The personal working there was really friendly and helpful. They even noticed that we weren’t at our room for two nights and asked our colleagues if everything was fine with us. So kudos. The place was clean and the room we‘ve had was excellent as we had a direct view of the sea.

The thing about this place is: You even get harassed by people selling tours in the resort and they are trying to sell you overpriced tours (that can be found on the internet for half the price or even way less). I found the state of how this situation in Hurghada itself is, really shocking and to even be harassed by these people when you pay a lot of money to relax and enjoy the sun is beyond crazy. They give you a red band, you can wrap this around your umbrella as you lay at the beach, but you‘ll still get annoyed as you walk peacefully around the resort. It just influenced our stay there so negatively, also the prices at the shop there were an absolute disaster.

Really nice architecture and rooms, great views, nice beach, helpful and friendly staff, all facilities are in good condition. They have good snorkelling facilities and if you go further out to the extreme left of their private beach the corals are amazing!. For less experienced ones you can also see fishes in the man made lagoons Breakfast was good They organize some entertainment events every evening which is fun

Food, specially in the a-la-carte restaurants was no where close to how it should be. Timings of gym and pools should be extended till late evenings or even midnight Menu / pastries in the cafe is the same on all days

very clean and very beautiful. The resort is likely built with locally mined stone. staffs are very friendly. Multiple beaches and snorkeling facilities in the resort.

Resort is quiet far from shopping centres and other facilities. Guests are not allowed to call uber taxi. You have to use the resort taxi which is roughly ten times more expensive than a uber taxi or a resort shuttle which go to the main shopping mall once a day. Resort shuttle is also five times more expensive than uber taxi. I often find myself trap in the resort and no choice but to use an expensive resort taxi. Also resort taxi service and other activities do not take card payment which is bit weird for a five star resort.

The view was fabulous and as the pictures. The food was excellent and delicious 😋 it exceeded my expectations. The place has plenty of swimming pools. Many places to sit and enjoy the view.

I went for my honeymoon with my wife If you are Egyptian, they're not all friendly. Some stuff were annoying. The honeymoon package is showing as flowers and candles. It's a scam they literally give me two robes and a small cake with a fruit plate. None of the decorations in the photos were presented. The beach was filled with rocks, and we could not swim.

Fabulous staff in restaurants, so helpful when my two year old was having tantrums 😅 Architecture was beautiful, resort has everything! Will definitely return next year.

Wished the restaurant accommodated children more I.e kiddy plates, cutlery, cups, more high chairs would have been a nice touch. Found the guest relation team unhelpful and rude. Chef doing the eggs in the Food Court Restaurant needs to smile more and a lesson in hygiene. On the last day I was served a raw omelette!

All Staff are very friendly and professional , fast check-in . very friendly , patient and cheerful front desk staff they attended all my requests Variety of restaurants and cuisines Beach , pools and entertainment team are outstanding 🙂 all the family was very happy , old and young generations Diving center is the best so far in hurghada and Sharm elsheikh. Bellboys are so helpful and attentive. Hotel front desk and operations Manager is really an asset for this place, very good listener and problem solver really cares about the brand and the experience you go back with. thanks all Pickalbatros Cidatel team for the unforgettable memories and experience and enjoyment me and my family had ! we really enjoyed our stay and defiantly planing for our next visit 🙂 I always believe that “ People always Come back for People , people don’t come back for places “ All the family was feeling bad leaving including me , it feels home after the first night 🙂

Allot of stairs and distance which might be hard for old people , however the hotel staff understood that I have my mother who is in her 70’s and the access to golf car was pretty easy and available all day . so it was not an issue at all 🙂

This resort was absolutely beautiful - the stone aesthetic fits beautifully with the location. Every corner was picturesque. The service was really good and the staff were so lovely and friendly - especially Mahmoud Helmy at the front desk who went above and beyond for us. The resort offers lots of entertainment such as: dance shows every night, American pool, table tennis, tennis, shisha, etc. The food was decent and had good variety, some dishes were better than others. The resort also had a late dinner restaurant which we found very helpful when we were out the entire day. The beach section was also amazing and having snorkeling equipment made it even better as there were so many fish to swim with. The room was amazing! The view was beautiful! Definitely going to miss this place and hopefully will come back in the future!

Some of the hotel services were expensive, such as diving and spa.

The hotel is an aesthetic marvel: it looks very nice, it has beaches, swimming pools, the place is very nice, the weather is excellent and there is a wide variety of activities that allow you to spend a very good time. It has beautiful corals, the staff in general is very friendly and the food is quite good.

The food offer varies little. Smoking is forbidden in the reception area, but tourists (mainly Russians) smoke anyway and no one says anything to them. The same in the swimming pools: there are rules that nobody respects and nobody enforces. A pity. Dancing activities for children take place at 8 pm in a smoking area, which is full of smoke. Frankly incomprehensible. The hotel is far away and you have to pay their cab service to get out of there, a service clearly overpriced and whose values are not visible to anyone. The same goes for the stores in the hotel's shopping center: very expensive. At the reception desk there is a guy named Mahmoud who is very rude and impolite. The rooms are in need of renovation.

There were several places to eat around and staggered during the day so no issue with having something to eat. The food was bland, the same spices, nothing to 'wow'. I could find always something to eat and not to go hungry - like tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes but nothing was done 'with love' - only once there was local pancakes filled with spinach that I found to be delicious. The drinks choice was limited, only towards the end of my stay the waiter from Columbus bar invented a lovely blue drink with small amount of alcohol that was tasty - definitely done 'with love'. As for coffees, one needs to drink them at Columbus bar which has proper tea-spoons as the whole hotel does not own metal spoons, only plastic disposable once and it is a HUGE problem to ask for a metal one. Besides, the waiters were all sad and working as if they were doing chores, no smiles or attitude to please - if somebody gives them a tip beforehand than they would hover around so it felt that there was a second market inside 5 star hotel to get a good service. The staff's attitude is definitely a let down in this hotel :(

The toilets do not have toilet paper in the dispensers !!!! Be prepared to use kitchen rolls !!!! No metal teaspoons apart from Columbus bar :( There seems there is a beautiful structural hotel but nothing is done 'with love' - the hotel needs a change in attitude and needs to start adding more LOVE to whatever they done - LOVE in approach, LOVE in cooking, LOVE in caring for the needs of the guests On top of that I really disliked that guest relation manager wanted me to disclose my booking number and PIN to submit my feedback and he wanted make sure that I give the positive feedback - I felt pushed for it !!!!!!!

very nice location to explore sea life as coral reefs in front the inside marina creates a very nice atmosphere plenty of different restaurants providing opportunities to enjoy changing atmosphere during the stay

the food is not at level of a 5 star hotel especially variety of buffet very difficult to escape the hotel just for shopping as only hotel taxis are available and distance to main road doesn’t allow alternative arrangements
