We stayed for two nights visiting Verona with our family. The hotel is very close to the centre - literally a few minutes walk to the arena. The hotel has everything you need, with well portioned rooms, a little bar area downstairs and a lovely breakfast area. Some of the decor is somewhat old fashioned but in our view it fits with the style of the area. Breakfast had a nice selection of breads, cakes, eggs and other bits. Without a doubt though the best thing about the hotel was the staff. Everyone we met from the owners, reception staff, breakfast team, and the night porter, were just absolutely lovely. They always asked how we were, what we’d been up to and offered advice on the area. They were great with the kids and remembering how much they’d enjoyed one type of biscuit - and offered them a packet the next morning. They recommend some attractions and restaurants nearby which were all fantastic!

Breakfast was good Staff were very attentive. I had a creature in my room after leaving the balcony door open for hours - oops. A member of staff came up to get rid of it for me, he was very friendly. I stayed in a single room which had an amazing balcony, but it was more like a terrace. A lovely place to sit and watch the sun as it sets. Great location - a short walk from Juliet's House.

The toilet didn't flush during my stay...

Charming hotel with the kindest hosts! Great location. situated close to main attractions and the bus/train station, everything is within a ~1km radius. The well-designed hotel exudes loveliness with thoughtful details throughout. The standout, however, is the hosts, who go above and beyond to guide you with maps and detailed recommendations for each day. Breakfast in a delightful room with Italian music sets the perfect atmosphere, offering a buffet with hot beverages and tasty cappuccino. Also, they're attentive to requests, securing for us a calm room with a nice view of buildings and the main road, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep.

The hotel was in a suitable location between the train station and the city centre so it’s very easy to reach both areas. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. They let me leave my luggage at the hotel after the check out. Room was very clean.

The breakfast included mainly pastries so it didn’t impress me. During the morning there was a lot of noise that could easily wake you up, if for some reason you wanted to stay in. The stay was overall nice but i think for the facilities offered ,the room was overpriced.

We had a very happy 9 days stay at the Albergo Trento. The hotel is very close to the Arena and the main centre of Verona, which is a wonderful city. It was also close to the railway station, about 20 minutes walk. The continental breakfast was just right for us, and set us up for the day. The bathroom was modern and the shower was excellent. Wi-Fi was easy to set up and did not have to be reset every day. AC worked well and kept us cool at night. The reception desk staff were always friendly and helpful. We would happily stay there again if we go back to Verona.

Nothing!

Location was perfect… a short 4-5 min walk into town on a straight road. Staff incredibly helpful and made some super recommendations including a fantastic restaurant which we visited: tocolo. Rooms were in accessible by a lift - but then down/up a couple of stairs. No problem for us , but worth mentioning if mobility is a concern. we had the flag room - noise from main road was inevitable but not off putting - perhaps ask not to be on that side if this is likely to bother you. We stayed in a room that would have quite comfortably suited a family of up to 4. Bathroom very modern. This hotel manages perfectly to capture the historical, the marble and narrow hallways, and the modern. The parking is a major bonus - a private car park just behind the hotel and a huge thanks to the hotel for allowing us to leave our car there while we explored the city on our last day. A bit more expensive than we’d have liked, but the extra perks and friendliness of staff make it worth it!

A fairly small family-run hotel, the Albergo Trento is excellently placed midway between Porta Nuova rail station and the centre of Verona. (Both about 15 mins walk.) Breakfast was even served in what seemed to have been the house dining room. Both Francesca and Andrea were really helpful on reception - as were all other members of the family.

My room could have done with a fridge - a simple one, not a mini-bar - given the hot weather in Verona. Wall sockets were too few: to charge my phone I had to unplug one of the room's devices.

A great location about 10 mins flat walk outside the historical part of the city. Free parking is in a small secured lot just behind the hotel. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. A range of restaurants nearby. Breakfast is varied and topped up as needed. We found that it was a good all round choice of accommodation.

The location is on a busy street so there is traffic noise. The traffic is not busy all night or too early in the morning.

Location was excellent, staff were just so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious! My room was at the back so it was nice and quiet, as the host suggested it would be. The staff were the best part of the stay.

Shower didn’t have a screen or curtain so made the bathroom very wet afterwards!

I recently stayed at this hotel through Booking and it was a fantastic experience. The check-in process was smooth and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The hotel's location was convenient for exploring the city, with easy access to public transportation and nearby attractions. One of the standout features of the hotel was the breakfast, which offered a great selection of fresh, delicious food to start the day. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the area.
