The hotel was just great! It was our first time in rome, and we looked at soooo many websites, and finally got to see this hotel. We took the superior room, and the size was just great! Not to small, not to big. Just perfect. The room was clean, the staff were very friendly, always with a smile, the breakfast was great and the location is perfect - 10-15 minutes walk from everything. As you understand- we will be back to this hotel. Stop looking .. you just found what you were looking for

Breakfast was great, easily accommodated allergies and the staff was always friendly and incredibly responsive. The location is great and the beds were very comfortable and rooms were very clean. We arrived hot and exhausted and the staff was so welcoming and just wonderful. A great location and place to stay. Highly recommend it.

Little things in the room were disappointing - supplies in the shower were not restocked (remained empty), outlets were loose which made it difficult to charge devices overnight. These are minor things that can be easily fixed if I had notified the hotel (which I should have done).

In advance of our stay the hotel contacted us and offered to book a car service to pick us up from the airport. Upon arrival the front desk were welcoming and gave us a map of the city and advised which sites to see. The room was ready for us immediately. The size of the junior suite was decent and enough room for us all.

The shower didn’t always have hot water, more often it was warm or cold. There was no door on the bathroom which made showering uncomfortable. The screen provided was not sufficiently covering the bathroom. For our return journey I asked the front desk to book our taxi but the person who noted our request told the taxi to take us to the wrong airport. He was clearly not as attentive as the ladies who were there on our arrival.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They got us a taxi early in the morning for a trip we’d pre-booked. This meant we missed breakfast but they provided a breakfast box for us instead. 🙂 on arrival it said we could have lunch in the hotel but there was no chef available. However, a member of staff walked us around the corner to their other hotel and arranged for us to get a discount there, as an apology for not being able to serve us. The lunch was delicious and again the service excellent. Breakfast each morning was lovely, offering hot and cold items and coffee made to order. The room was very clean and we were able to walk to every attraction I.e the Colosseum, the Trevi fountain, the Parthenon, the Spanish steps and even Vatican City (this one taking the longest at an hour’s walk). We were also able to walk 15 mins to the railway station.

The fact that we couldn’t use the roof top terrace because it rained - but we can hardly blame the hotel or the staff for that!! In fact when we went up, the barman was just starting to put things away, as the clouds indicated rain. He could see our disappointment, so he provided us with a drink, so we could enjoy the experience before the rains came down and said he meet us downstairs at the main bar when we were ready. We went down 10 mins later, to be greeted with complimentary nuts and crisps for the drinks we had. Above and beyond - so actually there was nothing to dislike.

The breakfast was good with enough variety of food, drinks and fresh fruits. I especially love cappuccino they serve when you sit down. Service was excellent particularly at the breakfast and at the reception. Giacomo added expressos on our last day before our trip back to airport. Everyone at reception were very helpful and very pleasant to deal with. They automatically lent us umbrellas when we just arrived and wanted to go out but it was raining hard. They also provide useful info during our stay and efficiently got us taxis for our travel to Vatican City (about €12 for the 15-min ride) and back to the airport (about €60 for the 30-min ride). Hotel location is excellent with 2 Italian restaurants just in front (3 more within 5 minute walk) and about 10-25 minute walk to most of the sites including Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Coliseum, Roman Forum, Palatine and Pantheon.

Though hotel is very clean, it needs to improve on certain room upkeeps. The paint on 1 wall of our room came off and certain light switches don’t work anymore with plate covering it already coming off. I also recommend having USB ports to directly charge iPhones and iPads.

Breakfast had a good variety (there were eggs, bacon, sausages, vegetables, cheese, yogurts, fruit, bread, cakes) and the staff was always keeping an eye and stocking any items that were about to be low. The rooms were really nice and a good size for 2 people to stay quite comfortably. Location was amazing. Close to all the attractions and also close to a nice shopping street. Giacomo makes the best cappuccino in the world. All staff was very nice and had always a smile on their face.

The only thing (and this is personal as I drink a lot of tea and coffee) is that they could have more tea and coffee in the room in case we want. But to be honest I did not ask for more than what we had added daily to our room so.

Location was central. Comfortable bed. Well decorated. Friendly staff.

We had a family room. My only issue was that shower/bathroom did not have a door which really isn't great when you are with kids. No privacy. They did have a screen but still not great. Perhaps a door could be put in.

Very good breakfast, many restaurants around but on a quiet street, modern setting , friendly and knowledgeable staff! Appreciated their recommendations on places to eat!

It is not in a very chic area and there is little they can do about that!

We liked that we were slightly out of the city centre, although within close walking distance to the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain and the Colosseum. The staff were friendly and attentive. Rooms were spacious and air conditioned.

There was nothing that we didn't like

The location of the Hotel is perfect. It's a 10-minute walk to Colosseum and a 15-minute walk to the Trevi fountain. The bus station is right on the corner and with a 5-minute ride, you arrive at the main station. The room we stayed in was sufficiently big enough to accommodate 2 people. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. The overall cleanliness of the hotel is perfect. I definitely recommend.

It would be nice to see slippers and toothpaste included in the toiletries. The lighting of the room is quite poor. Using a light table as a main lighting source is a really bad idea.
