Room was very clean and spacious, we were on 10th floor, no noise at all. No issues using the lifts, plenty of them. Laundry facilities excellent. Large pool with plenty of sunbeds available. Excellenty situated hotel for ease of access to International Drive and surrounding area. Bus service to and from parks was outstanding, never waited more than 5 minutes on a bus. Staff extremely helpful.

We we’re in Orlando for a cheer competition, and the location of Dockside was great. A 5 minute ride to the convention center, 10 minutes to Sea World and the complimentary shuttle service to Universal was fantastic! We never waited more than 5 minutes :). The cafeteria style restaurant on site was perfect for quick meals. The pool was clean and had enough seating. The bar was understaffed with long wait times. We had a 2 bedroom room with a little kitchen which was perfect for us. There is no luxury at this hotel and as other reviewers have said it is sorely lacking in storage space (3 drawers for a room for 4-6 people was definitely NOT enough) but we made do with our suitcases in the under bed storage area. Overall if your main reason for travel is To visit Universal and/or Sea World with younger children I would recommend!

"The staff at the reception was super super nice, friendly, and willing to help. He provided very detailed, almost all the information that I needed, and was very patient. The room is very close to the hotel lobby (compare with the one in Disney, we need to walk a long way to the room building). The lobby food court also provide various of food. Free shuttle bus and earlier entrance to the park. Considering this as well as the price, it's a very worth option."

It would be better if we can get the Park Map from the hotel reception or anywhere in the hotel.

The facilities and location are excellent. The food in the restaurant was very good to excellent. The shuttle to the parks was very convenient.

The $15 per day for parking is a little excessive and could have been more clearly noted prior to confirming my reservation. I was caught off guard at check in.

- great location on iDrive - walking distance to local restaurants and shops- - shuttle to parks is really good bonus - our stay coincided with the hurricane and the staff were great, - pool area nice

Great location and access to parks via buses that you rarely had to wait for. Pools amazing, very clean property, laundry access great.

Long waits to get lifts, restaurant no organisation, always busy, never enough staff, food selection limited and refillable drinks machines all clustered on the same side and not refilled in the evening time. Quite noisy through ceilings for floors above, could hear people walking around quite loudly.

This was a great location with an excellent shuttle service to and from all the universal parks. The rooms were really clean and the housekeeping team were excellent. Pool areas were well kept, and although the hotel was extremely busy, it still didn't feel crowded due to the cleverly designed shared spaces. The rooms were also a great size.

The rooms lack clothes storage, There were only 3 of us stopping for a week and there were only 3 drawers and a small wardrobe in the separate bedroom for hanging clothes. The kitchenette was a fridge, microwave and small sink which had no cutlery or crockery. There was plastic cutlery and paper cups, but that's not ideal if you want to eat in your room at any point to try to save on the cost of eating from the food hall or other locations which is very expensive for a family if you do that every day.

Fabulous hotel, it’s the little extras that really make it. Free towels at the pool, the swim nappies, life vests. The safety aspect at the pool with the lifeguards and the multiple drills they do. The heated pool. Refillable cups are well worth it, Pier diner lovely and very responsibly priced. Staff were great and not in your face at all, lovely relaxed vibe. Rooms very comfortable with great facilities and perfect with young kids. Would highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay again, loved it.

One minor thing, the outdoor pool and bar area closes at 10pm weeknights and 11pm at the weekend. We really enjoyed sitting out having a drink in the evening enjoying the weather. Found moving into the lobby at 10pm not as nice with the high ceilings, loud atmosphere and air conditioning.

Staff tries hard. Love that there is no carpet. Stayed in suite, nice to have separate bedroom with its own TV.

Check-in took about 40 minutes for no apparent reason (including standing in line). Had a major spill in the room and requested a broom and dustpan but never got one. Twice we waited over 20 minutes for the shuttle to Universal. The only place to buy basic groceries like milk is the Walgreens on Universal Drive. It's only a 5-minute walk but it can't handle the huge crowds of guests from Dockside and Surfside. There are often huge lineups and they run out of milk. Although there's a microwave, the hotel only supplies disposable plastic dishes and flimsy cutlery. Recommend you bring your own. No recycling available.

house keeping were amazing like wonderwoman and their supervisors were all amazing, Actually all the house keepers that came to our room were all so friendly and very kind , Please take good care of your house keepers because of them we enjoyed our stay so much.

rude workers at the cafeteria, cashiers were all nice but the ones that give your food dont have the manners to serve food and all of them seems like they dont enjoy working there if so then they should not be there infront serving food and put them all at the back of the kitchen, We stayed their for 9days and everyday the faces that greets you when you ask for food were all horrible and no energy and NO manners to even say good morning like wtf !!!!!you ask whats in the food and they will tell you I DONT KNOW !!!!!!!!! and their faces my gosh pls smile atleast!!!!!!!!!the cashiers were all great excepts for the ones that serves your food !!!!!!!!!!!!
