This place is a gem! The staff at the reception was friendly and polite. Samuel showed us around and ensured all our questions were answered. Our room was very classy - in the traditional Tuscan style. The bed was huge and comfortable. It felt like we were in the heart of the nature, yet the city was a walking distance away. Borgo Grondaie has a beautiful landscape and the swimming pool was definitely a bonus. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and the options were plenty. We parked our car in the carpark and had no issues whatsoever. We'll be definitely coming back!

Incredibly nice greenery surrounding with accomodation in the complex of typical rural houses, however, with full comfort. And supplemented with outdoor swimming pool among bushes, olive trees and flowers, underlined with a perfect view on the old Siena city. Absolutely quiet place located 10 min. by car from the Siena Dome. Perfect personel, net and helpful.

I would welcome more various breakfast offer ("heartier" meals and larger portions). Possibility to pre-order in the app what to have for breakfast is an economic and ecological solution but we are pretty used to have some kind of a buffet.

The whole place is just a wonderful place to stay - so peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Such beautiful surroundings, too. Every member of staff we met were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. A huge thank you to them for making our stay so comfortable. The location - proximity to train station, Siena City, local shops - is fantastic. Very easy to find the property and get to and from - especially good if you are not in a car (which we weren't). Breakfast was lovely - plentiful and very filling. We loved the coffee! A good range of food to choose from. Lots of places around the property to sit and relax during the day or evening. The pool is such a bonus and so lovely to relax beside. Our room was large and very comfortable. Air conditioned - which was very welcome during our stay as it was so hot during the day.

I loved this place! Great pool, beautiful and spacious garden, extremely friendly staff that helped us out with planning trips and activities. Very nice hotel room with great aircondition. Close to Coop supermarket, which was very positive. We where allowed to bring our own drinks and snacks to the pool area. The breakfast was overall great!

For my comfort, the bed and pillows was too hard. But, this was not a problem for my boyfriend. I also wished there was more varity in the hot foods at breakfast, like bacon, beans, boiler eggs or fried eggs. But, otherwise, it was great! The location is overall good, but the taxi was expensive so we ended up walking a lot to Siena city center. Takes 20-25min one way. There is however an escalator up the hills by the trainstation, but we didnt find it before the last day unfortunately.

The room was lovely and we had a huge kitchen / lounge area! The staff were friendly and helped me with my washing when it was raining! Pool area lovely and great value for money.

The breakfast order was extra (totally fine) however we felt we could only order one thing and felt pressured to not order more. Some tables had everything and we would have liked to feel we could have ordered the full spread too. The location was only 20 minutes from the city centre but important to notes it’s a bit of a walk

The location was perfectly convenient right on the outskirts of Siena and conveniently near a grocery store, and an excellent steak restaurant. They provided good coffee and their pool is clean and surrounded by nice landscaping. It was convenient that they offered on site, laundry facilities as we had been traveling for a week and needed to wash our clothes. It’s worth noting that drying the clothes is probably best done on the clothes lines they provide in the sunlight. 

The rooms are extremely outdated. The furnishings, cabinetry floors and fixtures all are in need of updating. The buildings themselves are lovely so with a conscious renovation of the style and design of the interiors this property could be excellent. Also, the breakfast that is provided is not recommended. You can find excellent places to eat just inside the city, and on a trip to Italy, it is very worth it to make sure every meal is a stellar experience 

It is a beautiful accommodation on the hill above Siena, with a great view, spacious apartments with well-equipped kitchen and lovely pool. The breakfast directly at the terrace in front of the apartment was an amazing experience, definitely worth the money.

It is really a big hassle to order a breakfast. Even if you manage to read in the QR code, ordering each and every thing from a rather generous menu is time consuming and not something someone would like to do during his/her vacation time. It does not help that needs to be done the day before. I am sorry, but using environmental friendly approach to justify this approach is somehow vague. Having something like breakfast types, or clusters of food (e.g. cereals, salty, sweat...) would accelerate the whole process.

We recently booked an apartment at Progo Grondaie in Tuscany Siena for our family vacation and it exceeded all our expectations. The view from the property was absolutely stunning, with panoramic vistas of rolling hills and the city. The rooms were charming and tastefully decorated, providing a cozy retreat after exploring the enchanting streets of Siena. The breakfast offerings were delightful, featuring fresh pastries, local cheeses, and seasonal fruits. However, what truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible assistance and guidance provided by Gaia, the host. She went above and beyond to recommend must-visit attractions and hidden gems, ensuring we made the most of our three days in Siena. We highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking to experience the beauty and charm of Tuscany while receiving exceptional service.

everything was great, just a note , the hotel is more than 30 min walk from the city , we had a car so it was perfect for us . if you don’t have a car it might not be very close.

The staff were so friendly and accommodating for our entire stay. They were so helpful and went out of their way to fulfil our every need. The room was excellent and very comfortable, and even had a balcony. The location was excellent with outstanding pool and facilities. The walk into the old town was reasonably long but certainly not a big issue. Being close to a Coop supermarket was also an advantage. Parking for our hire car was a breeze.

Everything was amazing, from the staff to the facilities to the location. This is truely the best place to stay to explore Tuscany. Short walking distance from the train station and the bustling old town of Siena but has a big enough property to make you feel like you are truly in the Tuscan countryside. The pool and the view is amazing along with the little spot to watch sunset. Breakfast is great and a must and the staff are so unbelievable helpful. I will be back for sure.
