Location and the interior..very clean modern and cozy

Not to complain but be aware that the walk to hotel takes almost 25 mins from main station ( who will complain abt a walk in Venice ?)...alternatively take water bus to rivalto bridge stop and then its few mins walk to the hotel

Another great stay at this hotel. Rooms are nice, location fabulous. Can’t say enough about how wonderful the staff are, so kind & helpful at every turn.

Carpets in rooms need deep cleaning or replacing. Not the fault of housekeeping, who are excellent. Weird that they hand copy your credit card # to a little piece of Post It style paper at check-in. Asked about it & they said I could watch them tear it up at end of stay, but who had access to this written # during my stay? Don’t remember this practice during my first stay there.

Perfectly situated, very close to the Vaporetto station from and to the train station, the Rialto bridge, the Duomo, the Gondolas, in the center of everything. Beautiful room and spacious and bright bathroom, all clean and comfortable. Double bed could a bit short for someone tall, but it was really wide! We had room 304 which had a large balcony in front of the bed, with a nice city & landmark view, and the bathroom also had access into the balcony. Good soundproofing, no noise from outside or from other rooms. I would recommend it, and would come back here anytime!

In Venice, of course everyone wants to avoid the crush of tourists - but you also want to make the most of it. Location is key and this one is great. Close to everything but just a touch off the beaten path. Easy access to Rialto stop for the Alilaguna to/from airport. Cheerful staff and great facilities especially for the price (TWO elevators, excellent room climate control, classic Venetian furnishings, nice rooftop bar). Concierge recommendations on dining were also terrific. Would definitely return.

Room was outstanding, with many little extras, including complimentary champagne. Roof top patio very nice place to relax at the end of the day. Great value for the money. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location both from Rialto water taxi dock to the hotel and from hotel to the the piazza San Marko. Even had porter service from hotel to water taxi - that's how close it is. This hotel made our stay in Venice a very enjoyable experience!

There was nothing to dislike.

The hotel is well-situated, close to a stop for both the airport water taxi and the vaporetto, so it is easy to travel from this area to anywhere else you need to go, but it is not in a heavily-trafficked spot so the front entry is calm yet easy to find. I was pleasantly surprised by how nice the room and the bathroom were, and by the amount of space. It is Venice, so it's not overly large, but it was comfortable and practical. The staff at the hotel were all lovely, helpful, and gracious. And the rooftop terrace had a perfect view for a final good-bye drink before leaving to the airport.

Immediately outside of my door was the door to the stairwell, and every time someone opened it to come through, it sounded as though they were about to come into my room, which was unnerving after first arriving and not knowing what all the noise was about, but it wasn't constant and quieted down. My first night I was then kept awake by multiple mosquitoes flying around my ear and then biting me. It took some time to find them to rid the room of them when I really could have used the sleep. Also, the shower curtains are very billowy, so when using the overhead shower, they ballooned into the shower space, sticking to me. I found it much better to use the handheld shower sprayer instead.

It’s in a great location right near the Rialto Bridge so very central to all the sites in Venice (especially close to St Mark’s Square). The staff were very welcoming and assisted us greatly with canal tours and a private boat transfers. The room was larger than we expected and the bed and pillows were heavenly. The Commedia’s rooftop bar – it was a hotel highlight and a sanctuary from the crowds down below.

The breakfast buffet had fewer options compared to what we’d experienced elsewhere on our travels. There’s also a charge for eggs done any other way than scrambled.

We are world travellers and can honestly say this hotel surpassed our expectations. Located close to St Marks and Rialto bridge/ferry. Staff amazing and helpful, cleanliness and room facilities 5 star. Breakfast varied plentiful and tasty. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff from reception to the bar, from the bellhop to the breakfast staff. A brilliant stay with huge comfortable bed and luxurious fitments and bath accessories.

Nothing at all - a first class experience in every aspect

We loved the hotel. Our room was quiet with two nice windows. The bed was very comfortable. The decor is somewhat formal yet updated. The bathroom was large with a good-sized tub and great shower. The location is fantastic: close to the Rialto Bridge and vaporetto stop yet tucked on block back from the Grand Canal. We arranged in advance to be met at the airport by a driver who took us to a water taxi. When the water taxi arrived at the Rialto Bridge, a person from the hotel was there to take our bags. We never had to lift our quite heavy suitcases. Everyone at the hotel was helpful.

Such a beautiful hotel. Filled with old-world charm but also right up there with modern conveniences. Very easy to get to the Rialto taxi stop and a quick 1 minute walk to the Rialto Bridge and 5 min walk to St Mark's Square.

My only comment is the bathtub in our room was something to be navigated very carefully. You had to REALLY step up AND into it to gain access to the shower as this was a combo unit and there was nothing to hang onto to get into or out of the tub. Be very careful and perhaps the hotel could (should?) consider a grab bar for even their youngest customers...but especially for their older ones.
