location, location, location. staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. restaurant kept great hours and the buffet was always full of decent choice.

the air conditioner in our room wasn’t very cool. the quality of linens-both bed, and bath could be improved upon.

Playa Los Arcos was perfect for what we wanted. We were looking for a family hotel with a pool and beach access. The location was great, the room was sufficient. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the minifridge. Yes the rooms are dated and there is a bit of a must smell but that is was you are going to get with this kind of deal. The AC was cold. Daily maid service was awesome. I was surprised by the quality of the breakfast and dinner buffet. Any buffet that has made -to-order stations is a huge plus. The view from the dining area is excellent. We loved the beach service. The guy who handled the umbrellas, chairs, and towels was excellent and you can get food and beverage service.

There were more taxes added on to what i thought was the original price. The waterfall in the pool had a lot of mold. Otherwise I don't have any complaints. The hotel was exactly what we wanted it to be.

The location was perfect for our needs. Our friends stay in the area. The staff was friendly and helpful. Magda was the most helpful of your staff with all of our needs and I would recommend her for employee of the month if you have one there

The staff was great. Any issues that come up they are more than happy to help solve the issue. The bar 2 x 1 was really good. They had a night with dances and that was fun. If you would like a luxury room then upgrade to the 4th floor. The room is luxurious and worth the upgrade.

There was a musty smell in the room when we first arrived. More selection in the buffet.

Absolutely love the location of this hotel in the middle of the Romantic Zone. Easy access to all areas no cab needed. Had a double room with a balcony and ocean view. Great view from my balcony. The room was small but comfortable with a refrigerator. Didn't do the all-inclusive but enjoyed having breakfast in the restaurant by the beach. Had a fabulous dinner at the restaurant on the second level that overlooks the beach and you dine with your feet in the water. Gorgeous restaurant, good food, and an amazing spot for sunsets. Staff was helpful. They did arrange for a Covid test which we got back within 24 hours. I would recommend this hotel and will stay there again.

Wish there had been more information/signs about activities, room service, how to operate the TV and the restaurant on the second level. Almost missed it.

Staff was friendly and help you bring your luggage to your room and make sure that the room amenities are working. They were also able to securely accommodate my luggage after checking out. There are multiple pools and a hot tub that are open until 10PM which is nice after a long day. The place was clean and comfortable. The bed and pillows were very comfy, one of the best pillows I've had at a hotel where it was medium firm.

Beware this is a very lively central area so there was noise during the night, not recommended for light sleepers.

The location was amazing. The rooms were dated but the restaurant was fabulous!

The rooms need an update, especially art with pics of Jesus or Mary, we covered that with a towel. Horrible.

The location is the best. The staff should be commended for the cleanliness. People are so friendly. The rooms could use a little upgrading and a coffee maker in the room would be a bonus. The beds were comfy and nice hot showers! All in all we loved Playa Los Aros!

Upgrade of the rooms. No coffee maker. Sink should be in the bathroom. Other than that, we were very happy with the rooms. Cleanliness and great beds!

The heated pool was absolutely wonderful! We basically stayed in it all day. At first I was disappointed that there wasn't a better ocean view from the main pool, but the fact that the sides of the building shaded the pool from the sun was actually a huge benefit. The smaller infinity pool has a great view of the beach but they don't allow children in it (nor in the hot tub).

The fact that well-behaved children weren't allowed in the infinity pool or hot tub.

Beachfront location in the heart of the Zona Romantica. We like the traditional feel as opposed to all the slick new condo highrises that are changing the character of the colonia.

The unrenovated rooms definitely need work, but they're still comfortable enough to put up with for the sake of the location.
