Andrea made us feel right at home. He waited for us when our train was delayed to check in and helped us up the steps with our bags. He was also really helpful worth restaurant advice etc. We loved having a window above the street and a nice patio to relax in.

This hotel is at the end of town, so it is just a bit longer walk from everything than I would have liked, but if you are hiking, it is very near the trail.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and it was perfect. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the train station but it’s an easy walk and pretty flat so manageable with your suitcase. Just steps from the old town and a great cafe-Mae Caa. The room was a good size, had a large bed, closet, fridge, and a drying rack out the window. But what really made my stay was Andrea. I’m a solo traveler and have travelled to Europe probably 20 times so I’ve stayed in a lot of hotels. He was incredible. Always had a smile on his face, answered all my questions, asked how my day was, and was full of suggestions. He’s one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. Thank you for everything Andrea!

The location of the accommodation was ideal, away from the main busy street in Monterosso, yet close to so many great restaurants and cafes. Or host Andrea went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, had lots of great tips about what to do and where to eat, and has spent a lot of time carefully thinking about ways to help his guests. He has even curated a map of the town with his personal recommendations! The aircon in the room worked well, and it was great having a clothes line out the window to hang our beach towels and bathers out to dry overnight. The rooms are simple, but have everything you need. We had a great stay, and the local bakery recommendation for breakfast is perfect too!

Location- This property is about 10 mins away from the station. Great location as it's close enough to get about, there's a lot of restaurants and shops nearby, but also it still feels residential. Room- My room was very large and had a large double bed, bathroom, TV, fridge, desk and wardrobe. Very clean and had all the usual conviniences. The best part of the stay though was Andrea the owner and his dog Blue. He was ever ready for a chat and had loads of recommendations of what to do, where to eat etc. This was not only my most authentic stay, but also my favourite part of my Italy trip.

The Manager Andrea and staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very clean and comfortable beds. En Suites are small but hot running water and nice clean towels. The hotel is in the old Town which is a 10 minute walk from the station if arriving by train. if you have heavy luggage you will need a taxi. There is steep stairs at the hotel so make sure you are fit and able to carry your luggage as there is no lift.t is close to many bars and restaurants and shops in the Town. We would like to go back and stay longer.

Steep steps

Location was good a short walk from the station. There steps up to the reception something to think about while carrying your suitcase up. The room was quite small so was the bathroom but it wasn't a problem for us. Nice to have a kettle and a fridge plus somewhere to hang wet clothes out the window. We were near restaurant's, supermarket and laundry. No need to pack many clothes as we used the laundry a good service. The shared terrace was nice as well. Very clean and helpful owner and staff.

Nice welcome from host, lots of information and had put a lot of effort into helping you in the region as a tourist. Comfy bed. Shower fine. Fairly good location- near centre of old town, 15mins from train station which has direct trains to destinations outside Cinque Terre

Slightly hard to find as cars from the downstairs garage were blocking the stairs. Noisy in the evenings, and from the fridge in the room. Cramped bathroom.

Great location in old town monterosso, feel like a local - with easy access to laundry services, groceries, and amazing restaurants. Comfortable bed, room with AC, good washroom that served our needs. We made a friend in Andrea and he enhanced our experience in Cinque Terre! He has streamlined the processes and provided so much information. We HIGHLY recommend his property and location - would definitely stay here again, can’t wait to return!!

Great value for money! Andrea was so warm and helpful, he always tried his best to give great recommendations! Monterosso is a brilliant town to stay in to explore Cinque Terre as it is bigger with more to do and less crammed crowds but still close to station and boat tours. The hotel is basic but very reasonably priced so we were happy! Even a fridge etc in the room which we weren’t expecting

Andrea, the host was very helpful and knowledgeable, and keen to ensure you get the most from your stay in the Cinque Terre. The information package provided was very extensive. The restaurants he recommended were excellent. The room like all places in Monterosso, was small but complete and comfortable. The A/C worked really well. The location was great, away from the major tourist centre.
