their personal patios, or at a communal table on the grounds. The pool was cold but perfect at the end of the day, even just to sit by the lounge chairs and stare out to sea - we had this area to ourselves pretty much every afternoon we were there. Marta and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. If ever we find ourselves returning to that area, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

This is extremely nit picky, but would love a full length mirror. That’s about the only thing I’d add for improvement. Still a 10/10 for us!

We loved everything about this place. The breakfast was lovely, the views were amazing and the peaceful surroundings was just what you want when on holiday. Marta and her family were so welcoming and helpful and I would stay there again when visiting Cinque Terre. The walk down the hill is fine as it’s 7 mins and if you don’t want to walk the 15 mins back up then you can time it and get the free shuttle every hour from 4.15pm to 11.15pm.

I highly recommend this beautiful and tranquil B&B. It is nestled amongst the hills overlooking the sea. Marta was very attentive and answering my questions promptly. I loved the manicured gardens, the quietness and having the shuttle bus was perfect. I didn't want to leave this place.

This is not a dislike but a suggestion. Knowing that we could have booked the beach club in advance would have been handy as it was full when we were there. But part from that. This place is perfect.

I absolutely loved my time at Il Parco. Marta picked us up when our train arrived, no problems there. The shuttle service was convenient for getting to Il Parco from town, but my husband and I usually went back and forth by foot. We stayed in unit #1, which had an incredible view of the ocean, framed by olive trees, with a little enclosed patio where I enjoyed my coffee each morning. Breakfast each morning was delicious and substantial. We chatted with other guests, but there is plenty of space and privacy on the property to have a quiet experience as well. We are completely charmed by Monterosso itself, and we certainly hope to return.

The only suggestion I have is a more comfortable bed, where you can't feel the split between the mattresses. We slept just fine, but the bed could be better.

A very nice base to explore the Ligurian coast. We've only spent a long weekend with them, but for sure we will try to come back to the region. The property is well positioned on a hill overlooking the see. It is smaller than the pictures would leave you to believe but very nicely setup in the middle of a well organized and maintained garden. Breakfast is good and much better than what Italy usually offers. Marta was an very friendly and helpful, providing valuable info and recommendation. Monterosso is a good choice if you want to visit the coast both north and south, and much more accesible than the other 4 villages of Cinque Terre

The whole area seems suffocated by mass tourism. Interestingly enough, at the end of August, in Cinque Terre there were probably more foreigners than Italians, who appeared to prefer Rappalo or St Marguerita. However, this is somewhat to be expected during summer. Probably best time to visit would be either in May or in October.

The breakfast was thorough and delicious with a wide variety of eggs, pastries, and fresh fruit. They had a shuttle that took people down to town in 5 minutes that ran often and gave us rides to and from the train station, but we were happy most of the time to do the walk up and down the hill. They provided a laundry service for 15 euros for 7 kilos of clothing which saved us.

The room was a bit tight for a family of 4 with older kids. Wifi didn't really work.

Il Parco is wonderful! The property is stunning - gorgeous landscaping, flowers, and trees. Amazing view of the sea and coastline spread out before you. The buildings are in wonderful condition and the rooms were very clean and comfy and had everything we'd need. Marta is very efficient and quick to respond via WhatsApp. The breakfast buffet (with eggs made to your liking) offered a fantastic array of food that filled us up. The breakfast room, set at the top of the property, was beautiful with more of the sweeping views. The walk to the waterfront is only 5 minutes downhill and 10 minutes on the uphill return. The shuttle service operates hourly from 3:15pm-11:15 (except 8:15 - much to our display one exhausted evening). Upon your arrival at the train station, Marta or her father will pick you and your bags up. And they offer a ride down to the waterfront at your departure. It's nicely situated away from the crowds near the waterfront and old town but close enough to walk there in no time at all.

We truly loved everything - this is not a complaint but rather just a recommendation to any travelers seeking some privacy. The room we had was located front and center and directly in the line of site of the front gate. All who entered, had to walk up a few steps directly towards our room until turning left on the path right next to our deck. We spent most of our days hiking but in the later afternoon into evening we enjoyed collapsing on our deck in the sun or crashing on the bed with the door open (welcoming breezes and great views that we didn't want to miss). But it meant everyone was able to see everything. If this matters to you, request any other room except this one.

The setting was exquisite - a beautifully manicured garden overlooking Monterosso al Mare and the Mediterannean Sea. The rooms were gorgeous, with balconies and terraces to enjoy the view. Infinity pool, fabulous breakfast, shuttle to the main street, and most important of all - MARTA, the amazing woman who seemed to manage everything! My son noted that "Everyone needs a Marta!" We hated to leave this soothing, beautiful place.

We liked everything
