The triple room with a huge terrace was very beautiful. The breakfast was okay but the pie wasn't good enough. The staff was very kind. At the restaurant you had limited choices but it was overall fine, we liked the Maccaroni with Ragu and Rosemary. Pet friendly.

If you travel with a dog and get the triple room ants may appear. Otherwise everything was okay.

Hard beds and I thought there was a 25 euro dinner voucher included per person so was surprised with the extra bill at the end.

We got a lovely upgrade to our room and ended up with a double suite on the top floor of the old house. It was beautiful. Friendly welcoming staff, the place was spotless and the food fabulous. I wish we had gone when it was warmer so that we could've used one of the 2 pools! Next time! Perfect location and plenty of parking. It's a good 25ish minutes stroll to the old town centre.

If I was being really picky it might have been nice to have a mini bar or tea / coffee making facilities in the room but the restaurant onsite did great coffee anyway so it's not a great loss.

Wardrobe was broken with a sign saying don't touch lol, so nowhere to hang clothes or safe ( if there was one?) Slightly longer walk to the centre than we anticipated about 30 mins but it was so pleasant a walk you didn't mind

Villa Pioppi is an excellent boutique hotel with an attached restaurant. The staff takes special care of the property and the hotel's amenities. The setting of the hotel was absolutely stunning with the perfectly maintained pools and right on the lake. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a friend! Very easy walk to all that Sirmione has to offer. Easy 15 minute drive to train station and plenty of free parking for your rental car.

Please keep in mind that the building is old and there will be some flaws created over time, such as leaking rain water during heavy rains, but staff was more than ready to assist with cleanup. I would also recommend trying to get the booking package that includes breakfast. 13 Euro a day, per person was a little steep. But, it was delicious with plenty of options.

Exceptional hotel set in a beautiful old renovated building. It also has a modern addition which is separate from the old building. But one can see that great care was taken when this property was converted in a hotel. Great location in the city of Sirmione, outside the historic centre but close enough. The hotel has large private grounds, and therefore very tranquil and relaxing. Stunning view of Lake Garda, and hotel is also surrounded by lush greenery. Our room was in the new section, with modern design and comforts. We had a room for 3 and it was huge.. it had a private entrance, a large terrace, and a very comfortable bathroom with a large shower. I also liked that we could regulate the room temperature rather than having central heating. Private car park with plenty of parking. The pool area is beautiful, right on the edge of the lake, where one can enjoy the sunset. A restaurant is also available on site and is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The buffet breakfast is truly good with a generous choice of both savoury and sweet items. One evening we also enjoyed an exceptionally good meal with very reasonable prices. I would also add this hotel is probably great and very safe for families. My 5 year old really enjoyed herself, especially watching the ducks and various other birds that often landed in the property. All in all, exceptionally good value for money.. it exceeded my expectations by quite a lot

There's nothing I disliked - it was perfect in everything. I do have one suggestion - it would be nice if the fridges in the rooms are stocked with drinks, even just water. Since I travel a lot, I appreciate finding drinks available in the room rather than having to get my own drinks

Thin walls/doors, but noise died down at a reasonable time. Bed comfort, ok.

A gorgeous hotel with wonderful surroundings. The view from our room, which was in one of the bungalows with what felt like a private pool, was stunning, spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel itself is a stunning period building, with a huge restaurant overlooking Lake Garda. We checked in very late at night due to a delayed flight and the reception were very helpful. We also went slightly out of season (mid Sept) and so other restaurants were shut by 10pm, however the hotel restaurant remained open until 11pm. The selection of meals and wines is plentiful and delicious. Was an extremely comfortable stay and excellent value for money.

The only two downsides were, the breakfast was somewhat disappointing. Not a huge selection of foods, it was the same each day and speciality coffees, such as a cappuccino or latte, are not included in the breakfast price and so you pay upon check out. However, there is champagne and orange juice in the morning which is a nice bonus. The location is within walking distance of the centre of Sirmione however getting anywhere else can be a challenge and it is around a 20 minute walk to a bus stop. Taxis are also not that frequent.

Detached villa, private parking on the property, restaurant open all day, excellent and traditional cuisine, very friendly staff, comfortable bed, large room and well-equipped bathroom. Our room with large terase. Definitely a great place to stay in summer (we were here in winter). Ideal location.

In the shower corner, a strange solution of a thermostatic head without the possibility to adjust the temperature. Upper floor (attic) is probably less accessible for people with mobility disabilities. But otherwise absolutely no negative comments.

The location was wonderful. Walking distance to the castle of Sirmione. There are two pools, though they were both unheated, so unusable during our stay. Our room was more than adequate for our family of four. Our room didn't have a view, but the comfortable accommodations made up for it. Free parking was appreciated.

Breakfast options were limited, though what was offered was good. Would have been nice if the "hot tub" in the pool was actually heated, or if there was heating in one of the two pools.
