We loved the apartment and the fantastic location in marina piccolo. It is beautifully appointed and decorated in a maritime theme in accordance with the owner’s passion for sailing. It has been beautifully renovated by his daughter with the latest improvements and has a wonderful deck overlooking the marina. However, by far the best thing about this property is the owner, Federico. I can’t say enough about how warm and welcoming he was. He made recommendations for restaurants and helped secure reservations. He helped us in so many ways. We enjoyed sharing stories about the history of Sorrento and the history of his family, which are deeply intertwined. He shared with us his passion for sailing which permeates the property and which gives him great joy. We would heartily recommend this property and Federico to anyone traveling to Sorrento.

Absolutely everything! we had an incredible stay here, I did not want to leave. check in was easy, host gave us lots of advice as it was our first time in the area, no question or help was too much lady serving breakfast was fantastic so friendly and helpful our room was simply incredible, the terrace overlooking the sea was the perfect place for an evening drink or to eat your breakfast. room was spacious and spotless every day we stayed in a number of hotels in Italy and this was by miles the best!

Beautiful location right at the beachfront Federico the manager was extremely kind and helpful as were all the staff. Room was large and the bed was comfortable with ample amenities. Great price when compared to the other accommodation on offer. The only difference was the specific location, the very expensive places obviously open out to the main strip in Sorrento whereas here you must take a 5 or so minute walk up the hill and up some steps. Perhaps a bit much if you are a bit older but we didn’t find it bad at all and there is a lift at a cost of €2 which takes you to the top. Air conditioner was quiet and it was a quiet area which made it easy to sleep. Water pressure in the shower was good and although hot water took a little while once hot it didn’t run out and stayed hot.

Very little, it was all great. I would say the breakfast that is offered is limited, with a simple buffet selection of bread/cereal/ham. Some of these items were a little stale. Although we were told at check in we could have some items made to order like eggs etc we were never offered this.

Absolutely lovely place to stay: it was tranquil and off the crowded areas of Sorrento. the most amazing part was I could hear the water lapping on the shore as I’d fall asleep. the deck off my room overlooking the beach and marina got the morning sun and the comfy deck chairs allowed me to truly relax. the breakfast was incredible!!! Lydia even made me fresh squeezed orange juice with Sorrento Oranges. every morning there was fresh cut fruit and a specially cooked hot dish- soufflé one morning!! plus all the standard offerings and yummy cakes. I could go into the kitchen at anytime to get myself coffee, tea and fruit. I booked a boat to Capri which was such a better way to see the island- incredible experience-and Frederick loaned me a beach towel and backpack for the trip. I will only stay here in the future.

it is a hike uphill which I LOVED- 3 different sets of stairs to choose from. but there’s also an elevator and many buses if you don’t like to walk. this distance was actually a positive as the area was so quiet at night.

The location was amazing, we had a stunning view from our balcony, which was as perfect in the morning as at the end of the day. The hosts were very friendly and came and found us when wandering around trying to find the place. Perfect base for catching any ferries as well as spending the day at a beach club. Easy to get back up to the town either by foot if you’re willing & able or by lift if not. Breakfast was lovely, especially when enjoying from the balcony with the beautiful view

We enjoyed the location, it was away from the main centre of sorrento so was nice and peaceful and so lovely to overlook the water. The owner was very helpful in organising transfer for us as well as a great day trip out to Capri. The breakfasts were great and the staff so lovely.

Only thing would be having to pay for the lift up but also that the que to go into it was not worth it on a busy day. We were fine to take the stairs up it was really manageable and had points to stop and enjoy the view

The location is amazing, it’s easy to access ferries and we think Sorrento is the perfect base for this part of Italy. The accommodation feels very personal and the detail in everything is brilliant. The bed was by far the most comfortable we have had on our travels, the room is cleaned daily, it’s relaxing and the breakfast is a great way to start the day.

We really enjoyed our stay in the Yacht Club. Our host Federico was so helpful and offered us great advice for sightseeing and trips. He organised our boat trip to Capri which was one of the highlights. Lydia made us lovely fresh breakfast every morning and it varied daily. I would highly recommend the Yacht club as a base for touring the area.

Breakfast was wonderful! Lydia made the best eggs and other warm dishes. There were plenty variety of food-yogurt, croissant, cereals, sweet pastries, fruity drinks, coffee,…. The best location if you plan to use the ferries as a main transportation. We had the beautiful view of the port and the water.

There isn’t much to say about what we did not like.

The location was perfect, right next to the port providing us with the ability to catch a boat along the coast or Capri. Walking distance to the shops and restaurants of Sorrento. The staff were exceptional and made the experience very personal. We will definitely be back!!
