Best Western Hotel San Marco

the pleasant reception and the servicelevel of the personnel > at the desk, during breakfast and the chambermaids, all very pleasant and smiling. the room was clean, no noise from other clients, and can be reached by elevator. breakfast was good, not overdone, but good coffee and lots of yoghurts, fresh fruit and sweet cakes. the location of this Best Western is very useful for visitors of the old city Siena, there is a frequent busservice from across the street. the bus, no 54 takes you into the city-center in 5 minutes:piazza Indipendenza. it runs until about 8.30 pm, so if you leave later you just take a taxi back to the hotel, that costs about 12 euros.

The hotel is conveniently located for those traveling by car. The center of Siena is accessible on foot, with a walk taking approximately 25 minutes. However, it should be noted that part of the route lacks a sidewalk along the busy road.

- The personel arrangement is somewhat too rational, with the same personnel handling both the reception and breakfast service simultaneously. - The tables in the breakfast area are arranged with two seats each and it's worth mentioning a strange incident during breakfast, namely the very strict "receptionist/waitress lady" did not allow a four-member French family to combine two tables and sit together...

A modern and bright hotel with rooms of a good size. The room had a good number of power points and the lighting was better than that in many other hotel rooms. The room had a kettle. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are 2 good restaurants within about 50 metres of the hotel. The bus (number 54) to Siena centre was both frequent and surprisingly easy to use: you can get one way tickets (€1.50 each from reception). Easy and ample parking. Extremely easy access from the motorway.

No dislikes: I would both recommend this hotel & stay there again if I’m back in the area.

Excellent room. Great location, 25 minutes walking from Siena center, but there is bus as well. 1,50 Euros The room is excellent, king size bed, comfortable, It has a mini fridge, electrical outlets everywhere. Excellent soundproofing. The shower is great, large bathroom with shaving mirror. Very good Breakfast; amazing staff. Tv and WIFI.

The rooms were clean and comfy. The staff was extremely nice, one of the ladies advised us what and where to eat. The hotel made a good impression on us.

The shower was leaking (a lot) and I had to ask for help to clean the floor. I wish there was more space in the room to open the suitcase (the big one). Also, there could be more fresh vegetables at the breakfast.

Very good hotel, perfect value for money. The staff is great, everyone is very nice and helpful. The location is great too, the beach is a few minutes walk away. The centre is also within walking distance, but there are plenty of restaurants, bars and entertainment nearby. We had a great time and are grateful to the staff for their kindness and helpfulness! We can only recommend the hotel, we will definitely return here :)

The perfect place to stay when visiting Siena! The staff is very very helpful and nice, the room is just perfect: clean and comfy, WiFi working well, free parking in front of the hotel. You have a buss each 15 minutes going to the center of Siena so it is easy to get around. You can get buss tickets from the reception so no fuss. Thee breakfast is just great!

Fresh, clean and modern interior. On-site parking and ample spaces. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Fairly close to walk into Siena - approximately a 30 minute walk. There is a bus stop nearby and Reception can provide and map and details.

A drain smell in the bathroom, this wasn’t anything to do with the cleanliness of the bathroom, the smell definitely came up from the drains in room 119. Perhaps a little further to walk (and all up hill!) than had been anticipated but wasn’t a huge issue.

We Truly liked this hotel. The location was perfect for people who have a car and want to do day trips thru Tuscany, because of accessibility to highways. The hotel was renovated, Extremely clean, and staff were superb ( warm, Considerate, efficient and hard working). Breakfast was excellent. It was a pleasant experience for us. Sherry & Barry

Pictures and information about the room and the hotel are correct. Everything is clean and tidy. The staff is professional and very helpful. There are a couple of restaurants and fast food restaurants near the hotel. Fontebrand and the entrance to Siena’s old part are around a 25-minute walk away. Parking is large and free. Free WiFi is great

I have nothing to complain about. The only thing that confused us was the name of the hotel, we were looking for a logo from Best Western. The name of the hotel is Hotel San Marco
