Excellent location for all attractions as well as restaurants and shops. Wonderful, helpful staff throughout the hotel, always ready to help. Excellent breakfasts with fresh and high quality ingredients. There were even fresh berries. Clean room, lovely linens and towels and comfortable bathroom. A bit pricey but the hotel is worth the money. But even with the small shortcomings described below, I definitely recommend the hotel.

The hotel building is located on a narrow street and if the window is open, then even the quiet conversations of passers-by are very audible, not to mention transport. But when closed, you can't hear it. Under the window of our room there was some kind of luminous panel, so even at night it was quite light. But this is not directly related to the work of the hotel. Sometimes there was a smell of sewage in the bathroom, but not strong.

The staff is really welcoming and friendly. They made us feel at home and were there to help with whatever we needed. Always smiling :) The location is excellent, close to everything and it was probably the best thing we could ask for. We traveled anywhere by foot from the hotel, maximum distance to any site was up to 25 minutes, letting us cover the whole city without ever needing to use a taxi or public transportation. The room is very stylish and clean, beds and pillows are very comfortable. Breakfast is tasty and the variety is good. Will definitely recommend this place and hope to come back soon!

The room was comfortably sized and well laid out. The breakfast was good but needed an upgrade on the expresso machine. The staff were cheerful and very helpful recommending restaurants. The hotel is very well located in Roma and on a very quiet street. It appears to be recently renovated as it has a very modern entrance. Don't miss the view from the 6th floor.

The thermostat was difficult to adjust to keep a consistent temperature in the room. There are no inside lock on the entry door. The expresso machine at breakfast did not work very well in delivering a hot beverage.

A modern, charming boutique hotel in a very handy location. Our room had everything you need, a brilliant shower and bathroom, with eco friendly toiletries, fluffy white dressing gowns and slippers and a really good hairdryer. There was plenty of room in the wardrobe with loads of hangers and not the ones you have to fight with to use. It was all spotlessly clean and very quiet, with air conditioning that worked very well. Crisp high quality cotton sheets and room service that appeared twice per day. If I had one tiny issue, it was the bed was a bit too hard but that is personal preference. The hotel is in a quiet street in a central location, easy to walk to many sights and beside a taxi rank if you need it. 4 minute walk to Hostaria Romano, the best meal of our trip and there are many other bars and restaurants close by. Thank you to the team at Room Mate Filippo Hotel, we had a wonderful stay!

The hotel is modern, quiet and is in the heart of the rome center - walking distance from attractions like the spanish stairs, trevi, pantheon etc. staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast is supreb with lots of various selections. Rooms are sized and quiet. There are lots of nice restaurants in the nearby streets (so you don't need to get with the crowds in the busy center) This place gives great value for money.

Gym area does not have a water cooler

- The drying hanger in the bathroom was always working. - They had turndown service. - The bed & pillows were comfortable for me. - The location is ok.

- The carpet in the room had stains, when I requested to change the room, they said all the rooms are like that. - They only offer complementary water bottles on the first night. - They don’t refill everything in the coffee bar. It is really inconvenient to call the reception every morning asking for coffee creamer!

Room Mate Filippo is a clean, modern property in the heart of Rome with good access to the various neighborhoods and sites. Our room was spacious with a large comfortable bed, sizable closet and small desk. We found the gift of a good bottle of sparkling wine and fruit upon entering our room -- always appreciated after a long day of train travel! The bathroom was especially well-lighted and spacious with good water pressure in the shower and nice amenities. We appreciated the eye toward sustainability! The hotel staff were kind, very friendly and competent. The breakfast staff were especially friendly, and the included breakfast options were varied and healthy. A well-appointed fitness center was an excellent amenity.

When making our reservation, we requested a room with good light and a street view (if a little noisy okay by us) and were put in a first floor room that had bars on the windows and was quite dark during the day due to proximity to buildings all around. While the staff acknowledged they had received our request and offered to move us to a higher floor on our second day, it's not ideal to settle into one room and then move to another so we opted to stay put. Again the room was quite nice, but some outside light (and no bars on windows) would have been preferable. On a smaller note, we really like our coffee in the morning and especially in Italy have come to expect it. The coffee machine in the breakfast room made lukewarm, not good coffee.

Staff was truly excellent, above and beyond. They really made sure we were completely set. Then the room: this is how you design a hotel room. Spacious, with plenty of shelf and closet space that clearly was thought through, and beautiful. It was silent, perfectly ac’d. Location was great, close to the action but not on a busy street. Would 100% stay here again. I truly hope that they are able to open the bar soon!

The room is very clean, especially the bathroom and the beds. The staff speak English fluent enough to provide excellent service. location is 9/10, just 5 minutes walk away from the Spanish steps, and around 10-25 min of walk from the other famous tourist attractions. The breakfast is nice and serves till 12:00 PM everyday.

The only improvement should be the breakfast menu. Although the breakfast buffet offered multiple options, I definitely hope for a bit of variety everyday. We stayed for 3 nights and we had the exact same breakfast for 3 days.

As all prevised reviews wrote: Best staff, location, decoration, breakfast, clean big and light room, amazing view from the roof and more.. The one extra rate that we gave this hotel is because we had unique and unexpected experience. In covid-19 period it can happened to everyone. We made PCR - COVID test, that we needed to do, before flying back home. Unfortunately, I was positive and my wife negative. We both vaccinated and had no symptoms. We were afraid from the hotel staff reaction when we will tell them that I'm positive and we need to be isolated. Until we will do another test and will be negative. When we booked the hotel I not though about this scenario... So... It were better then home quarantine: 1. Huge welcome from all the staff (Alice, Julia, Miriam, Roberto sorry to forgot all the names and of course the General Manger - Steven. 2. They help us to fell at home and take care for all our needs: Food: they order for us lunch and Dinner from large restaurants varieties. And served daily hotel breakfast to our room. Help us to find a new Covid (PCR) test company that came to our room. Were beyond the room when we taken the test. Help with our questions and translation. Follow up with everything we need for 24/7. All the time keep deeply all the Sanitary and the social distance. Leave near the door all our need and gave us a call to be sure that we took it and if all is o.k. The room is big and the bathroom was big too with a huge window as well as the room. They keep the room for us as much as we need (It was unknown) and not even ask for payment. This new hotel and each employee at this hotel deserved the rate 11 that we gave them !!! We will remember you for forever :) Dana and Danny.
