Excellent value for the money, big room and excellent ammenities included in the room rate (by far best deal of our overall trip).

Hotel does not have own parking. You have to park at the public parking at the back of the hotel for a 10 GBP rate a day. Note also that the parking pay machine does not recognise french car licence plates thus leaving you with some worry after having paid for potential mishandling by the system potentially triggering a ticket for violation .... I suggest hotel to act to have this corrected for the peace of mind of their foreign customers.

Breakfast was very good pleasant staff

Arrived at check in and was given the room card when we opened the door to the room which was a suite there was a lady in the room who was clearly staying in the room . We returned to the reception and the staff seemed confused but after a hour sat in the bar we returned to reception to be told we could now go to the room which was ready for us .The staff in the evening seemed very very underpresure they had a function on and we were told we couldn’t eat in the hotel .We are regular visitors to Bournmouth so we ate out We did enjoy the rest of our three day stay and Joey on reception was very helpfull and certainly dealt with our double room booking very well

The hotel was excellent, The bedroom was massive and also the bed. The staff were very friendly and informative, breakfast was very good although there were alot of people to cater for so they ran out of certain foods, but this was replenished quickly. The outdoor swimmer pool was heated and had a childrens area too which was an added bonus. There is a health centre with all the treatments you may require. The location of the hotel was very near the bus stop and a steady walk into town. It cost about £6.00 to get a taxi from town to the hotel for 4 people which we thought was reasonable. We would certainly go to this hotel again.

The decor was a bit dated. The bathroom could have done with a little modernisation.

The room was big with plenty of space..the additional sitting room and balcony was a bonus.breakfast was very good quality and plenty of choice.the location was spot on for the view.the staff were exceptional in all aspects and very professional and helpful.

Having to pay for parking your car. The main window in the bedroom appears to have condensation between the glass.it was not possible to have a good view through this.had to use the side windows.

the building has started to look tired. worn carpets the bedroom door had gaps that would not prevent a fire from spreading.

Our room was great, lots of space, nice bed and great bath for a relaxing soak. The breakfast was very good with a buffet with excellent choice for a full English breakfast, plus plenty of other options. The staff were all friendly and professional, with Khartik being very helpful and polite, and always smiling.

We weren't informed before we arrived that parking system had changed, but it was not a problem as the cost was still the same. We brought our dog with us and it was dissappointing that we had to walk for forty five minutes before we could take him onto an area of beach accessible to dogs, especially when some other areas were empty.

Fantastic, though dated ,room with a terrific bathroom and huge shower. Massive terrace with stunning views. Super reception team and staff in general.

Grumpy bar man and no atmosphere in the bar. The car parking charge at £10 per day is disgraceful. It seems the norm in the area. I am down for a week soon and staying in Christchurch . Had it not been for the parking I would have checked into the Carlton. It is the principle, especially since some spa users and function do not have to pay. It seems the hotel guest in punished! I spent £800 on my stay plus bar and food and I feel I was slapped in the face with parking. It left a bad taste. On his visit parking cost me £70!!

The bedroom was spacious, bed very comfortable, we had a lovely deep bath , the sea view from our balcony was wonderful and we could hear the waves crashing on the beach, the breakfast had every kind of options, continental, cooked, fruits and pastries , the bar area was relaxing, all staff were helpful friendly and approachable, especially one particular receptionist who gave us an upgrade and slight refund as we were unable to stay all our booked nights , the location of the hotel is great, within walking distance to the beach, pier and town centre

There is a daily fee of £10 for parking as the car park is not owned by the hotel, this is clearly noted in all information about the hotel and on their website

The suite that we got was very modern big and nice ! the facilities are very good too , all the staff was very nice , friendly and helpful specially the guys on the bar / restaurant and big shout to Jordana in reception and Nikki! they help us with everything! the hotel look more 4* the decoration is really beautiful!

I think the spa area( the pool and the jacuzzi need a better maintenance ( walls) and deep clean sometimes or cleaning often, the 1st day we were there was absolutely clean and amazing but the 3 day you could see the difference.the jacuzzi and pool wasn’t clean properly you could see on the sides of both jacuzzi de pool dark stains everywhere and not very clean water. is very sad because the space and everything is incredibly relaxing 😌 and beautiful

everything we requested we got! sea view, balcony, bath. the location was perfect and the staff was very friendly and helpful! nothing bad to say about out stay! breakfast was lovely, we had our dog and 3 month old baby so they allowed us to take breakfast up to our room which was nice as we sat out on the balcony! we will be visiting again!

only stairs at the front of the building which was a nightmare as we had a pram. also, parking was extra charge which should be included in the price, but with these being the only bad things about our stay we dont think this was a major issue!
