The location was good, great views of the lake. The breakfasts, which surprisingly were included , were excellent|: great choice of food, fresh meats, fruit, cereals, bread, cake, Twinings Breakfast tea! and a wonderful breakfast area, outdoors (or indoors) with lots of little sparrows for company. The pool and surounding area was amazing, lots of loungers - ratio of more than two per room (I worked out that there were only about 31 rooms) - lots of trees for shade, and access to a small private beach. Car park was free except for fairly high tax.

Would have perhaps liked to see a lighter menu for lunch at the hotel. It was a long walk up and down hills into main area of town for food.

Beautiful location at the end of the Sirmione peninsula. Get a room with a view and you can see up Lake Garda during sunset. The pool is located in an olive grove, and there is also private access down to the public beach - sensational! You get extra towels every time you visit from the kind reception staff. Breakfast selection was huge, and we had supper here one night and it was delicious.

Our room was a little small, and we only got one pillow each on the bed, but this was solved when we asked for more.

The location was fab although a bit of a trek when walking with luggage, there’s a buggy train just after the shops which you can catch if you want and drops you just by the hotel as it’s the furthest point. There is private access to the beach down lots of steps but we weren’t keen when we got there, I would recommend walking down to Jamaica beach instead, reception can direct you and it’s not far👍

The location of this hotel was fantastic: it was close to the beach below and a nice distance from the hectic streets of Sirmione, whilst being close enough to wander in easily. There was also a lovely terrace on which to enjoy meals and drinks and the pool area was very spacious. Staff were really helpful with any queries we had and gave us suggestions for where to eat out. The room was a great size.

It would have been nice to have the option to have 2 pillows each. Also, there was a mix up with payment (unclear whether booking.com or the hotel were responsible) which meant we ended up paying more than we were quoted - in future I would make sure to pay at the property to avoid this hidden cost.

This location is amazing. It's beautiful and so convenient to the ruins, the beach, and the town. It had beautiful sunsets and a lovely pool set within the olive grove. Breakfasts were good with many options. We ate dinner once and it was excellent.

The rooms themselves do not match the lovely amenities of the rest of the hotel and the gorgeous location. I would choose to return anyway, but the rooms are very basic and the beds were hard as a board. The balcony furniture is basic and the chairs in the rooms are plastic. It would be easy to have it be much more comfortable, and it seems an odd decision to have it be so stark.

Absolutely the best spot on the Sirmione peninsula: far enough from the noisy old town (and the distance gives you an opportunity to flex after a decent supper), close as possible to the unique stone beaches, Roman villa, olive grove and walking trail. Going there through the town’s narrow streets on a taxi van was a thing of its own - try it :) Breakfast was pretty much okay, with fruits and all you need to be fed, but don’t expect too much. All in all, Sirmione is a real must go place for a long weekend, and this hotel is the best value for money we could find there.

Room wasn’t cleaned after first night for some reasons, but that wasn’t too bad for us.

Ideal by name, ideal by nature. Wonderful hotel - great swimming pool but also close to the beach and historic site. Wherever you went there was a view of the lake. The staff, in particular Simon, Sebastian, and Alessandro were marvellous and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a pleasant stay.

We would have appreciated access to TV news channels in English.

The hotel has a fabulous view and the room was great, the bed was a little hard and pillows too firm but I asked for a softer pillow and they did this promptly. I would recommend the hotel

The breakfast was very good but most mornings we had to wait for the kitchen to replenish the eggs which took a while, also there was only one type of egg, maybe a variety would be nice. The rest of the breakfast was very good

Location was amazing and lovely helpful staff. The hotel grounds were also very nice

Toilets bt the pool were dark and damp. Needed pool service for drinks. A couple of communal toilets didn't have toilet paper

Nice clean hotel, with good facilities and nice area around the pool. Good breakfast choice and walking distance to the centre. The town itself is lovely with nice restaurants

The beach is not a beach but rocks, pictures were not clear enough. Getting to the hotel is tight through the town streets, it was closed for a few hours so need time your arrival correctly
