Breakfast very varied, omelettes were cooked fresh. Ala carte restaurants good service and good quality, our favourite was the Egyptian experience. What I really like is that you can be in the pool one minute and then the sea the next as all close together. A selection of pools were heated and made the stay more enjoyable. The sandy beach is well looked after and has its own reef to snorkel and waiter service for drinks on the beach is a good experience. All staff very friendly and attentive and genuinely want your stay to be the best. We are repeat guests and this hotel gives us everything we want from a holiday. We feel relaxed and comfortable the moment we arrive.

People reserve front row sunbeds very early and then leave but as we are early risers we stayed with our beds. We saw management addressing the situation and was very pleased to see them implementing the no reserve policy please keep this up.

I visited SRM with my 8 year old son from the first moment on the arrival we were welcomed by the reception staff who were very professional and super friendly, the check in process did not take long and whilst we were waiting they provided us with welcome drinks and took us to the main restaurant to have breakfast. I would like to give a special thanks to the reception team for being very friendly and professional, my son absolutely loved them, thank you for your kindness and the support during our stay. The bar staff were amazing and very friendly special mention to The Splash bar staff and the main restaurant. The animation were super friendly and creative always checking on us and keeping my son entertained. Very good day activities and and evening entertainment thank you so much! I need to pass my greatest thanks the lifeguards for being so friendly and helpful I definitely recommend this place to visit. If you are looking for a complete proper holiday then Sunrise Royal Makadi is the place for it. Superb hospitality starting with the reception, through restaurants, housekeeping, swimming pools and beach. Excellent location in Makadi Bay with a connecting beach walkway to neighboring resorts for early morning walks. Multiple swimming pools that are clean and have appropriate water temperature. Clean spacious rooms. The main restaurant offered a variety of food selections for all three meals that satisfies different tastes and health conditions.

Entertainment team can reduce the noise level of their loud speakers.

Everything was top notch and high quality. Food was Amazing with variety everyday. Special Thanks to Mr. Bahaa the main restaurant Chef. Room was spacious with nice pool view. Beach is great and sandy. Snorkeling is a must 👌 Animation team is super friendly and entertaining.

Beach needs more seats. Aquapark needs to be working alittle bit more than 4 hours only a day

Amazing place, welcoming people, family and kids friendly. I stayed in many hotels in Hurghada, this one was very special. Staff are the most welcoming ever, starting from the reception Mr. Mohamed and Mr.Said the reception manager, to the pool bars ( Abdelnasser , Ahmed , Ali) restaurants staff (many to mention) . The food taste was amazing , we had dinner at the a la carte restaurant they are all amazing specially Elia ( with the amazing mediterinean taste) , the Asian restaurant was amazing with a real Chinese taste and very welcoming staff. The beach area is so wide with lots of seating areas ( the hotel was 100% full but you will never feel that). We liked everything and the most is people they will do everything they could to make your stay special. I will definitely visit again.

group of people took some chaise longues on the beach and placed them in the middle of 2 umbrellas where they weren't suppose to be invading the privacy of the guests and no social distance. Very bad attitude from them. There should be someone to control this.

Although we were given a list of programmes and timings, we haedly ever saw them happening. It may be that the place is so spacious so we weren't near to the activities - and in this heat not really excited to get out of the pool to look around, but it would have been nice to have some more entertainment during the day. Water slides were only open 4 hours a day, from 10am to noon, then 3pm to 5pm. They were OK, but I wouldn't call it an "aqua park". Kids used the slides the first day then lost interest.

house cleaning policy needs review regarding entering rooms without permission

As we have stayed at white hillls and sunrise grand select at Sharm, we were expecting the same level of service, however we got a bit disappointed. Staff were not welcoming as other sunrise properties. Food quality was just OK. Special thanks to the gulf cart driver Mr. Tarek. Special thanks to chef Ashraf for preparing special dishes before our departure. We liked their quick service recovery. The minute they knew we were not satisfied, they did all they could to make us happy. Thank you to the duty manager for reaching out. It was a guy with a red shirt. Can’t recall his name.

No USB ports/ charging ports at the rooms. The family suite was far away from restaurants and reception which made it difficult to walk at times. We were not allowed to choose and book a la carte restaurant but instead we were randomly booked. We never went as we are not fans of Asian food.
